At the railway station in Békéscsaba Hungary. A station where it was so hard to find someone who speak English... It looks like Hungary got into Soviet Union not European Union (since the majority of population doesn't speak English, not even the young generation. You rather find someone who speak Russian.)
Driving Hungary: Route 46 & 47 Szolnok - Békéscsaba - 4k scenic drive East Hungary
Today we are exploring the east part of Hungary, while driving on the newly finished expressway M4, from the the capital city Budapest to Szolnok to the M3 motorway near Hatvan. It was a nice relaxing drive through the flatlands of Hungary, with wide open views of the hungarian Puszta. Enjoy!

Driving Hungary: 44 & M44 Gyula - Békéscsaba - Kecskemét - 4k drive through East Hungary
Today we are exploring the east part of Hungary, while driving on national road 44 and on the M44 expressway, from the hungarian/romanian border near Gyula to the M5 motorway at Kecskemét. It was a nice relaxing drive through the flatlands of Hungary, with some nice autumn colors. Gyula and Békéscsaba are very nice stops on the way with historical landmarks and big spa facilities. Day Trip to Gyula Spa, Castle and Palace in Hungary
Gyula in Hungary is a famous spa town with an important castle and palace in the city center. The castle has an astonishing history, defending the southern border of historic Hungary from the Turks in the 16th century. I visited Gyula in June 2017 for a day to see the local castle, palace and spa.

We made a two days trip to visit some Christmas Markets from Hungary. We stayed one night at Corso Lux Apartman from Gyula. The citys that we had checked, where: Gyula, Békéscsaba, Hódmezővásárhely, Szeged and Makó.
In Gyula we went to the Thermal Baths, Saturday night program from 8:00 p.m. Entrance fee 2200 HUF (6 Euro) per person.
