Chhattisgarh is a heavily forested state in central India known for its temples and waterfalls. Near the capital Raipur, the town of Sirpur on the Mahanadi River is home to the red-brick Lakshmana (Laxman) Temple, decorated with carvings from Indian mythology. 1. Chitrakot Water Falls :
The Chitrakote Falls is the widest natural waterfall in India and often called the Niagara Falls of India,located on the Indravati Chitrakot Water Falls is one of the six waterfalls in India which is classified as a geo-heritage site and suitable for development of eco-tourism in Chhattisgarh.
2. Bastar Palace :
The Bastar palace is known for the royal family of bastar and the history of kings, now the Royal Bastar Farm is a heritage farm house. Bastar Palace situated in Jagdalpur of Chattisgarh has the special ranking among the tourist places located in Chattisgarh.
3. Purkhouti Muktangan :
Purkhauti Muktangan is developed by the Cultural Department of Chhattisgarh Government and is spread over a huge 18 hectare of land. It exhibits the entire natural resources with existing industries and infrastructures. Highlights – The building is a sole tourist attraction spot as it captured a place in the VISION 2020.
This is a nice place to understand the culture of the local tribes and gives a lot of knowledge to the kids. Visit Bhoramdeo Temple, this temple was constructed somewhere during the 7th -11th century and is called as the Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh. मैनपाट अम्बिकापुर से 75 किलोमीटर दुरी पर है इसे छत्तीसगढ का शिमला कहा जाता है। मैंनपाट विन्ध पर्वत माला पर स्थित है जिसकी समुद्र सतह से ऊंचाई 3781 फीट है इसकी लम्बाई 28 किलोमीटर और चौडाई 10 से 13 किलोमीटर है अम्बिकापुर से मैंनपाट जाने के लिए दो रास्ते हैं पहला रास्ता अम्बिकापुर-सीतापुर रोड से होकर जाता और दुसरा ग्राम दरिमा होते हुए मैंनपाट तक जाता है। प्राकृतिक सम्पदा से भरपुर यह एक सुन्दर स्थान है। यहां सरभंजा जल प्रपात, टाईगर प्वांइट तथा मछली प्वांइट प्रमुख दर्शनीय स्थल हैं। मैनपाट से ही रिहन्द एवं मांड नदी का उदगम हुआ है। मैनपाट में मेहता प्वांइट भी एक दर्शनीय स्थल है |
इसे छत्तीसगढ का तिब्बत भी कहा जाता हैं। यहां तिब्बती लोगों का जीवन एवं बौध मंदिर आकर्षण का केन्द्र है। यहां पर एक सैनिक स्कूल भी प्रस्तावित है। यह कालीन और पामेरियन कुत्तो के लिये प्रसिद्ध है। ऊंची-ऊंची पहाडिय़ों व वनों से आच्छादित करीब 13 किलोमीटर के इस हरियल इलाके में नदियां व झरने लोगों को आकर्षित करते हैं। यहां चारों ओर पसरी हरी घास दिल को सुकुन देती है। ठंड के दिनों में सुबह-सुबह बर्फ की सफेद चादर पूरी धरती को ढंक लेती है, जबकि बारिश में चारों तरफ हरियाली ही हरियाली बिखरी रहती है। इस दौरान यहां के झरने पूरे शबाब पर होते हैं। झरनों का कल-कल नाद व पक्षियों की चहचहाहट लोगों को अपनी ओर खींच लेती है। यहां बारिश व ठंड में सबसे ज्यादा पर्यटक पहुंचते है लेकिन गर्मियों में भी यहां का ठंडा मौसम पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करता है। यहीं वजह है कि मैनपाट को ग्रीष्मकालीन राजधानी बनाने की भी चर्चा है। जो लोग शिमला नहीं जा सकते वे छत्तीसगढ़ के इस इलाके में शिमला का मज़ा तो ले ही सकते हैं। छोटा तिब्बत भी कहते हैं इसे मैनपाट की एक खूबी और है कि 1962 में यहां तिब्बतियों को शरणार्थी के रूप में बसाया गया था इसलिए इसे छोटा तिब्बत के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यहां तिब्बती धर्मगुरु दलाईलामा दो बार आ चुके हैं। यहां तिब्बती कैंप व बौद्ध मंदिर पहुंचकर मन को शांति मिलती है। मैनपाट बेहतरीन कालीन पॉमेलियन कुत्तों के लिए भी मशहूर है।

