Armavir, Armenia, Driving Tour, 4K 60fps
Armavir (Armenian: Արմավիր), is a town and urban municipal community located in the west of Armenia serving as the administrative center of Armavir Province. It was founded in 1931 by the government of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic. As of the 2011 census, the population of the town is 29,319, declined from 46,900 reported at the 1989 census. Currently, the town has a population of 37,053 as per the 2019 official estimate.
The town was known as Sardarabad before 1935, and Hoktemberyan from 1935 to 1995. Currently, Armavir is the seat of the Diocese of Armavir of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Армавир является крупным центром культурного, научного и промышленного развития. Через него проложены Владикавказская и Армавир-Туапсинская железные дороги, образуя мощный железнодорожный узел с двумя вокзалами – Армавир-Ростовский и Армавир-Туапсинский. Кроме железнодорожного транспорта в городе действуют автобусные и троллейбусные маршруты. Ближайший аэропорт находится в Ставрополе (110 км), а морской порт – в Туапсе (250 км).
Армавир открывает ворота к курортам черноморского побережья. Климат данной местности характеризуется как умеренно-континентальный, с самым жарким месяцем – июлем, и самым прохладным – январем. Летом средняя температура воздуха составляет +23-25 градусов, зимой -1-2 градуса. Сильные ветры, как и продолжительные ливни здесь редкое явление. Благодаря водам реки Кубань и притока Уруп воздух даже в самые жаркие дни мягкий и влажный. Восточную сторону города окружает урупский лес, сосновые, дубовые, кленовые и другие посадки обогащают воздух кислородом и лечебными фитонцидами. Лучше всего отдыхать здесь в июне, августе, сентябре и октябре.

Gyumri (Armenian: Գյումրի, pronounced [ɡjumˈɾi]), is an urban municipal community and the second largest city in Armenia, serving as the administrative centre of Shirak Province in the northwestern part of the country. By the end of the 19th century, when the city was known as Alexandropol,[a] it was one of the largest cities of Russian-ruled Eastern Armenia with a population similar to that of Yerevan.
