Buying a house can be hard. If you are thinking about California and don't need to be in one of the major cities, this list is for you.
Nobody wants a giant mortgage but in most of California, that is what you are going to get.
If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. Most of these videos are made to help people who are thinking about relocating, looking for real estate, or just wanting to learn about the United States. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. But, most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town, or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine, rainbows, and a bunch of smoke up your skirt. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, bail bondsmen, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will. And I will try and make it entertaining.

I think it is time to tackle a list I hinted at earlier this year and never got to. When I listed the worst towns in America I said I had to cut Southern California out because it had like 17 of the worst 20. When you suck that bad, you get your own list is the rule here.
A couple of things with this list. I say town but technically some are small cities. I am just cutting out the major cities like Los Angeles and San Diego proper. If I say cities in the title I will have a bunch of geography nerds jumping up my butt. I don’t like anything jumping up my butt especially geography nerds. Most of these are in the LA metro or LA county.
This is another list that has enough to make 3 videos, but we’ll start with one and see how it goes.
These are not places you want to buy real estate.

Warplanes Galore in Atwater, California - Part 10
Castle Air Museum hosts a lot of warplanes used in service from bomber, transport planes, jet planes and helicopters. I enjoyed looking at them especially those bombers used in WWII - B17, B24, B25 and B29. It takes an extreme amount of guts to man these planes especially if you are manning the ball turret. Exploring North Atwater Park and the La Kretz Bridge
Nestled along the Los Angeles River, North Atwater Park is a green oasis in the city's concrete jungle. It is also the home to the iconic La Kretz bridge, which is a cable-stayed steel pedestrian bridge that crosses the river, linking Griffith Park with Atwater Village.
In this episode, join us as we explore this hidden gem of a park and cross the bridge into Griffith Park, making new discoveries along the way.

Atwater Village is a neighborhood of Northeast Los Angeles city. Atwater Village is located about 20 min (7.3 mi) northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Atwater Village has a total area of 6.57 sq mi.
Atwater Village borders Griffith Park and Silver Lake to the west, city of Glendale to the north and east, and Glassell Park to the south. The eastern boundary is essentially the railroad tracks (originally, the Southern Pacific). Atwater Village is close to the Interstate 5, State Route 134, State Route 2 and State Route 110 freeways.
North Atwater Park
Much of Atwater Village lies in the east side of fertile Los Angeles River. Cross the Los Angeles River is Griffith Park. North Atwater Bridge located inside North Atwater Park. North Atwater Bridge, also known as the La Kretz Bridge or La Kretz Crossing, is a cable-stayed steel pedestrian bridge that crosses the Los Angeles River, linking Griffith Park with Atwater Village. North Atwater Bridge has a length of 325 feet and span of 35 feet. The bridge is noted for a white spire that rises 126 feet and uses 300,000 pounds of steel. It was completed in February 2019 and is the 2nd bridge crossing the Los Angeles River to be completed in the 21st century. The 300-foot-long, cable-stayed bridge is designed to carry pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians and not motor vehicles. North Atwater Bridge is one of the LA landmarks and tourist attractions. Free parking and admission are attractive to tourists too. North Atwater Park is also in Atwater Village Equestrian District, visitors often can see horse riders passing by.
Driving from LA city: Take Highway 101, turn into Highway 134, then State Route 2 exit 13B Fletcher Drive. After exit, turn right to Fletcher Drive and you arrive at Atwater Village.
