BALAGTAS and GUIGUINTO Bulacan Road Trip No. 14 | Driving Tour | 4K HDR
Balagtas is a 1st class municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 77,018 people.
With Francisco Baltazar’s legacy to the Filipino race, the people of Bigaa moved for the renaming of the town after him. On September 28, 1965, Bigaa was given a new name through a Bill authored and sponsored by Congressman Teodulo Natividad. In June 18, 1966 the Philippine Congress approved R.A 4702 renaming the town Bigaa to Balagtas in honor of the renowned Tagalog poet Francisco Baltazar ( also known as Francisco“ Kiko” Balagtas). PANDI Bulacan Road Trip No. 21 | The Youngest Town in Bulacan
Pandi is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 155,115 people.
Pandi is the youngest tow in Bulacan. During the Spanish days it formed part of the vast Santa Maria de Pandi Estate, which included the towns of Santa Maria and Balagtas and parts of Angat and Bustos. The present site of the Municipal building was then enclosed with high and massive walls similar to the famous Walls of Intramuros, which served as the center of power and activities of the Spanish friars who owned and administered the haciendas. Politically, however, Pandi was then a part of the town Balagtas (then Bigaa until its formal separation and independence on April 17, 1946.

Explore the BALAGTAS, BULACAN - Take a Walk Down MacArthur Highway!
The MacArthur Highway, officially the Manila North Road (MNR or MaNor), is a 684.855-kilometer (425.549 mi), two-to-six lane, national primary highway and tertiary highway in Luzon, Philippines, connecting Caloocan in Metro Manila to Aparri in Cagayan. It is the second longest road in the Philippines, after Maharlika Highway. It is primarily known as MacArthur Highway in segments from Caloocan to Urdaneta, Pangasinan, although it is also applied up to Ilocos Sur, and likewise called as Manila North Road for the entire length.

La Autopista MacArthur (R-9), antes de Manila North Road, es una carretera situada en la isla de Luzón en Filipinas que partiendo del Monumento Bonifacio en la ciudad de Caloocán llega hasta la provincia de La Unión, pasando por Metro Manila (Caloocan, Malabón y Valenzuela), las provincias de Luzón Central (Bulacán, Pampanga y Tarlac) y la Región de Ilocos (Pangasinán, La Unión, Ilocos Sur y Ilocos Norte).
La carretera lleva el nombre de militar estadounidense Arthur MacArthur, Jr. que fuera Gobernador General de Filipinas entre los años 1900 y 1901 durante al ocupación estadounidense de Filipinas. Fue MacArthur quien autoriza la expedición que dio captura del a Emilio Aguinaldo.

Let's take a detailed look on the North South Commuter Railway (NSCR) Project Phase 1, particular to contract package number 2 - which had been awarded by the government to Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Company LTD.
The project ground breaks on February 15, 2019. It is considered to be the first application of span by span segmental construction method in the Philippines. It is a 14-kilometer long viaduct with three stations, namely Balagtas, Guiguinto, and Malolos.
