Bagac is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Bataan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 31,365 people.
Bagac is located on the western side of Bataan which is 151 kilometeres from Manila and 27.82 kilometers away from Balanga, the provincial capital.
The town has the largest land area of 23,120 hectares representing 16.84% of the total Bataan area and covers 14 barangays.
Bagac is accessible through both land and water transportation. Ferry boats going to and from Manila are available at the Orion port.

La Casas Filipinas de Acuzar
Spanish colonial - era mansions located @ Bagac, Bataan.
Another one on my bucket lists of travels checked ✅️.
We started our journey from Mabalacat, Pampanga at 0500H (5 am), google map states that it is only an hour ride. We head up to SCTEX, exits Dinalupihan, ride along the provincial highway of Bataan passing the municipalities of Hermosa and the City of Balanga.
As we were on our tour inside Las Casas we rode on a horse drawn carriage (not the standard calesa we saw on Vigan City) it is more like a jeepney type look, the coachman or manong kutsero (carriage driver) also our tour guide shows and explains to us what were those old buildings are. The old structures were not only for tourist attractions but were also hotels, and not just your ordinary hotels, because if you are planning to have an overnight vacation, the price might surprise you as those accomodations ranges from 10k php (regular hotel look room) to a whooping 169k a night (old mansions, buong bahay). It was trully an unforgettable experience being there.
Day tour or walk-in lang po pala kami, hindi po kami nag-overnight. ????????.

Known as bahay na bato, the resort’s collection of Colonial buildings were chosen for the authenticity of their cultural, historical, and architectural features. They range in style from mansions to wooden stilt houses. As such, Ciudad Real de Acuzar makes the nation’s past come to life. Las Casas Filipinas is situated in Bagac, which is a small fishing village some 77 miles northwest of Manila in the province of Bataan. The resort is just a short drive away from countless cultural attractions that epitomize the Filipino heritage, such as the famous Mount Samat Shrine. Several prominent towns and cities are a few miles away, too, including Subic, Balanga, and Olongapo City.
