Discovered 140 Years Old Church In Rajasthan | A Hidden Gem Of Bandikui | Charlie TV
Welcome to my first video from my hometown and this time, I discovered a hidden gem of Rajasthan. I visited Rajasthan’s oldest church which was built around 140 years ago in Bandikui, a small town located 97 km from Jaipur. In 1873, first railway station was built in Bandikui and then Britishers built this church after few years. The church has been vandalised and its ruined.

Stone Carving Work in Sikandra(Dausa, Rajasthan) | Bansi Paharpur Sandstone Crafting
85 km from Jaipur lies this place called Sikandra. On my recent visit to Dausa district of Rajasthan, I took a break to see the amazing Stone Carving work being done on the road sides here by hand and by machine. It can be seen on a stretch of 7-10 km in Sikandra area of the district.
On both sides of the road you will find dozens of craftsmen working day and night to make beautiful designs on the white and pink sandstone which comes from Bansi Paharpur near Bayana(Bharatpur District).
This stone has been used in construction of Swaminayan Akshardham of New Delhi, Ambedkar Parks in Noida and Lucknow and at many other well known temples and hotels in and outside India, not even that but people use them at their homes too. Although they are costly but for sure they can be called as a permanent value asset.
In this video, we have talked to a shop owner here and discussed about the pricing and a lot of other minute details which might be helpful for you.

बाँदीकुई की काली मूँगफली । Story of Black Peanuts | Hidden Taste of Rajasthan | Bandikui
Every small town has its story and sometimes it finds a way in their foods. I’m talking about the same in the town of Rajasthan. It’s a story of Black Peanuts famous in Bandikui, 92 kms away from Jaipur. It’s a modified version of peanut.
I met Kallu Captain who is running this business from a decade and every winter season, the town sells more than 800kg black peanuts. The process to a fine taste of this version of groundnut. They wash the basic groundnut in salt water and then leave it on their terras in sunny day. After 2-3 hours, they start the final process in a different masala and give it a good amount of heat until it turns black. It’s a story of hard work and giving peanuts a new version. It’s popular among all nearest towns. I would thank Deepanshu for handling my iPhone during this shoot.
यह जयपुर से 92 किलोमीटर दूर बांदीकुई में प्रसिद्ध काली मूंगफली की कहानी है। मैं कल्लू कैप्टन जी से मिला जो एक दशक से यह धंधा चला रहे हैं और हर सर्दी के मौसम में कस्बे में 800 किलो से ज्यादा काली मूंगफली बिकती है।
वे कच्ची मूंगफली को खारे पानी में धोते हैं और फिर धूप वाले दिन अपने छत पर छोड़ देते हैं।2-3 घंटे के बाद, वे एक अलग मसाले में अंतिम प्रक्रिया शुरू करते हैं और इसे अच्छी मात्रा में सेकते हैं जब तक कि यह काली न हो जाए। यह कड़ी मेहनत और मूंगफली को एक नया संस्करण देने की कहानी है।
