Syracuse NY: A Brief Overview

Syracuse NY is a beautiful city located in the heart of central New York. Syracuse has an interesting history, and is well worth the visit. There are many beautiful buildings in Syracuse, and many interesting facts to go with those buildings. Neighborhoods like clinton square, hanover square, and armory square ( a lot of squares!) have been revitalized tremendously, and are in great shape today.

Whiskey Hollow Road - One of the Scariest Places in the State of New York

Baldwinsville is a small village roughly 12 miles northwest of Syracuse. In this quiet, remote town is a particularly quiet, remote road. It is a 5 mile road with no street lights or houses. It is all forest. It is said that back in the old days devil worshipers and members of the KKK used to worship up there and kill humans.

According to legend, many of the sacrificed victims who lost their lives along Whiskey Hollow were children. The spirits of these unfortunate kids still make their presence known. Many have seen a bloody children's blanket hanging in the trees over the roadway. Those who see this also usually encounter the ghosts of small kids wandering along the road. Sometimes they seem confused. On other occasions they have asked passerby for help, then have disappeared.

Green Lakes State Park - New York - Cinematic Video

Green Lakes State Park is a New York State Park located east of Syracuse in the Town of Manlius.
The 2 lakes, Green Lake and Round Lake, are famous for their water colour that appear particularly green! The water has a high concentration of sulfur in the deep waters and also a high concentration of calcium and magnesium. This mineral concentration leads to whiting events each year in which small crystallites of calcite and other minerals precipitate from the water.
This is a perfect place for great biking, hiking, walking trails, camping , or for just a relaxing afternoon on the beach!
