Perth, Western Australia (4K urban scenic drive)
It is July 2022, middle of the winter, blue sky and 20 degrees. We take a scenic drive from Perth to Fremantle and then along the coast to Cottesloe.
Our journey begins in Kings Park near Giant Boab tree 'Gija Jumulu'. From here we drive through Kings Park down to Crawley and The University of Western Australia. We continue driving along right bank of the Swan River through Nedlands, Dalkeith, Claremont, Peppermint Grove and Mosman Park down to Fremantle. Freo's 'Cappuccino Strip' is bustling with people. After a couple of circuits through Fremantle, we head back north along the coast towards our final destination, Cottesloe beach.

It was a fun and sunshiny drive to the very popular Scarborough Beach! This footage was taken on a very sunny winter afternoon in Perth and shows some of Perth's busiest roads and not-so-busy ones through a few leafy neighbourhoods in the western suburbs, north of the river.
I started from Northbridge, then through to the western suburbs of Wembley and Innaloo. Going back, I took a detour on Brighton Road, then exited to Scarborough Beach Road to reach Mitchell Freeway going to the City.

Then the developers moved in ... Ironically, signage stops 4WD's from using the remaining area, presumably to protect the sand dunes.
