Археологические раскопки показали, что регион Бачка-Паланка был заселен еще в доисторические времена. Здесь были обнаружены предметы, относящиеся к каменному, бронзовому и железному веков. Также были найдены останки времен Римской империи.
В 1486 году впервые упоминается местность недалеко от города Илок: она называлась Илочка.
В начале 16 - го века, здесь находилась небольшая османская крепость под названием Паланка
В 1687 году Паланка стала австрийской, и здесь поселились православные сербы. В 1699 году турки покинули Паланку.

Рядом с городом находится Природный парк Тиквара. Здесь обитает около 150 видов птиц, из животных лисица и выдра.
Так же тут есть озеро Тиквара, которое соседствует с рекой Дунай.

Футог — посёлок городского типа, проживает около 20 000 тысяч человек.
Древние венгры на этой территории жили уже в 10 веке.
А первое поместье Футог, откуда и образовалось название, обосновала Семья Футаки в 14 веке
Дворец известен как дворец Котека, который был построен в 1777 году, графом Андрией Хадиком в стиле барокко, позже он продал его Графу Котеку.
Вдоль боковых фасадов расположены наземные пристройки, а правая сторона служила семейной часовней.
У Графа Котек и его жены Марии, не было детей, граф хотел оставить свой след, помогая другим, он построил приют Рудольфинум (1893 г.) и больницу с родильным отделением и домом для престарелых Марианум (1894 г.), так же он помог в строительстве Сербской Православной церкви, которую мы уже посмотрели и Католическую Церковь Сердца Иисуса.
А после Октябрьской революции он разрешил переселиться в свое имение, семьям белогвардейцев, подарив им целый подсобный дом.
Сейчас здесь Сельскохозяйственная школа и общежитие.
Церковь пресвятого сердца Иисуса
Что интересно, Граф Хадик первый владелец двоца, построил римско-католическую церковь и дом приходского священника, которые были снесены, а графиня Котек построила на их месте новую церковь, посвященную Сердцу Иисуса. Она была построена в псевдоготическом стиле в период с 1906 - 1908 годах, о чем гласит надпись, написанная готическим шрифтом на латыни, над главным входом.

PAČIR BANJA
Pačir banja se nalazi u Vojvodini, opština Bačka Topola, između Bajmoka i Stare Moravice.
Od Subotice je udaljena svega 30 km, od Novog Sada oko 90 km (1h vožnje), a od Beograda oko 180 km (2h vožnje).
Ova destinacija je bila potpuno nepoznata za turiste sve do 2014. godine, kada izgradnjom banje popularnost ovog mesta naglo raste. Najmlađa banja u Srbiji, jedinstvena je po svojim karakteristikama od sastava vode i lekovitosti, do neobično ružičaste boje jezera u letnjim mesecima.
IZGRADNJA BANJE
Izgradnja banje počela je bušenjem termalnog bunara 2008. godine (finansirano od strane Fonda za kapitalne investicije) ali zbog loše ekonomske situacije, nastavak radova se odlagao dugi niz godina.
Na kraju, stanovnici Pačira i sama mesna zajednica, preuzeli su inicijativu kakvu mnoga velika mesta nisu. To je jedan od razloga zašto meštani imaju popust kada ulaze u banju. Mesna zajednica na taj način želi da se zahvali svima njima, na nesebičnoj podršci u ostvarenju velikog cilja.
PACIR SPA
Pačir spa is located in Vojvodina, Bačka Topola municipality, between Bajmok and Stara Moravica.
It is only 30 km from Subotica, about 90 km from Novi Sad (1-hour drive), and about 180 km from Belgrade (2-hour drive).
This destination was completely unknown to tourists until 2014 when its popularity of this place grew rapidly with the construction of a spa. The youngest spa in Serbia, it is unique in its characteristics, from the composition of the water and medicinal properties to the unusual pink color of the lake in the summer months.
CONSTRUCTION OF THE SPA
The construction of the spa began with the drilling of a thermal well in 2008 (financed by the Capital Investment Fund), but due to the bad economic situation, the continuation of the work was delayed for many years.
In the end, the residents of Pacir and the local community itself took an initiative that many big places did not. That is one of the reasons why locals have a discount when entering the spa. In this way, the local community wants to thank all of them for their selfless support in achieving a great goal.

