Some of the most fun things available for tourists to do while visiting Anna Maria Island include checking out the island’s numerous beaches, visiting the Beach Market at Coquina Beach, and checking out the finely preserved natural beauty of Egmont Key State Park. Anna Maria Island is home to a handful of staggeringly beautiful beaches, with two of the most popular being Holmes Beach and Coquina Beach. Holmes Beach is the more popular of the two thanks to its accessibility and plethora of fun attractions, while Coquina Beach offers a bit more seclusion and natural beauty.

Coquina Beach is also home to a pretty awesome market, which is typically open two days a week. These two days can change depending on the time of year, but the market is always worth a visit if it’s open on a day when you’re available! Finally, Egmont Key State Park is only accessible by boat, and it offers tourists visiting Anna Maria Island the chance to get away from it all and see some of the most beautiful Floridian scenery around. From visiting one of the island’s beautiful beaches to venturing into the uniquely secluded paradise of Egmont Key State Park, join ViewCation as we take a look at some of the best things to do on Anna Maria Island, Florida.

The Mutter Museum is the finest example of medical history on display. If you aren’t easily grossed out you can see Albert Einstein’s brain, a 40-lb colon, and actual pressured human faces. The museum helps the public understand the mysteries and beauty of the human body and to appreciate the history of diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Elfreth’s alley is 300 years of history all in one street. This street actually wasn’t included in the original plans for the city, but was instead created as a cart path for merchants to travel as Philly began to grow. It became a national landmark in the 1960s, and is now kind of an outdoor museum.

Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens is the brain child of Isaiah Zagar and is a non-profit museum highlighting the influences of his life. Magic Gardens inspires creativity and community engagement by educating the public about folk, mosaic, and visionary art.

Candytopia is the closest thing to what's it's like to visit Willy Wonka's factory. The Philadelphia location is one of three locations in the U.S. Tickets can be purchased through their website.

Philly has a number of great piers and waterfront attractions down by the Delaware River. Race Track Pier, Blue Cross RiverRink, Spruce Street Harbor Park and Cherry Street Pier highlight the best spots near Penn's Landing. Visit Philly's webpage for more information.

[4K] BOSTON TRAVEL - Walking Tour Downtown Boston, Washington Street & State Street, Massachusetts

[4K] BOSTON TRAVEL - Walking Tour Downtown Boston, Washington Street & State Street, Massachusetts, Old State House, Commercial Districts, Old South Meeting House, USA, Travel, 4K UHD
#Boston #Massachusetts #DowntownBoston

Downtown Boston is the central business district of Boston, Massachusetts, United States. The city of Boston was founded in 1630. The largest of the city's commercial districts, Downtown is the location of many corporate or regional headquarters; city, county, state and federal government facilities; and many of Boston's tourist attractions. Similar to other central business districts in the U.S., Downtown has recently undergone a transformation that included the construction of new condos and lofts, renovation of historic buildings, and arrival of new residents and businesses. It is represented in the Boston City Council by District 2's Bill Linehan.
Downtown is bound by the Back Bay, North End, Beacon Hill, and the South End areas. It includes Government Center and the Financial District.

The area that is now Downtown Boston constituted much of the town/city proper prior to the city's dramatic expansion in the 1860s and 1870s. The Great Boston Fire of 1872 destroyed much of the neighborhood, especially between Summer, Washington, and Milk Streets. In the 1950s the Central Artery highway began operating, until the Big Dig (1982-2007) relocated it underground. In the 1960s and 1970s the enormous new Government Center complex replaced Scollay Square.

Landmarks in Downtown Boston include the Greenway, Custom House Tower, City Hall, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, Old State House, Old South Meeting House, Massachusetts State House, Park Street Church, Boston Common, and Boston Public Garden.
Educational institutions located downtown include Emerson College and Suffolk University.
The four MBTA subway lines converge in the downtown area at the Downtown Crossing, Park Street, Government Center, and State stations. South Station is a transportation hub with subway, commuter rail, intercity bus, and Amtrak service.

2011: The Year of The EF5

EF5s. Rising to the top of the Enhanced Fujita Scale, EF5s are the most powerful classification a tornado can possibly get and their destructive power is incredible. With estimated winds in excess of 200mph, EF5s are the most violent wind storms on planet Earth, and are capable of leveling everything in their path, tossing cars hundreds of yards, and carving deep scars into the ground. They are the kings of our skies and one of the most destructive forces on our planet.

Since the implementation of the Enhanced Fujita Scale in 2007 there have been a total of 9 Tornadoes that have officially reached this terrifying metric. Remarkably 6 of them are from one year alone..
This is the story of one of the most violent years for tornadoes in modern history. 2011: The Year of The EF5.

