This is a special place: a small town with a walking friendly historic center, beautiful city parks along Nabão River, squares surrounded by churches... and - standing at the top of a hill - the AMAZING Convent of Christ of Tomar, UNESCO World Heritage since 1983.
I hope you enjoy learning everything about Tomar, and knowing about my TOP 5 places there! I am thinking about doing TOP 5's of other parts of Portugal as a monthly video, so let me know if there is some place special you would like to learn about.

Arcos de Valdevez, localiza-se no Alto Minho, no vale do Rio Vez, um afluente do Rio Lima. Durante os meses de verão naturalmente mostra toda a sua vida; este ano com o colorido de balões e toldos, que ajudam a sombrear um pouco as ruas do centro, tornando-as mais frescas e alegres. Arcos de Valdevez is a town in the north of Portugal at the border with Galicia (Spain). It is part of the National Park of Peneda-Geres. The town has approximately 25,000 citizens. Arcos de Valdevez played an important role in the independence of Portugal. It was fortified in the Middle Ages with a castle Paco da Giela to protect the area against a Spanish invasion.

Os Arcos- Best Portuguese restaurant in Albufeira, Portugal
Best service ever. Great ambience, can sit out and dine outdoors. We tried octopus a lagareira, grilled chicken for the kiddo, and fish cataplana (popular seafood dish in the Algarve). Affordable, and a great dining experience. Best octopus we ever had. Highly recommend!
