We are both major Tequila fans, we might even go as far as saying it’s our favorite liquor! Serve us up a margarita loaded with some tequila and we are in heaven. So of course when in Guadalajara we couldn’t miss the opportunity to go straight to the source. We visited Tequila, Jalisco the birthplace of Tequila and will rave about it for a while.
We’ve been on tequila tours before in Cancun and Mazatlan, but we were able to experience more than just a tasting here. We give a rough guide to follow, from how to get there to where to go, how much it costs and what to expect. Feel free to use this guide for your next trip to TEQUILA!
We eat breakfast overlooking the beautiful Church and then drink quite a bit of Tequila. There are two distilleries that we visit in today’s vlog and we would recommend them to all our friends and family! We had an amazing experience, but watch the vlog to see for yourself!

Todos los sábados por la tarde, el tren de pasajeros Tequila Express pasa por Amatitán. Puedes comprar un boleto en su pagina ( En el momento de publicación de este video, cuestan 1250 pesos. Si deseas una cata de Tequila, el precio sube 120 pesos a 1370, y si deseas visitar el pueblo de Tequila, son 1330 pesos. (No me pagaron por promocionarlos)
Y de veras que vale la pena conocer este lugar, aunque lo que te mostraré en este video no todo está accesible por tren o por auto normal.
El paisaje de los campos de cultivo de Agave en las afueras de Amatitán es un patrimonio de la humanidad de la Unesco. En el camino a la antigua fábrica de Tequila Santa Rita, puedes apreciar una hermosa cascada que entra en la barranca creada por el Rio Santiago, que nace desde el estado de Mexico y desemboca en Nayarit.

Evan and I did a full day guided tour in Amatitán and Tequila. It included transportation between Guadalajara and Tequila, a tequila tasting and tour at Tres Mujeres, a tour of Amatitan Caves, and a tequila tasting in Amatitan.

I shot everything on my iPhone 7 and also used a FY Feiyu Tech G4 Pro gimbal.
This is my first travel video that I finally got around to edit. I still need to get used to filming and being in the moment while traveling. I consistently forgot to film.

The tour was very informative and I was highly impressed by how well kept the entire place was; corner to corner, bathrooms included.
