I also walked around a bit early (right after lunch) so it was very hot and this might explain the lack of people walking around. This travel and staycation vlog is about our overnight stay at Birds of Paradise of Villa Amihan Resort in Tanauan, Batangas, Philippines.
This unique staycation place in Batangas but is only an hour an a half drive from Manila. We were delighted as it was our first time to visit Tanauan Batangas. We've thought that the only staycation place in Tanauan is The Vineyard at Tanauan, but it was a surprise that there is such a beautiful and affordable staycation in Tanauan - The Villa Amihan Resort.

This travel and staycation vlog is based on our overnight stay at the Family Villa of Villa Amihan Resort. We were excited as it was our first time in Tanauan, Batangas. We've only heard of Vineyard at Tanauan and thought that it was the only staycation place in Tanauan, Batangas.
Staycation Near Manila
We were surprised that Villa Amihan Resort is just an hour to an hour and a half drive from Manila. Located in Tanauan, Batangas, Villa Amihan Resort is very accessible - no rough road and can be easily be accessed by sedan cars.
Perfect for Family/Barkada outings or Team Buildings
The villa has 12PAX sleeping capacity but they can accommodate up to 20PAX making it a perfect staycation for your family or even with your barked or officemates... and they're pet-friendly too!

Hardin sa tabi ng ilog is a mere 1.5 hour trip from Manila via the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway. It is a good venue for campsite and events if you want to breakout from the conventional out-of-town roadtrip.

Thank you for taking time to read this haha ????
How to get there:
Take a van or a bus at Legarda, Manila going to Infanta, Quezon. Tell the driver to drop you at Tanauan River Rafting, or you can go straight to Real, Quezon to choose a resort to check in.
The Van costs 220php, bus costs 200php (I think)
River rafting costs 400php per head, only 3 persons per balsa.
Tip:
Gamitin ang dalawang kamay sa pag hawak sa balsa, para hindi kayo mahulog gurl katulad ko haha!! Wag bidyo bidyo pag nasa rocky part gurl! ????
Best time to try river rafting, November to February. Para sulit yung pagkaextreme gurl! ????
