Wiesbaden is a city in the western German state of Hesse. Its neoclassical Kurhaus now houses a convention center and a casino. The Kurpark is an English-style landscaped garden designed in 1852.
The red, neo-Gothic Market Church on Schlossplatz is flanked by the neoclassical City Palace, seat of State Parliament. Museum Wiesbaden displays expressionist paintings by Alexej von Jawlensky and natural history exhibits.

The Perfect Germany Road Trip | Bavaria, Mountains & Lakes Guide
Welcome back to Germany everybody! After visiting this beautiful country last year we have been planning our return trip - this time to German Bavaria to chase mountains and lakes
Where we stayed Haus Sonnenschein:
Our journey started in Bratislava, Slovakia where we boarded a bus to Vienna Airport, caught a flight to Stutgart, Germany and drove across the country towards Eibsee Lake - big travel day but so worth it for the views of Zugspitze Mountain.
After checking into our cute Airbnb we found a German pub serving pizza, crashed for the night and woke up to miserable weather. But we still wanted to conquer a German mountain here in the Bavarian Alps...it just happens to be Wank mountain...yep.
What a shocking day here in Germany - but so worth it!

WIESBADEN - Best German City to live in?
We visited Wiesbaden, Germany! This was both of our first time visiting this city. Wiesbaden is very close to Frankfurt with s-bahn access to the city and airport. Wiesbaden is along the Rhine River, although the city center is about a 15 minute drive north. Do you know the best place to enjoy a spa in Germany?
There are actually some famous spa towns, but one of the most popular is called Aachen.
The historic city of Aachen is known for its healing thermal waters and hot springs dating back to Roman times.
As someone from Japan, which is a hot spring paradise, I felt like I had to come to this city and try one of its renowned spas for myself.
However, I have to say that the experience was very different from Japan’s hot springs and caused me to have the biggest culture shock since arriving in Germany.
In this video, I’m going to share what I experienced in this German spa town.

Das traditionsreiche Moor- und Mineralheilbad Bad Schwalbach ist eine Stadt im Taunus nördlich des Rheingau. Sie ist gleichzeitig Kreisstadt des Rheingau-Taunus-Kreises. 2018 fand hier die hessische Landesgartenschau statt.
Die Reaktivierung der stillgelegten Bahnstrecke von Diez bei Limburg nach Wiesbaden ist in der Diskussion. Die rheinland-pfälzische Seite plant mittelfristig eine Wiederaufnahme des Betriebs ab Diez bis zu hessischen Grenze in Zollhaus. In Hessen wird die Reaktivierung der Bahn in Zusammenhang mit der Weiterführung bis nach Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof geprüft. Zur Zeit fährt in Hessen nur die Nassauische Touristikbahn. Diese ist seit November 2009 außer Betrieb, unter anderem, weil eine Brücke in Wiesbaden-Dotzheim wegen eines LKW-Aufpralls beschädigt wurde und wegen des schlechten Zustands der Gleisanlagen. Aartalbahn Die nächstgelegene Anschlussmöglichkeit an den SPNV ist Diez, hier verkehren folgende SPNV-Linien:
* Lahn-Eifel-Bahn (Limburg - Diez - Nassau - Bad Ems - Niederlahnstein - Koblenz - Andernach - Mendig - Mayen)
* Lahntal-Express (Koblenz - Niederlahnstein - Bad Ems - Diez - Limburg - Weilburg - Wetzlar - Gießen)
