On my bike again which recently had an awesome oil change. Me and Siloy, my Yamaha MT03, cruising my way to the farthest point of southern Cebu.
Santander is located 133 kilometers south of Cebu City. Actually the town is the southernmost tip of Cebu Island. Bordered by Samboan and Oslob in the north, the island of Negros (Neg. Oriental) to the south, to the east is Cebu Strait and to the west is the Tañon Strait.
Popular among travellers to and from Negros because of its ports in Liloan which offers ferry and roro trips to Sibulan, San JOse (Tampi) and also to Larena Siquijor. Many vehicles coming from Negros make a stopover in Santander's Park (Igwaron/Sanayon Park). This open space offers a view of the 4 components of Central Visayas- Cebu, Negros Oriental, Bohol and Siquijor.
Join me in my tour in and around Santander. From Barangay Pasil to Poblacion to Barangay Liloan and even the hilly Barangay of Bunlan where one can have a majestic and clearest view of Negros Island and the water that divides Cebu and Negros-the Tañon Strait.

Buwakan ni Ajejandra or Alejandra's Flower Farm in Cebuano is a 700-square-meter garden conveniently situated on the Cebu Transcentral Highway, about an hour from the heart of Cebu City.
Buwak means flower so in English Buwakan ni Alejandra means Flower Farm of Alejandra or Alejandra's Flower Farm.

Buwakan ni Alejandra | Paradise Philippines
Up in the Balamban mountains, about 33 kilometers from Cebu City, lies a hidden gem called Buwakan ni Alejandra (Alejandra’s Flower Garden). The name is derived from the Visayan word “buwakan” which means “flower garden” and “Alejandra” is the name of the owner's mother, in honor of her love for flowers.
The garden extends to an area that measures about 3,000 square meters while the expansion is still in the works. The garden features over 200 varieties of local plants and flowers.
Roses, dahlias, wax begonias, hibiscus, sages are just a few of the many beauties you’ll find in Buwakan ni Alejandra.
It’s the perfect place to take your special someone for a romantic stroll, for your family to relax and enjoy, and really just an all-around great place to take that perfect photo for Instagram!
The garden is open every day of the week from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM for a minimal fee of Php 75.00 for adults, Php 50.00 for children below 10 years old, and Php 50.00 for senior citizens and PWD. Children below 5 can enter for free.

My family, especially my mother was so ecstatic to see the place. She was so amazed by the beautiful yet simple flowers that were so bright and colorful. The place is not huge but it is still very instagrammable.

Cebu is located to the east of Negros, to the west of Leyte and Bohol islands. The province consists of Cebu Island, as well as 167 smaller islands, which include Mactan, Bantayan, Malapascua, Olango and the Camotes Islands. But the highly urbanized cities of Cebu, Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue are independent cities.
Cebu Island itself is long and narrow, stretching 196 kilometres (122 mi) from north to south and 32 kilometres (20 mi) across at its widest point. It has narrow coastlines, limestone plateaus and coastal plains. It also has rolling hills and rugged mountain ranges traversing the northern and southern lengths of the island.
Cebu's highest mountains are over 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) high. Flat tracts of land can be found in the city of Bogo and in the towns of San Remigio, Medellin and Daanbantayan at the northern region of the province.
Cebu City, officially the City of Cebu (Cebuano: Dakbayan sa Sugbo; Filipino: Lungsod ng Cebu), is the capital city of the province of Cebu and is the second city of the Philippines being the center of Metro Cebu, the second most populous metropolitan area in the Philippines after Metro Manila. Cebu is a 1st city income class highly urbanized city where political governance is independent and separate from the province of Cebu, and according to the 2015 census, it has a population of 922,611, making it the fifth most populated city in the country. Cebu City is a significant center of commerce, trade and education in the Visayas region.
The city is located on the mid-eastern side of Cebu island. It is the first Spanish settlement, the country's oldest city, and the first capital of the Philippines. It is considered as the Fount of Christianity in the Far East.
Cebu is the Philippines' main domestic shipping port and is home to about 80% of the country's domestic shipping companies. Cebu City is bordered to the northeast by Mandaue and the town of Consolacion, to the west are Toledo City, and the towns of Balamban and Asturias, to the south are Talisay City and the town of Minglanilla. Across Mactan Strait to the east is Mactan Island.
It is the center of a metropolitan area called Metro Cebu, which includes the cities of Carcar, Danao, Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Naga and Talisay; and the municipalities (towns) of Compostela, Consolacion, Cordova, Liloan, Minglanilla and San Fernando. Metro Cebu has a total population of 2,849,213.
