Il treno nn ha percorso la Galleria di Base del Ceneri
S40 TILO Varese-Como-Varese
Con l'attivazione nel 2018 della nuova tratta Arcisate-Stabio di 3,6 km, unitamente al raddoppio della ferrovia fra Induno Olona e il Bivio Bevera che accede alla nuova infrastruttura e al tronco per Porto Ceresio, venne attivato il collegamento Varese-Como via Chiasso a cadenzamento orario. Inizialmente il servizio era programmato sull'intera settima, in seguito ridotto ai soli giorni feriali, fermo restando la possibilità di coincidenza a Mendrisio con i treni della S50 Malpensa-Biasca. L'esercizio è svolto dal personale TILO con capo treno Trenord per le tratte di competenza italiane. Un unicum è rappresentato dall'abilitazione del sistema di sicurezza italiano SCMT già in partenza da Mendrisio verso Varese.
Lago di Lugano, Porto Ceresio e Rientro in Sicilia!
Dopo aver lasciato il lago di Como ci troviamo a Besano in provincia di Varese al confine tra Italia e Svizzera, esattamente da gli zii di Sonia, e con loro nel pomeriggio andiamo a vedere il lago di Lugano detto anche Ceresio, un lago prealpino della regione Lombardia. Il giorno dopo riusciamo anche a fare un bel pick-nik sul lago di Ghirla, un piccolo lago italiano di origine glaciale, situato sempre nel territorio lombardo ad un altitudine di 442 metri sul livello del mare, con una profondità massima di 14 metri.
il giorno dopo è già tempo dei saluti...si ritorna a casa, andiamo a Livorno pre prendere la nostra solita nave che ci porterà di nuovo in Sicilia.

La S40 TILO collega Como S. Giovanni sul lago di Como con Varese. Inizia e finisce in Italia, ma passa attraverso la Svizzera nel suo percorso. Pertanto, il confine viene attraversato due volte. Di conseguenza, vengono fatti molti annunci sul passaggio della frontiera. A Mendrisio, la direzione è cambiata. La linea corre tra Mendrisio e Varese sulla nuova linea FMV, inaugurata nel 2018.

ABRUZZO ITALY - SPAGHETTI VONGOLE in Isole Tremiti Puglia
There is nothing quite as magical as having an entire island all to yourself. Today's destination is an incredible natural wonder and will take your breath away.
The day starts on a small port where we enter our own cabin for breakfast, order a morning coffee and of course a sweet to kick off the journey.
We then give up our shoes and are helped on to a beauty, a yacht, exclusively for the group and just perfectly sized.
We set off on a trip to Tremiti Islands Puglia (Isole Tremiti) and once we arrive at the first stop for the day, there is absolute beauty everywhere. Few waste time and splash straight into the water while others head to the top of the deck for a view which will leave you speechless.
The rest of the day of spent stopping at some of our favorites spots along the water where we even get a sneaky trip inside beautiful blue grottos. But the highlight is enjoying fresh oysters, scampi and slowly cooked spaghetti vongole right aboard the vessel, where the captain, doubles as a chef!
A day on the water and basking in the sun where the infinite horizon brings peace and relaxation is not only good for the soul, but also got some of our guests up and dancing (and singing, AND canon-balling into the water!)

Viaggiamo a bordo del FLIRT TILO ETR 524.113 fra Varese e l'Aeroporto di Malpensa, andata e ritorno. Il treno proviene da Biasca attraverso la nuova linea transfrontaliera Stabio-Arcisate. Fino a Varese è condotto da personale TILO abilitato alla circolazione su RFI. Da Varese il treno è preso in carico dal personale di Trenord. Da Busto Arsizio RFI il treno percorre il Raccordo X, quello che un tempo era chiamato transito fra le due amministrazioni ferroviarie, mette in comunicazione lo scalo bustocco con la rete di FNM afferente alla stazione di Busto Arsizio Nord oggi sotterranea. Dopo una sosta a Malpensa il treno riparte in direzione Varese con destinazione Airolo, località alpina ai piedi del San Gottardo, al portale sud della omonima galleria.

This line is heavily trafficked by trans-alpine freight traffic but is also served (infrequently) by TILO passenger trains. The TILO network is a 50/50 joint venture between SBB and Trenord and serves canton Ticino in Switzerland and surrounding areas of northern Italy.

Secondo video-Treno Bernina Express o trenino rosso del Bernina. 1 - sul viadotto elicoidale di Brusio (alt.780 m.s.l.m) (Svizzera) - 2 - presso Stazione di Miralago sul Lago di Poschiavo (Svizzera) (alt.962 m.s.l.m.). Ferrovia del Bernina a scartamento ridotto 1000 mm. Lunghezza 61 km.
Brusio: il viadotto di forma elicoidale, di 70 metri di raggio e interamente visibile per tutto il suo sviluppo, permette di guadagnare, in uno spazio molto ristretto con una pendenza costante del 70‰, la trentina di metri di quota necessari per raggiungere la stazione di Brusio.
Miralago: provenendo da Tirano, raggiunta la stazione di Miralago, la linea ferroviaria costeggia il lago di Poschiavo offrendo una spettacolare vista panoramica sul lago e la valle, che in questo punto si apre completamente.
