Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook - Easy Hiking Path for Kids with Views of Los Angeles

The Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook is a popular outdoor destination in Los Angeles, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline and the surrounding mountains. Located just a short drive from downtown LA, the park features a variety of amenities and activities, including hiking trails, picnic areas, and an outdoor amphitheater that hosts a range of cultural events throughout the year.

One of the highlights of the park is the overlook, which offers stunning views of the city and the Pacific Ocean. Visitors can climb the stairs or take a gentle hike to reach the overlook, or just drive to the top and park. You can enjoy the beauty of the natural landscape while taking in the sweeping views of the city below. On a clear day, visitors can see as far as Catalina Island, which is over 30 miles away.

The hiking trails in the park are a great way to explore the natural beauty of the area. There are several trails to choose from, ranging in difficulty from easy to moderate. The most popular trail is the Culver City Stairs, which consists of 282 steps that lead to the top of the overlook. The stairs can be challenging, but the views from the top are well worth the effort.

The park also features several picnic areas, making it a great spot for a family outing or a picnic with friends. The picnic areas are equipped with tables, grills, and trash cans, and offer a scenic setting for a meal or a snack.

The park is open from dawn to dusk, and admission is free. There is a small parking fee for visitors who choose to park in the park's lot. With its convenient location, stunning views, and range of activities, it is the perfect spot for a quick day trip.

A Walk Up To The Baldwin Hills Scenic Outlook, Culver City, L.A

The Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook California State Park is located just southwest of downtown Culver City. To some Los Angeles area residents, the site is more commonly known as the Culver City Stairs. This outdoor staircase is designed into the trails leading up to a view of the greater Los Angeles area. The street address for the park is 6300 Hetzler Road, Culver City, California 90232.

The state of California purchased the property in 2000, then closed it to the public in the middle of 2006 to construct the trails (which include the staircase) and visitor center. The visitor center was created by the San Diego-based couple Ricardo Rabines and Taal Safdie, whose goal in designing the overlook was to “encompass non-traditional park demographics and environments.” The duo’s work has graced Southern California educational and civic projects like UC San Diego’s Eleanor Roosevelt College, the student center at UCLA, and the Otay Mesa Library. The park reopened in April 2009 with the 282 unique, irregular steps made from recycled concrete found on the park.

Top 10 BEST TOWNS in the United States

10 Best Towns in The United States

One of the most common questions I get Is: Where is the best place to live in the United States? Today we will start answering that question. There are a lot of really nice and affordable places to live in the United States. Everyone always hears about the big cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York. These days those aren't the greatest places to live. More than ever people are spreading out across the United States looking for a new town to call home and maybe buy a house. More and more people want to know about the best small towns in America. Small town life is on the rise in the United States.
Are you looking to find that perfect small town?
This list might help you narrow your search. We will probably do a few of these videos so let me know about your hometown in the comment section.

If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. Occasionally we do other countries. Most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. That is just what people want to see.
If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town, or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine, rainbows, and a bunch of smoke up your skirt. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will.

The 10 Best Places to Live in Georgia (The U.S.) - Job. Family. Retiree. Education

Georgia is a state located in the southeastern United States. It was established in 1732, the last of the original Thirteen Colonies.
Named after King George II of Great Britain, Georgia was the fourth state to ratify the United States Constitution, on January 2, 1788.
Georgia is the 24th largest and the 8th most populous of the 50 United States, home to more than 10 million people,
a number that continues to increase every year thanks to the many charms that this State has to offer.
Georgia is known for many things: beautiful old houses, a rich history, Southern charm, and, of course, some of the most welcoming and unique cities in the country.
Thriving cities and charming towns, beautiful countryside connecting mountain vistas with white-sand beaches,
plus a temperate climate offering all four seasons make Georgia one of the very best places to live in the South.
Across the state, you will find world-class entertainment, professional and recreational sports, and restaurants providing cuisine from around the world.
Below-average housing costs, low taxes — and a cost of living that’s lower than what you’ll find in many other U.S. cities — all combine to make Georgia an affordable place to live.

If you’re new to the state or just aren’t completely sure what you want in your new hometown, the following are considered to be the best places to live in Georgia,
all factors considered – education, healthcare, cost of living, quality of life, crime rate, attractions and amenities.

10. Atlanta. (Good for jobs, education.)
9. Savannah. (Good for families.)
8. Augusta. (Good for jobs, retirees.)
7. Duluth. (Good for jobs.)
6. Athens. (Education, retirees.)
5. Decatur. (Family life and funs.)
4. Peachtree City. (Job, affordability, raise a family, safety.)
3. Alpharetta. (Job, quality of life, family, safety.)
2. Johns Creek. (Quality of life, affordability, family, safety.)
1. Milton. (Education, health and safety.)

Baldwin Beach Park is one of the best Maui Beaches with a beautiful 1 mile beach with soft sand

Baldwin Beach Park is an absolutely beautiful beach on the north side of Maui. This beach is located just before you get to the main shopping area of Paia. As you drive in, you will see some large grass fields. There is free parking on the side of the road and in a big parking lot. The sign says that this beach opens at 7am.  As you walk onto the beach, you will see a lifeguard stand and to the right a big pavilion. Baldwin Beach is about a mile long and connects with Baby Beach/Sprecklesville Beach at the end. The sand is really soft and the views are amazing. We highly recommend visiting Baldwin Beach Park on your next trip to Maui!
