San Marco in Lamis is a town in the province of Foggia in the Apulia region of southeast Italy. It is located on the Gargano peninsula, an isolated mountain massif at the spur of the Italian boot. San Marco in Lamis is part of the Gargano National Park, a protected area founded in 1991, that is mainly covered by forest (the so-called Foresta Umbra).
Apart from some tourism connected to pilgrimages at the local Catholic sanctuary of St. Matthew, the economy is mostly based on agriculture.

In this video, we are going for a walk to one of the main places where thousands of pilgrims tend to bow and pray to the relics of Padre Pio. A beautiful Italian village San Giovanni Rotondo hidden high among the mountains of Gargano in Puglia. San Giovanni Rotondo was the home of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina from 28 July 1916 until his death on 23 September 1968. The Padre Pio Pilgrimage Church was built in devotion to the saint and dedicated on 1 July 2004. The town is renowned for its hospital and medical-research centre Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza (Home for the Relief of the Suffering) founded by Saint Pio of Pietrelcina.

Ostuni, la città bianca del Salento ( Brindisi - Puglia - Italy )
Ostuni è un comune italiano di circa 31.000 abitanti della provincia di Brindisi in Puglia, situata nel Salento.

Noto centro turistico, è detta anche la città bianca per via del suo caratteristico centro storico che nei tempi passati era interamente dipinto con calce bianca.
Ostuni sorge su tre colli ad un'altezza di 218 metri s.l.m.. È situato a 8 km dalla costa adriatica. La Murgia, sulle cui propaggini sud orientali si trova la città, è una zona carsica costituita essenzialmente da calcari cretacei. È perciò una zona piuttosto arida e priva di corsi d'acqua: al loro posto le cosiddette lame, letti torrentizi a carattere stagionale, dai solchi poco profondi e dalle pareti ripide. Altra caratteristica geologica del territorio sono le gravine, dei burroni carsici.
Le attività economiche più importanti sono il turismo e l'agricoltura, soprattutto ulivi e viti. Importanti e numerose le presenze di strutture dette masserie, ovvero antiche fattorie fortificate presenti sia nella selva ostunese che nella marina, dove si svolgeva l'attività agricola dei grossi proprietari terrieri.
Ostuni presenta un clima prettamente mediterraneo, tipico delle zone dell'estremo nord salentino e della bassa murgia; tuttavia presenta tratti continentali. Gli inverni sono relativamente rigidi con temperature che possono scendere anche di alcuni gradi sotto lo zero nelle giornate più fredde, ed estati particolarmente calde con valori che possono raggiungere i +40 °C nei giorni più caldi.
