Top 8 Things to Do in Capri, Italy
Here are my top things to do in Capri, Italy! Capri island is one of the most famous Italian islands. There are many sights to see such as at the summit of Monte Solaro - the 589 meter peak is the highest point on the island. Giardini di Augusto (Gardens of Augustus) has spectacular views of the Faraglioni and the Spiaggia di Marina Piccola, the warmest beach on the island. You have to explore the town of Capri, and shop around at Carthusian and grab some limoncello along the way. There are so many notable points of interest including the Via Krupp, Villa Jovis, Villa San Michele, Blue Grotto, Punta Tragara, and others not mentioned. This island will surely have something for everyone - certainly a destination to visit on your next trip!

In May 2022 we did a 7 days trip to the islands of the Gulf of Naples, in Campania, Italy. We visited the authentic and colourful Procida, the interesting and lively Ischia, and the famous and spectacular Capri.

Although we often like to avoid the obvious choice, when doing our travel research we saw it was impossible not choosing Capri. And we were not disappointed! This video shows the walking tour we did in the island from the harbor in Marina Grande up to Capri town and its charming narrow streets. Then passing through the less crowded but equally cute Ana Capri and the walking trail back to the harbor from where we took an afternoon boat trip to explore the island's shore.

The high point (pun intended) is the chair lift to the top of Monte Solaro, the highest point of the island. You’re greeted by breathtaking views down to the Faraglioni rocks and super yachts scattered offshore.
