Arco, Northern Italy.
With its 15,000 inhabitants the town of Arco is located north of Lake Garda, thanks to which it features a gentle mild climate. The town of Arco is surrounded by a number of rocky mountains and thus known as a popular climbing area. In the centre of the town you will find numerous climbing halls. In fact, for the past 20 years now the so-called “Rock Master” has been organized, an international free climbing cup attracting climbers from all over the world.
Arco is a great place also for mountain bikers and cyclists, as the surrounding area is ideally-suited to this kind of sports. Here, at the heart of the mountains, you can enjoy nature with all its pleasures.
Those walking up the fortified quarter of Arco and across a grove of olive trees, will finally reach the mighty walls of Castello di Arco.

Arco is a comune in Trentino-Alto Adige in northern Italy.
The town is faced on one side by sheer limestone cliffs jutting up like a wall protecting it and its ancient hilltop castle.
King Francis II of the Two Sicilies died here in 1894.

The Castello di Arco, medieval castle
Sanctuary and convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, built in 1475–1492. It houses a wooden statue of the Virgin Mary dating to the 15th century
Collegiata dell'Assunta, begun in 1613. Francis II, the last King of Two Sicilies, was provisionally buried here in the late 19th century, after his death at Arco in 1894.
Church of Sant'Apollinare, with 14th-century frescoes
Palazzo Marchettii (16th century). It has a portal attributed to Giulio Romano.
