Room tour, Accommodation @ Mount Arayat National Park and Resort Pampanga, Philippines
Bring snack, drinking water and food but liquors not allowed inside the national park. Villas and the guest houses don't have refrigerator so bring your own coolers, ice chest and water jugs. Rooms with aircon, no hot and cold shower, uses pail and dipper. Bring toiletries, towels and kitchen utensils etc., they only provide the beds, blankets and pillows.

DECEMBER 4, 2010—It rained hard in Metro Manila the day and the whole night before, and what was supposed to be a relatively big group of 12-20 day hikers whittled down to six.
As it turned out, it had not rained in Mt. Arayat in the past 2 days so the trail was already relatively dry and it was a very fair day—not too hot and not raining either—for hiking!
The five brave souls who hiked to the peak of Mt. Arayat with me that day included my very good friends from the Boy Scout of the Philippines — the kickass hiking tandem of Sophie Castillo and Derek Evangelista. Derek's brother Franz, an avid hiker himself, also joined our small group. And then of course my own adventure buddy during that time, Sherwin De Jesus and his namesake (but much more complicatedly spelled), his son Zscherween.
