Fresh air, no traffic, bigger space, and laid-back vibe. Do you miss living in the province? Here's our simple and happy but short vacation in Oriental Mindoro. We visited Anilao Eco Village and Japz Grill Burger and Bistro in Bongabong. Went to Roxas Public market to buy fresh seafood, meat, and some veggies.

I make videos of tourist spots in the Philippines, things to see, what to do, and where to stay around Puerto Galera; and today we will be visiting BADLADZ resorts which are located on Mindoro Island in the Philippines. It's quiet and a perfect tropical vacation spot.
The name Mindoro comes from the Spanish name 'Mina de Oro' which means mine of gold. There's still a lot of gold to be found here, and a lot of illegal mining operations take place because of it.
The center of the island has almost no human life except for small nomadic tribes of local people. No roads, no electricity, just endless jungle!
You'll see at the northern tip of Mindoro, we have Puerto Galera, the most beautiful bay in the Philippines. The long coastline means tons of great dive sites (bring your underwater camera!) and beautiful beaches for relaxing with a cold beer.
It's really a tropical paradise here, and if the windsurfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, paintball shooting, go-karts, and assault rifles bore you, there's always Sabang for some crazy nightlife fun.
We love living here, and we hope you'll travel to the Philippines to join us!

Oriental Mindoro is touted as the country's emerging eco-tourism destination. In 2005, the Philippines was found to be the center of marine fish biodiversity and the home of the most diverse marine ecosystem in the world, by American biologists Kent Carpenter and Victor Springer. Most of the endemic species in the Philippines are found in the Verde Island Passage between Mindoro island and the main island of Luzon.