This video discusses the 6 EF5s that occurred during 2011 tornado season in chronological order including:
Philadelphia MS EF5
Phil Campbell-Hackleburg AL EF5
Smithville MS EF5
Rainsville AL EF5
Joplin MO EF5
El Reno-Piedmont OK EF5

EF Scale explanation:
EF0 Light Damage (65-85mph)
EF1 Moderate Damage (86-110mph)
EF2 Considerable Damage (111-135mph)
EF3 Severe Damage (136-165mph)
EF4 Devastating Damage (166-200mph)
EF5 Incredible Damage (201mph+)

Gdansk, Poland - What to Do and See | The Best Things in Gdansk (Most Colorful Town in Poland)

This video is about Gdansk, Poland - What to Do and See | The Best Things in Gdansk (Most Colorful Town in Poland)

Gdansk Poland is a small port city located in the Northern Poland right on the coast of the Baltic Sea. Before coming to Gdansk, it was difficult for me to imagine what the city would be like. For sure, I thought that there will be similarities with other Baltic countries, but the more I explored the city, the more I was surprised.

The Old Town is one of the most famous and must visit tourist attractions here. This place was carefully reconstructed after being flattened in World War II and has many similarities with other old towns in cities such as Amsterdam and Bruges to name a few. With brilliant red tile roofs of colorful houses and buildings, the Old Town from Gdansk is famous across Europe. This is probably one of the 3 old towns in Europe that I feel most excited about.

Hard to image that after the 2nd World War, only 37 buildings remained in the Old Town and almost 90% of all the houses and streets were destroyed by the Germans under Hitler. It took the Polish countrymen several decades to restore the old town and what we see today is a fine example of their perseverance, their national pride, their will and their efforts. I have huge respect for this country and it's people, I've been fortunate to meet many of them thanks to my work and also with travel! If possible, you should go to the old town in the morning. Around 8 AM, there are still quite a few people, but snapping photos on the street is much easier and more convenient than, let's say, late afternoon on a sunny day.

Unlike other major cities in Poland that are known for having the quintessential Market Square, Gdansk has a Long Market i.e. a long wide open pedestrian street which is lined with shops, restaurants, and more!

Gdansk’s history is associated with amber because the city thrived on the export of this luxury item throughout Europe. And the Mariacka road is a clear example of that period of great prosperity in Gdansk. Along both sides of the street are many souvenir shops specializing in amber related items.

Gdansk is known as the amber capital of the Baltic Sea region as the majority of amber stones wash up along the beaches. The embankment and harbour area of Gdansk was one of my favourite spots in the city. No matter the time of the day, it always seemed bustling with people and energy. There is a fairly large shopping mall located right opposite the old town. So, be it shopping or a stroll, the spot got you covered!

For food, Gdansk offers a lot of variety, from Polish traditional cuisine to Asian cuisine or fast food. Spending equivalent to $5 and you already have a pretty good meal. Eating out in Gdansk is inexpensive and delicious. Part way down the riverside you’ll notice a large unusual looking building overhanging the waterfront. This was the largest crane in medieval Europe and was used to load and unload ships. It is said that the crane could lift items weighing up to 2000kg.

In the port area, the Artus Court building with the Neptune fountain is considered the second symbol of Gdansk. This famous tourist place is the most concrete proof of the port city’s heroic past. I was here both during and after renovation! The Neptune Fountain is one of the most recognizable symbols of Gdansk located in the heart of the Old Town.

Many tourists that visit Gdańsk spend their entire time in the Old Town area, visiting museums and learning all about the history but forget that Gdańsk has a nature cover, a lot of it!

Also, Gdansk has beautiful, clean beaches, thanks to the ecological efforts of recent years. Sopot probably is the most popular beach area of them all.

Eating the famous Bill's Hamburgers Amory, MS | Her FIRST BURGER?.. + Milkshakes | Keeping it SIMPLE

Bill's Hamburgers is a local hamburger joint that has been around since 1929! It is located in Amory, MS, and famous for its simply crafted hamburgers! This place isn't fancy by any means! It thrives on its old-school charm and simple personality. The same goes for the food! Barstools surround the cooks where you can order and eat your food while having a conversation. This is a place Samantha shared many memories with her dad growing up and even though she had not been in to grab a burger in over a decade, the place felt just the same as it did all those years ago. Not to mention, it's the first hamburger she has tasted in well over ten years! Let's just say, she will be back for more hamburgers and onion rings in the very near future! Of course, Wade has tasted many burgers over the years and he says there is nothing like a bill's hamburger! If you have ever had the pleasure to enjoy a nice hamburger from bill's, you will know what we are talking about. And if not, you definitely should make this a must-do stop if you are ever in North Mississippi! Just make sure you don't try to go on a Sunday.

States With The Most Young People

Some states in the U.S. face an aging population issues. But there are others that have a large percentage of young people. Sometimes that's due to a high birthrate, sometimes it's because the state draws in young families with different programs, and sometimes it's due to a concerted effort by local leaders to attract new people. In this video, we're taking a look at the 10 states with the largest percentage of residents under the age of 18.
