Former agricultural airfield with 400 x 20 m runway. In average condition, some bushes on the runway and trees at THR 28 and THR 10. Asphalt seems quite good for operations.
Low pass Aizpute airfield [5642N02137E] RWY 15
Former agricultural airfield in Western Latvia. 400 x 20 m strip of tarmac in average condition, however, beware of stones at THR RWY 15 or branches at THR RWY 33. May be usable in case of urgency or emergency as practically no obstacles around, if want to visit area then Cirava airfield is just few miles away.

SIA Aloja-Starkelsen located in northern Latvia is one of the world's largest potato starch producers. Established in 1991, it was the first Latvian food company who received foreign capital, in that case from a Swedish farming cooperative. The company is also producing other food sorts like Aloja kissel, baking powder and vanilla sugar and it is processing organic grey peas and broad beans. With this wide range of non-gluten, organic, vegan raw food materials, Aloja-Starkelsen has reached the whole globe, which a proportion of 80 % of their products being exported to Europe, Northern America, and Asia.

Former agricultural airfield in Aloja town. Runway was non-standard 600 x 20 m long asphalt, unfortunately now as a part of the road, in moderate condition. May keep in mind as an emergency diversion site if EVLI (Limbaži-Langači) is too far. THR 01 houses are quite close, that's the only obstacle there.

Touch and go Limbaži [EVLI] RWYs 16L and 16R
One of few ex-agricultural airfields still certified in Latvia. Two parallel runways where one is 400 x 20 m strip extended as grass for 300 m more [RWY 16R] and 700 x 30 m grass runway as 16L. It is a tricky airfield to fly due to slope, hill in approx. 1/3 of it and trees. Please take a look in AIP of Latvia before flying over there as RWY 34 TORA is 472 m only with upslope and grass.

Lutera Tornakaina Lutheran Church
Completed in 1891, this neo-gothic church was belatedly built to commemorate the birth of Martin Luther 1483-1546 founder of Latvias most popular faith. Although its yellow brick façade, soaring steeple and imposing location atop a hill are all impressive, the churchs main claim to fame is its beautiful timber ceiling. The Tornakaina cemetery is located next to the church.
