A Day Trip to SKERRIES - Stunning Scenery & Recreation (4K)

I invite you on a virtual trip to Skerries - a coastal village in the Eastern part of Ireland.
It is 30 km away from Dublin and you can easily get there by taking bus 33a from Abby Street in Dublin. It will take you about an hour to get to Skerries and once you are there you can explore the beach and the green area beside the beach, you can visit the harbour and watch the seals, you can have a picnic. Normally Skerries is a place for the water sports enthusiasts but at this moment these activities are not available due to the lockdown. There are several good restaurants in Skerries - my favourite one is Stoop Your Head and my second favourite choice is the The Blue Bar. The restaurants are currently closed but you can get a take away and enjoy it at the beach. I hope you will like this video. I filmed it with my new camera GoPro Hero 9.

Ireland
Ireland is located in the north-west of Europe, between latitudes 51° and 56° N, and longitudes 11° and 5° W. It is separated from Great Britain by the Irish Sea and the North Channel, which has a width of 23 kilometres (14 mi) at its narrowest point. To the west is the northern Atlantic Ocean and to the south is the Celtic Sea, which lies between Ireland and Brittany, in France. Ireland has a total area of 84,421 km2 (32,595 sq mi), of which the Republic of Ireland occupies 83 percent. Ireland and Great Britain, together with many nearby smaller islands, are known collectively as the British Isles. As the term British Isles is controversial in relation to Ireland, the alternate term Britain and Ireland is often used as a neutral term for the islands.

A ring of coastal mountains surround low plains at the centre of the island. The highest of these is Carrauntoohil (Irish: Corrán Tuathail) in County Kerry, which rises to 1,038 m (3,406 ft) above sea level. The most arable land lies in the province of Leinster. Western areas are mainly mountainous and rocky with green panoramic vistas. River Shannon, the island's longest river at 386 km (240 mi) long, rises in County Cavan in the north west and flows through Limerick in the mid west.

Dublin
Dublin is situated at the mouth of the River Liffey and encompasses a land area of approximately 117.8 square kilometres (45.5 sq mi) in east-central Ireland. It is bordered by the Dublin Mountains, a low mountain range and sub range of the Wicklow Mountains, to the south and surrounded by flat farmland to the north and west.
Dublin has many landmarks and monuments dating back hundreds of years. One of the oldest is Dublin Castle, which was first founded as a major defensive work on the orders of England's King John in 1204, shortly after the Norman invasion of Ireland in 1169, when it was commanded that a castle be built with strong walls and good ditches for the defence of the city, the administration of justice, and the protection of the King's treasure. Largely complete by 1230, the castle was of typical Norman courtyard design, with a central square without a keep, bounded on all sides by tall defensive walls and protected at each corner by a circular tower. Sited to the south-east of Norman Dublin, the castle formed one corner of the outer perimeter of the city, using the River Poddle as a natural means of defence.

Edenmore
Edenmore is bordered by the Ayrfield part of Coolock across the Tonlegee Road to the north, Coolock proper to the north west, Harmonstown west, the core of Raheny to the south and south east, and Donaghmede and Kilbarrack to the north east and east.

Edenmore is serviced by the Dublin Bus routes, 27, 27A and 104. Raheny and Harmonstown DART stations are also both short walking distances away.

Donaghmede
Donaghmede is situated approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) to the north east of the Dublin city centre, and is in the constituency of Dublin Bay North. It lies within the jurisdiction of Dublin City Council and the postal district Dublin 13. Donaghmede lies west of Baldoyle from which it was largely formed, north of Raheny, east of Coolock and Balgriffin and south of Portmarnock.

In the northern part of Donaghmede is the Grange Stream, running in culvert from western Donaghmede, past Grange Abbey and flowing into the Mayne River in northern Baldoyle. Flowing through the southern parts of Donaghmede is another stream, the Kilbarrack Stream and/or Daunagh Water, culverted in stage in the 1970s and 1980s. It reaches the sea at two points in lower Kilbarrack / Bayside, though in earlier times it joined with the Grange Stream and ultimately flowed into the Mayne River, feedback Baldoyle Bay.

Dublin Bus Route 31D - DCU To Baldoyle

Thsi a re-edited verision of the video I have upload a few weeks ago, of the bus route 31D on the last day of operation. It only had one trip in each direction, one in the morning going from Baldoyle to DCU, and one in the evening from DCU to Baldoyle.

I re-edit the video to remove the first piece of music in the video, that was not liked by the viewers, and in turn that I kinded of disliked myself. When listen back to the music again.

Botanic Garden #thetravelchannelireland Glasnevin Dublin Ireland Western Europe

Botanic Garden Part1

Welcome to the National Botanic Gardens – We Are Open!

During the current COVID restrictions (edited June 2021), we are pleased to welcome visitors to the Gardens, from 10am to 5pm on weekdays and 10am to 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays (Glasnevin), and 9am to 5pm (Kilmacurragh), Monday to Friday, weekends, and bank holidays.
The safety of visitors and staff is our priority, and in order to adhere to Government Guidelines there will be a limit on the numbers of visitors allowed to enter at any given time. At Glasnevin, the Car Park, some of the toilets, and Cemetery Gate have reopened but the Glasshouses and Herbarium & Library will remain closed for the time being.
For more info on the Café, Toilets are available in the Courtyard next to the main pedestrian entrance.
To ensure adequate social distancing we have organised separate entry and exit points to the Gardens and in to the Café.
Bear in mind that there may be delays entering the Gardens. We may need to close the gardens for short periods if the Gardens reach capacity. Once this happens we will wait for some visitors to leave before allowing more to enter.
Please note that the usual rules apply: no dogs (except guide dogs), no ball games, picnics, sports, bicycles, tricycles, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, micro-scooters, balance bikes and other vehicles (except wheelchairs).
The National Botanic Gardens of Ireland are an oasis of calm and beauty, and entry is free. A premier scientific institution, the Gardens contain important collections of plant species and cultivars from all over the world. The National Botanic Gardens in Dublin are located in Glasnevin, just three kilometres from Dublin City Centre, and are famous for the exquisitely restored historic glasshouses. The National Botanic Gardens in Wicklow are located in Kilmacurragh, where the milder climate, higher rainfall, and deeper, acidic soils of this historic Wicklow garden, provide a counterpoint to the collections at Glasnevin. The two gardens have been closely associated since 1854. The National Botanic Gardens of Ireland are operated and managed by the Office of Public Works

Howth Summit | Hidden Beach | 4K Drone Video | Ireland

#4k #djimini2 #howth #beach

Gentle clifftop hiking route overlooking a landmark lighthouse & bays, beaches & mountains.

The first of Howth’s ‘hidden beaches’, Red Rock Beach is located on the southern side of the Peninsula and a moderate level of fitness is required to reach it.

If you’re taking on the longest iteration of the Howth Cliff Walk, then you’re bound to come across Red Rock Beach on the ramble around from Sutton.

A Hole In The Wall Dublin #4K #GoPro Hero 9

Today I am taking you to a nice sandy beach, situated between Sutton and Howth. It is called A Hole in the Wall, also referred to as Burrow Beach. The beach is small but offers spectacular views towards Baldoyle, Lambay Island, Ireland's Eye, and Howth. It is also a good place where you can spot gorgeous birds - in this vlog you will see a flock of Canadian geese.

I went on this walk together with Elaine, this is actually my last vlog with her before my trip to Bulgaria.