नमस्ते दोस्तों, आपका स्वागत है हमारे चैनल पर। आज हम आपको बलोद, छत्तीसगढ़ के शीर्ष पर्यटन स्थलों के बारे में बताएंगे।
1. सिया देवी माता मंदिर, बालोद
बालोद जिले – गुरुर तहसील से धमतरी मार्ग में ग्राम सांकरा (बालोद से 15 कि. मी. दूर ) से 7 कि. मी. कि दूरी पर देव ग्राम नारागांव स्थित हैं !
शक्ति – सौन्दर्य का अनोखा संगम अपने अप्रतिम प्राक्रतिक सौन्दर्य से पर्यटकों का मन मोह लेती हैं,
एक मात्र प्राक्रतिक जल प्रपात एवं गुफ़ाओ के कारण नारागांव स्थित सियादेवी स्थल आध्यत्म एवं पर्यटक स्थल के रूप में प्रसिद्ध हैं !

2. मां गंगा मैया मंदिर, झलमला, बालोद
छत्तीसगढ़ के बालोद जिला मुख्यालय से महज तीन किलोमीटर पर स्थित ग्राम पंचायत झलमला का प्रसिद्ध मंदिर है। मंदिर ऐसा की दर्शन मात्र से ही जीवन धन्य हो जाए।

3. किल्लेवाली मंदिर:
दल्लीराजहरा के दुर्ग डोंगरी किल्लेवाली माता मंदिर लोगों के लिए आस्था का केंद्र है।
वहीं पर्यटकों के लिए यह एक अच्छा पिकनिक स्पाट भी है। घने जंगल व प्राकृतिक सुंदरता सात पहाड़ियों का मनोरम दृश्य व बोइरडीह जलाशय का आकर्षक नजारा पर्यटक स्थल पहाड़ी के ऊपर से लगभग 15 किलोमीटर दूर बसे गांवों का नजारा देखने को मिलता है।

4. भोला पठार मंदिर पर्रेगुड़ा
बालोद से यह यह करीब 25 से 30 किलोमीटर पर है
यहां शिव जी के बहुत प्राचीन मंदिर है
वहीं पर पानी का कुंड निर्माण हो गया है और इस कुंड पर हमेशा पानी रहता है कभी नहीं सूखता

5. वीर मेला - राजा राव पठार
वीर मेला छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के बालोद जिला में धमतरी जगदलपुर नेशनल हाईवे पर स्थित धमतरी से 15 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित राजा राव पठार पर छत्तीसगढ़ के प्रथम स्वतंत्र शहीद वीर नारायण सिंह की याद में मनाया जाता है।
6. 11वीं शताब्दी से स्थापित है मंदिर
जगन्नाथपुर के जलाशय स्थित भगवान शिवजी व गणेशजी की मूर्ति प्राचीन काल से निर्मित है जो देखरेख के अभाव में जीर्ण शीर्ण स्थिति में अपने अस्तित्व खोता जा रहा है। ग्राम जगन्नाथपुर में तालाब पार स्थित शिवजी व गणेशजी की मन्दिर 11 शताब्दी से स्थापित है।

7. भूमिफोड़ दक्षिण मुखी हनुमान मंदिर
जमीन से अवतरित हनुमान जी की मूर्ति जो दिनों दिन बढ़ती ही जा रही है, जो अब लगभग आठ फिट की हो चुकी है।

8. जलेश्वर महादेव मंदिर
जिला मुख्यालय से लगे जलेश्वर महादेव “दशौन्दी तालाब” बालोद नगर के गंजपारा में स्थित जलेश्वर महादेव दशौन्दी तलाब एक धार्मिक आस्था का केंद्र है जहां पर लोग आकर विशालकाय शिवलिंग की पूजा अर्चना करते हैं, जहां लोग ओम नमः शिवाय जाप के साथ ही मंत्र भी लिखते हैं।

9. Balod districts dams
बालोद जिले में बालोद कलेक्टरेट से लगभग 2 किमी की दूरी पर स्थित है । बांध परियोजना 1910 में तंदुला और सुखा नाला नदियों के संगम पर शुरू की गई थी और 1921 में पूरी हुई थी।