Located just few steps from the main pedestrian zone, Moneta Cafe is a great place where you can sit down, have various types of coffee, cocktails and all sorts of refreshing drinks. Moneta's garden is an ideal place for chit-chat and rest from all-day walking, shopping and sightseeing.
This is a nice place for relaxing during the daytime, but can also be a good choice for going out, since this cafe is known for interesting themed parties, such as cocktail and karaoke nights. Worth experiencing is their traditional December Sky & Snowboard Party.

BELA PALANKA, SERBIA (part 2) - subtitled
The municipality of Bela Palanka is located in southeastern Serbia on the territory of Pirot District. Bela Palanka is located at the edge of Sicevacka Gorge in Nis-Pirot direction.

Remesiana is the birthplace of the bishop, missionary, and church writer Nicetas of Remesiana (330-410), whose efforts helped the town become an episcopal. He was also the author of the famous Christian hymn Te Deum Laudamus (‘Thee, O God, We Praise’), which is still sung in churches today. It is worth noting that, inspired by this hymn, the French composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier wrote the music, which today accompanies the opening sequence of the Eurovision Song Contest.
At the very center of the present-day town one can find an archaeological site, the remains of a basilica from the Roman-Byzantine period, which was remodelled and adapted according to new needs in later epochs.
On the town square there is a monument from 202 AD dedicated to Roman Emperor Septimius Severus and his son Caracalla who passed through Remesiana on their return from the Orient to Rome.
During the construction works on Corridor 10, the archaeologists discovered a milestone which dates back to the early 3rd century A.D. The 2.4 meter-high stone column from the Roman period is well-preserved. On the very route of Corridor 10, the archaeologists also unearthed the remains of a villa speading on 25000 square meters from the same period.
The milestone was set up in 230 AD beside the main Roman military road Via Militaris during the rule of Roman Emperor Alexander Severus, the last ruler from the Severus dynasty, which ruled Rome for 42 years. The milestone shows the distance to Niš to be 22 miles, or 35 kilometres, corresponding to the present-day distance between the two places. A milestone is, incidentally, one of the rarest archaeological finds, since they were relatively few and were usually placed at crossroads and in places where travellers changed their tired horses.
Turkish Kale used to be Turkish town, during the Turks rule. The shape of the town was rectangular, it has two entrances (gates), and the city was built mostly of stone.
Rajko Mitic was a Serbian footballer, coach, executive and a journalist. He is considered as one of the most important footballers in the history of football team Red Star Belgrade. The Red Star stadium was renamed after him in December 2014. Rajko Mitic had the reputation of a true gentlman, on and off the field. He was born in the village Dolac near Bela Palanka, and his monument stands today at the entrance of Bela Palanka.
The heroes park “Vrelo” represents the most beautifull part of the town. The monument “Girl on the Rock” is dedicated to the beautiful girl Bela who sacrifieced her life to preserve the honor.
Malo Kurilo and Veliko Kurilo are hills within the massif Stranje. Both hills are positioned from two sides of Bela Palanka. The easiest way to reach the hill Veliko Kurilo is from the road Bela Palanka – Oreovac, or by going on the well-marked pedestrian path that starts from “Vrelo” in Bela Palanka and goes through the forest.
The old water mill from Turkish period was built at the end of the 18 century, during the rule of Turks. It was owned by Turk Afis Usein. After the liberation it was sold to the Zlatanovic famliy from Bela Palanka. The mill is still active.
The bridge from the Turkish period (1639 year) is the best preserved object from this period.
