This weekl I visit the town of Arklow in County Wicklow Ireland.
Arklow is a town in County Wicklow on the southeast coast of Ireland. The town is overlooked by Ballymoyle Hill. It was founded by the Vikings in the ninth century. Arklow was the site of one of the bloodiest battles of the 1798 rebellion. Its proximity to Dublin led to it becoming a commuter town with a population of 13,163 as of the 2016 census.

Low levels of development and pollution in Ireland have left most of the nation's open spaces relatively undisturbed.
Did you know that there are no wild snakes in Ireland?
The sea has stopped many animals common on mainland Europe from reaching the island.
There are also only two wild mouse species, one type of lizard, and just three kinds of amphibians.
Irish wildlife is protected by government conservation programs.
To preserve natural habitat,
the government has established six national parks and hundreds of national heritage areas throughout the country.

48 HOURS IN IRELAND - Exploring Ireland's Best Kept Secret Town and Wicklow Mountain driving????????
About an hour drive outside of Dublin is the Wicklow Mountains. After our hike and adventure in Bray, we booked a night at a traditional country house. Join us on this driving tour, walking tour, and travel vlog through the Irish countryside. We'll check out a village church, roam the grounds of a beautiful manor, and then venture to Arklow - Ireland's best kept secret for a bite to eat.
For tourists who want to get out of Dublin and see the real country part of Ireland this would be a great overnight trip.
