Odense, eine hygellige tolerante Stadt im Süden von Dänemark. Gassen mit bunten Häusern, viel Natur und noch mehr Entspannung. Bereit für einen Wochenend-Trip? Odense in 5 Minuten.
Odense ist die Geburtsstadt von Hans Christian Andersen. Hier ist ihm ein ganzes Museum gewidmet – das H.C. Andersens Hus (Das Museum wurde 2021 geöffnet, nicht im Jahr 2022, wie im Video getextet). Ein Besuch lohnt sich. Besonders toll sind sowohl die moderne Holzarchitektur als auch die interaktive, audiogeführte Ausstellung zu Hans Christian Andersen und seinen Märchen.
Wenn du Hunger hast, dann empfehlen wir dir das Storms Pakhus. Storms Pakhus ist ein beliebter Ort, um Essen aus der ganzen Welt zu probieren. Ein richtiger Food Market. Die Atmosphäre ist echt hygellig. Der Markt hat jeden Tag bis 23 Uhr geöffnet, am Wochenende sogar noch länger.
Etwas außerhalb der Stadt liegt Odense Zoo, mit dem neuen 250 Meter langen Baumwipfelpfad und unzähligen Tieren. Ganz in der Nähe liegt „Den Fynske Landsby“. Das ist ein fünisches Dorf, in dem du alte Häuser besichtigen kannst und mehr über das frühere Leben in Dänemark erfährst.
Ein gutes Hotel ist das Odeon. Es liegt zentral und bietet ein leckeres Frühstück. Hier der Link zum Hotel: *

Fyn - small island, big adventure
Fyn is Denmark's third-largest island and a paradise for nature-lovers and adventurers!
In this video I will show you some cool places and activities on the island of Fyn. Watch me visit Odin's Odense, a village that makes you feel like living in the Iron Age. Then join me sleeping in a swimming shelter in Bogense.
We then continue travelling around the island counter-clockwise. Next stop is Middelfart where I experience a seaweed safari and walk through the stunning nature park of Lillebaelt.
Near Assens I stay at the Denmark Fishing Outdoor Lodge where my guide Christian is trying to teach me how to catch seatrout. Did I catch one?!
I then jump on an e-bike and cruise along the so-called 'Herrenhausroute' where you can see manor houses and castles and eat amazing smoked fish at Roegeri's Cafe.
Did you know that Fyn has vineyards? Neither did I! Join me visiting one before we travel through Fyn very slowly, in a waggon with horses.
In Svendborg we will visit their very special citizen who lives in the harbour. Last but not least, I will show you where to buy Danish specialities to take home with you.

Welcome to a little drive on the Danish island of Funen (Fyn). We're heading down cozy backroads, through a couple of villages and eventually end up at Kerteminde, a lovely seaside town that is one of my favourite places (partly due to a terrific ice cream place but also its beaches).

Helnæs is an island on the southwestern coast of Funen, Denmark, southwest of Haarby and northwest of Faaborg. It belongs administratively to Assens Municipality and is connected to the town of Assens by road to the north.Between Helnæs and the main island of Funen is Helnæs Bay, which contains the sprawling islands of Illumø, Horsehoved and Vigø to the southeast.[1] The principal settlement of Helnæs lies on the southeast coast, and contains the camping site Helnæs Camping to the north of it, although the historical village of Helnæs By is further to the north, inland. The highest point of the island is Galgebakke, at 29 feet (8.8 m).[2]

Struer city walk (first person walking) HD
A walk from the harbour area, along the railline and waterfront.
The town of Struer owes its growth to the railroad, which arrived in 1865 with Jutland's first railroad line from Århus/Randers over Viborg to Skive and Struer. Before its arrival Struer was a little town, that primarily functioned as a harbour for the residents of Holstebro; but after its arrival the town grew explosively into a big town, and eventually became one of Denmark's most important railway connection points. Although the station has been expanded several times, the central part of the wellmaintained building is one of Denmark's oldest stations. One of the oldest station buildings now house the administration and science labs of Struer statsgymnasium, one of the few Danish schools that offer the International Baccalaureate program.
Struer received privileged status as a merchant town in 1917.
Until the end of the 1960s Struer station served as the headquarters for the central West Jutland administration of DSB, Danske Statsbaner (Danish State Railways). More than 300 DSB employees still work in Struer today.
Bang & Olufsen, Denmark's only radio/TV manufacturer today, is the town's most important business, and they employ almost a third of the town's population. The business started in 1925 in Svend Olufsen's old family farm, Quistrup, just south of the town. At the Struer Museum, there is a new large exhibition, where old and new B&O products are displayed together with many pieces of famous Danish design furniture.
