बांदा के टॉप-10 दर्शनीय स्थल || TOP-10 VISITING PLACES OF BANDA ||
बांदा के टॉप-10 प्रमुख स्थलों का विवरण इस प्रकार है-
1. भूरागढ़ का किला (BHURAGARH FORT)
केन नदी के किनारे, 17 वीं शताब्दी में राजा गुमान सिंह द्वारा भूरे पत्थरों से बनाए गए भूरगढ़ किले के खंडहर हैं। स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के दौरान यह स्थान महत्वपूर्ण था। इस स्थान पर एक मेला आयोजित किया जाता है, जिसे ‘नटबली का मेला’ कहा जाता है। किले से सूर्यास्त देखना एक सुंदर अनुभव है। भूरगढ़ किले का ऐतिहासिक महत्व महाराजा छत्रसाल के पुत्रों बुंदेला शासनकाल और हृदय शाह और जगत राय से संबंधित है।
2. नवाब टैंक (NAVAB TANK)
बांदा का नवाब टैंक बांदा शहर से लगभग 3 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित है। इस टैंक को बांदा के नवाब द्वारा बनाया गया है, और इसलिए इसे नवाब टैंक के रूप में जाना जाता है। यह टैंक अभी भी पानी और उपयोग से भरा है। टैंक के बीच नवाब के सिंहासन के लिए एक मंच है। कहा जाता है कि इस जगह से नवाब अपनी पत्नियों के साथ ‘कजली मेले’ का आनंद लेते थे। टैंक के पास दो और जगहें हैं: टैंक के सामने ‘वन विहार’ (वन अभियान) नामक एक पार्क है। फ्लोरा नर्सरी, प्रकृति की सुंदरता का आनंद लेने के लिए एक बहुत ही सुंदर जगह है। यइसी स्थान में ऑक्सीजन पार्क का भी निर्माण कराया जा रहा है.
3. केन जल आरती (KEN RIVER AARTI)
चित्रकूट के रामघाट की तर्ज पर बांदा में केन जल आरती का शुभारंभ वैदिक मंत्रोचार के बीच मंगलवार शाम हुआ। तत्कालीन डीएम हीरालाल ने कहा कि जल्द ही यमुना व बागैं नदी में जल आरती का शुभारंभ कराया जाएगा । केन नदी को बचाने की मुहिम में मंगलवार शाम डीएम हीरालाल समेत सभी जिलास्तरीय अधिकारी केन नदी में मूर्ति विर्सजन घाट पहुंचे। यहां विधि विधान से केन नदी की पूजा की गई। आटा व पत्तल के दिए बनाए गए जिनसे दीपदान किया गया। पहली बार बांदा में केन जल आरती का शुभारंभ हुआ है। डीएम ने इस मौके पर कहा कि नदियों के प्रति अपनत्व का भाव पैदा करने के लिए यह आरती की प्रक्रिया शुरू की गई है।
4.बांदा व्यू प्वाइंट (BANDA VIEW POINT)
यह स्थान 2019 में तत्कालीन जिलाधिकारी श्री हीरालाल महोदय द्वारा विकसित कराया गया है। यह बामदेवेश्वर पहाड़ में सबसे ऊंचे शिखर पर बनाया गया है । यहां जाने के लिए सीढ़ियां बनी हुई है। यह स्थान सूर्य दर्शन स्थल के रूप में भी जाना जाता है ।यहां से पूरे शहर का नजारा बड़ा ही मनोरम और दृश्य बड़े ही सुंदर दिखाई देते हैं। पहाड़ के पीछे केन नदी और सामने पूरा शहर दिखाई देता है।
5. महेश्वरी देवी मंदिर (MAHEHWARI DEVI TEMPLE)
शहर के चौक बाजार में स्थित यह मंदिर देवी शक्ति पीठों में एक है। यहां पर मां महेश्वरी पत्थर की शिला के रूप में प्रगट हुईं थीं। नित्य दर्शन को सैकड़ों की संख्या में लोग आते हैं। शारदीय व चैत्र नवरात्रि को यहां पर विशाल मेला लगता है। यहाँ उत्तर प्रदेश और मध्य प्रदेश से लोग माथा टेकने के लिए आते हैं।
6. बामदेवेश्वर मंदिर मंदिर (BAMDEVESHWAR MANDIR)
मंदिर का नाम बामदेव ऋषि से लिया गया है, जो राम के समकालीन के रूप में हिंदू पौराणिक कथाओं में वर्णित ऋषि थे। बामदेव के बारे में कहा जाता है कि वह एक पहाड़ी के किले में अपने आश्रम में रहते थे। उन्ही के नाम पर इस मंदिर और शहर का नाम बाँदा पड़ा।
7. संकट मोचन (SANKAT MOCHAN)
