What Happened Inside the Airplane Graveyard?

I visited Mojave, California which is a famous airplane graveyard in the desert. More than 100 planes are stored here and it is end of the line for most planes that arrive in the graveyard. I went inside an ex Thai Airways B747-400 to take a look at the interior, much to my surprise the interior had been kept intact. Then I step inside an ex-Qantas B747 and found my way to walk on the 747 wing! I could almost touch the winglet!

Then we drove to Victorville to meet up with an airplane scraper Huy, Huy gave us a tour and explained how they tear down airplanes using an excavator. The useful parts, such as the engines, the avionics and the interior, are usually stripped out for sale . We went inside an ex United B747-400 and ex Singapore/VIM B777-200 to take a look.

Talaat Captan, owner of Air Hollywood, and Anthony Toth, co-owner of the Pan Am Experience, appear in this video as tour guides of the airplane graveyard storage.

Khlong Suan Market, or 100 year old market, Chachoengsao Province, Thailand. ( 1 )

We set off to this market on a day that was raining so hard I wondered whether it was worth going. But having arrived here, the rain stopped and the sun came out. What it had done though was keep all the people away so it was much easier to get round the market, as very few people had come that day.
I would not really call this a floating market but more a market situated on a canal, but the setting made for a great day out, and the market was first class.
Situated on the banks of Prawet burirom Canal, Khlong Suan Market lies in two provinces: Tambon Thepparat, Amphoe Ban Pho, Chachoengsao Province and Tambon Khlong Suan, Amphoe Bang Bo, Samut Prakan Province.
This traditional market dates back to the reign of King Rama V. The market contains many different shops, which are getting rare these days, since they are increasingly being replaced by modern convenience stores and shopping malls.
After more than 100 years old, it still retains the quaint charm of the old days. Visitors will be pleased with the traditional market atmosphere while enjoying a great variety of tasty food.
Klong Suan will dazzle you with its old shop houses and stalls selling a variety of tasty traditional foods like tom yam noodles, sweet Thai sausage and pot-stewed duck to desserts made from coconut, quaint old utensils and ancient tin toys.
A symbol fitting of the market is a 71 year old coffee shop, Pae Lee, laid out with a few single round tables and stools. The shop takes its name from its owner, a genial elderly person with a ready smile for his patrons.
The most touching aspect of this community, is not the ambience nor the well-maintained buildings or their architecture, but it is the residents' traditional way of life that remains largely untouched by the tides of time.
Khlong Prawet Burirom ( Khlong Phra Khanong ) was one of the great arterial waterways of the pre-automobile era in Thailand. It runs from The Chao Phraya River at Khlong Toei near Bangkok's Port, Eastwards to the Bang Phakong River near Chachoengsao, a distance of some 55 km. It is still used by boat services, but only from Phra Khanong Bridge on the Sukhumvit Road to Srinakharin rd. Passage further east is blocked by the water gates near Prawet.

16 Hours in Emirates Premium Economy vs Business Class

I flew on Emirates A380 from Los Angeles to Dubai. This video features a close look of Emirates Premium Economy and Business Class on this ultra long haul flight.

I boarded the long flight and settled in Business Class which has updated interior of white leather seats. The flight had a small delay so I took the opportunity to experience Premium Economy Class. There were just a few passengers taking advantage of the Premium Economy cabin as Emirates has just added Premium Economy on US A380 flights including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, and New York. Flight attendant showed me the seat functions and I gave my recommendation of the best seats in Emirates Premium Economy.

During the flight, I checked out the meals served and compared those of Premium Economy with Economy Class. I was given some behind-the-scenes tips on how the Emirates crew operated the A380. At the end of the flight, I gave my verdict on flying in both Emirates Premium Economy and Business Class.

Thai food is known as being one of the best cuisines in the world to eat Thai street food is no exception. If you come to Thailand do try the street food, it is some of the best Thai cuisine you will find here and this video will give you some ideas for what Thai street food you can find when you travel in Thailand.

Thai cuisine and street food in Thailand has taken influences from many other styles of Asian cooking, including Chinese food. You’ll find Thai street food on many street corners in Thailand, as well as at every market, be it in Krabi, Phuket, Bangkok or Pattaya. Thai food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets and night market all over Thailand, you’re never far from one. At the markets you'll find so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily in Thailand since I moved here in April, 2012 and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai cuisine you’ll find in Thailand!

Street Food Bangkok - 60 Kg. CURRY + SPECIAL ROTI with Chef Gaggan!

Huge thank you to everyone who came, and everyone who helped!
Chef Gaggan:
Itan:

Street food is something that unites us - we love to eat street food, and more importantly, we love the people behind street food. #streetfood #Bangkok #Thailand

What if we could do a Bangkok street food take-over, Gaggan and his team of chefs would cook, we’d organize a pop-up event, and we’d donate the money directly to a food vendor in need?

4 days later, it was happening!

Mae Roti - Her Story: About 10 years ago her husband passed away, and she has raised and supported her 5 kids by selling roti (now selling with her daughter). As soon as we tasted her roti, we knew it was special (green roti), and Chef Gaggan immediately began thinking of what curry it would pair well with.

60 KG. of Beef Rendang Curry - Rendang curry is among the best curries and best single dishes in the world, and thanks to the amazing Chef Rydo ( he along with Chef Gaggan cooked up 60 kg. Of some of the world’s best rendang. It was so incredibly good, so fragrant, rich, full of spice, and it was the perfect accompaniment to fresh hot green pandan roti!

Thank you for your help and support and for coming out in Bangkok. We hope to do events like this, to promote and to support more food vendors.

Mae Roti - You’ll find Mae Roti selling her green pandan rotis in Bangrak, on Soi 50, just outside of Robinson Department store at 4 pm. Right about here:

The NIGHT MARKET Sells GIANT PORK SPINES!! Epic Street Food in Chiang Mai on a Budget ????????????????????

Visiting a night market and searching out new and delicious street foods has to be one of the most fun things to ever do when you visit South East Asia. I love having my friends Brock and Caleb here in Chiang Mai right now, and we are doing our best to search out some round-the-clock wonderful spots for Thai food to share (first together, and then share them in these videos with you!).

It is a noodle-lovers party-time pretty much EVERY night in the downtown areas of Thailand's largest cities... but for me, in Chiang Mai anyways, it does not get any better than this row of brightly lit street carts parked behind this local fire station.

Santitam is well known among tourists, as is the next-door area of the Old City, and yet sandwiched right between these two places is a small yet bustling area of street carts (PILED with street food delights!) where I never see many tourists sitting...

You can hear Li tell a quick story of how we first found this place, but TODAY I am just SO glad that they are still continuing their business. Tonight's visit to Jae Muay was wonderful, and I hope you love the GIANT bowls of noodles we all share here together.

Have a great day today, and know that I am always looking forward to the next one where we can share ever-more positive and encouraging words together, thanks so much for your constant support through messages (and on our livestreams!), I think we are doing something really good right now.

Rock on! and be GOOD. See you for the next one very soon!
Much love, from Joel and Li (and Brock and Caleb!)

LOCATION:
This link simply lists the street as Late Night Street Food.
(They are not wrong :) But this is not the name of a single cart...)

PRICE:
Bowls of noodles here range from 40-60 baht each (1.50 - 2.00$US)
