Ελάτε να πετάξουμε πάνω από την Αλεξανδρούπολη πόλη της Θράκης και πρωτεύουσα της Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Έβρου.
Είναι η μεγαλύτερη (σε έκταση και πληθυσμό) πόλη της Θράκης και της περιφέρειας Ανατολικής Μακεδονίας και Θράκης.
Αποτελεί σημαντικό λιμάνι και εμπορικό κέντρο της βορειοανατολικής Ελλάδας.
Κατέχει στρατηγική γεωγραφική θέση συνδέοντας την Ευρώπη με την Ασία.
Μέσα στο 2022 ξαναήρθαν στο προσκήνιο οι συζητήσεις για την κατασκευή αγωγού πετρελαίου Μπουργκάς- Αλεξανδρούπολη, κάτι που αποδεικνύει την καίρια γεωπολιτική θέση της πόλης.
Eίναι μία από τις νεότερες πόλεις στην Ελλάδα, δεδομένου ότι ιδρύθηκε ως ένα απλό ψαροχώρι στα μέσα του 19ου αιώνα.
Σύμφωνα με τον Ηρόδοτο, στα αρχαία χρόνια στη θέση της υπήρχε η αρχαία πόλη Σάλη που ιδρύθηκε από αποίκους από το νησί της Σαμοθράκης.
Εδώ στην Αλεξανδρούπολη την Κυριακή στις 14 Μαΐου 2023, υψώθηκε η μεγαλύτερη γαλανόλευκη ελληνική σημαία 618 τετραγωνικών μέτρων.
Επίσης, ύστερα από την τελευταία επίσκεψη του διοικητή της CIA Γουίλιαμ Μπερνς εδώ στην Αλεξανδρούπολη στις 2 Ιουνίου, πριν 9 μέρες, από ότι ακούγεται,
«Η Αλεξανδρούπολη αναβαθμίζεται από τις ΗΠΑ που θέλουν να φτιάξουν μια νέα Σούδα στο λιμάνι της»
Δηλαδή ίσως δημιουργηθεί αμερικανική βάση στο λιμάνι της, όπως σαν αυτό της Σούδας.

A beautifully decorated ground floor apartment is an ideal solution for a family vacation. It has everything you need and more. First of all, there are plenty of convenient parking places. The house is really up-to-date with modern household appliances. The rooms are tastefully furnished, spacious and cosy. There are a lot of pretty little details and pieces in the house that make it feel really special and just like home. Fully equipped with anything that could be needed, it has extremely comfortable King Size beds with Latex foam mattresses. There is a TV in the living room and main bedroom with a satellite receiver for free European TV channels. The kitchen appliances are of great quality just like everything else in this house. We very much enjoyed our stay in the house on the hill. The hosts are really friendly, amiable, generous and helpful. We stayed there in August 2019. The host was planning to change the front yard. It’s going to be very beautiful: paved paths, new lights and a playground. He was planning to put a big barbecue, large picnic tables, a swing and many other things between the olive trees.
So if you book these apartments now you will see big changes compared with what I saw during my visit.
An amazing house located in the middle of quiet fields - just 10 minutes away from the sea by car. You can enjoy the most beautiful and peaceful landscapes, stunning pink sunsets and starry night skies.. We already miss the time we spent there and we would be delighted to come back!