बांदा का संकट मोचन मंदिर रेलवे स्टेशन और बस स्टॉप के बिल्कुल पास है। मंदिर अत्यंत प्राचीन है जिसमें हनुमान जी की प्राकृतिक मूर्ति है। यहां मंगलवार और शनिवार को विशेष रूप से पूजा-पाठ अर्चना, गीत, गायन, कीर्तन आदि होता रहता है । मंदिर के बगल से ही कचहरी और जिलाधिकारी कार्यालय लगा हुआ है । मंदिर के सामने जहीर क्लब है,जहां पर प्रदर्शनी और मेले आदि का आयोजन होता है।
8. कालिंजर का किला ( KALINJAR KILA)
कालिंजर पहाड़ी की चोटी पर स्थित इस क़िले में अनेक स्मारकों और मूर्तियों का खजाना है। इन चीज़ों से इतिहास के विभिन्न पहलुओं का पता चलता है। चंदेलों द्वारा बनवाया गया यह क़िला चंदेल वंश के शासन काल की भव्य वास्तुकला का उदाहरण है। इस क़िले के अंदर कई भवन और मंदिर हैं। इस विशाल क़िले में भव्य महल और छतरियाँ हैं, जिन पर बारीक डिज़ाइन और नक्काशी की गई है। क़िला हिन्दू भगवान शिव का निवास स्थान माना जाता है। क़िले में नीलकंठ महादेव का एक अनोखा मंदिर भी है। कालिंजर के मुख्य आकर्षणों में नीलकंठ मंदिर है। इसे चंदेल शासक परमादित्य देव ने बनवाया था।
9. विंध्यवासिनी का मंदिर, खत्री पहाड़ ( VINDHYAVSINI TEMPLE, KHATRI PAHAD)
बुंदेलखंड के बांदा जनपद के एक गांव में ऐसा भी पहाड़ है जिसे देवी 'विंध्यवासिनी' द्वारा शापित पहाड़ माना जाता है। केन नदी के तट पर बसे शेरपुर स्योढ़ा गांव के खत्री पहाड़ की चोटी पर मां विंध्यवासिनी का मंदिर है। आम दिनों की अपेक्षा यहां नवरात्र में बड़ा मेला लगता है।
10. सिमौनी धाम (SIMAUNI DHAM)
पौराणिक मौनी बाबा की समाधि - स्थल, टोला कलां, बांदा जिला, बबेरू ब्लाक, उत्तर प्रदेश के बुन्देलखण्ड क्षेत्र में सबसे अधिक पवित्र तीर्थ स्थल में से एक माना जाता है। मौनी बाबा की पवित्र समाधि है। यहाँ भगवान हनुमान जी लेटी हुई 65 फुट की विशाल मूर्ति स्थापित है तथा शंकर भगवान की 85 फुट ऊँची विशाल प्रतिमा के साथ भगवान गणेश व नंदीश्वर की विशाल प्रतिमा भव्य मन्दिर प्रांगण में स्थापित है। प्रतिवर्ष इस पवित्र धाम में श्री श्री 1008 स्वामी अवधूत जी महाराज के सानिध्य में विराट मेला दिनांक 15, 16 व 17 दिसम्बर को लगता है।,#touristplacesofbanda,#bandavistingplaces,#bandatourism,

Atarra is located at 25.28°N 80.57°E[2] and has an average elevation of 124 m (407 ft). It lies on the Indo-Gangetic Plain. Nahar Canal passes nearby the town.[3]

As of 2011 census, the town had a population of 47,419 in 8,618 Households. The total population constitute, 25,098 males and 22,321 females with a sex ratio of 983 females per 1000 males. 4,533 children are in the age group of 0–6 years, of which 2,325 are boys and 2,208 are girls with a sex ratio of 889. The average literacy rate stands at 78.59 % with 32,215 literates of which, males were 18,996 while females were 13,219 and 15,204 Illiterates.[1]
Schedule Caste are with a population of 10,445 whereas Schedule Tribe had a population of 80.[4]

As per the report published by Census India in 2011, 14,367 people were engaged in work activities out of the total population of Atarra which includes 15,110 males and 5,461 females.
According to census survey report 2011, 11,939 workers describe their work as main work, 1,447 as Cultivators, 1,092 persons work as Agricultural labourers. 630 are working in Household industry and 8,770 are involved in other works. Of them 2,428 are Marginal workers.[1]
