Kollapur region is an area spanning the Nallamala Forest area on the banks of the river Krishna in the Nagarkurnool district, in the state of Telangana India. The Someswara, Sangameswara, and Malleswara temples are in this region, with traces of architectural treasures from the 2nd century BC. Hundreds of ancient temples are visible in the area, mainly built over 1,500 years ago. Due to similar broad roads and surrounding tree plantations, people used to refer to Kollapur as Telangana Mysore (a reference to the larger city of Mysore).

Day 2 at Somasila was fun . As soon as we checked out from Riverfront Mrugavani Resort we went on a boat ride . After this , we got to see manchalakatta view point and we were lucky to find a boat there as well . Final thing was amaragiri island. This trip was all about feeling those places .

Aranya Resort gave us the best memories.
Amidst the forest, it is a very beautiful experience. Our stay at the Aranya resort was great, memorable, and exciting. We had a great time. It has very good ambience, indoor and outdoor activities, and view points. The swimming pool is small but good for spending time with family. Beautifully decorated near the entrance. The scenery was amazing. We enjoyed a lot.
