Wonderful Village in Southern Germany - Villingen-Schwenningen 4K Ultra HD Footage
Villingen-Schwenningen is a city located in Germany in the southwest of the Land of Baden-Württemberg. With around 81,000 inhabitants, the municipality is the largest in the Black Forest-Baar district.
The particularity of the city lies in the fact that it consists of two entities corresponding to two formerly independent towns, namely Villingen and Schwenningen. The two former municipalities merged in 1972 to become Villingen-Schwenningen. Another particularity is geographical: between the two old towns less than 5 kilometers apart, runs along a north-south axis the watershed between the North Sea (to the north) and the Black Sea (to the east).

Very Beautiful German Village - Trossingen 4K Ultra HD Footage
You can hear a lot of music on a tour of Trossingen. This is due to the State University of Music and Trossingen's past: to be more precise, the Hohner company. We start in Kirchstrasse and walk over Löhrstrasse towards the market square. There we see the dinosaur and the museum belonging to it on the left. Cross the main street to the left onto the campus of the State University of Music. From there we go over to the boiler house and through the former Hohner factories. In the Hohnerstraße there are still a few beautiful older houses, which we will take a quick look at. Then it goes over the Cluser Straße to Bahnhofstraße. Our tour ends there. Here is a free car park and the end of downtown Trossingen. Not much has been preserved of the old townscape. Today, Trossingen is also a city without a profile with an uncertain future. The new REWE shopping center is impressive and even architecturally successful. But a city lives from production and not from sales.
Trossingen in Germany is famous because of its company Hohner which produces music instruments.

A tour of the UNESCO World Heritage monastic island in Reichenau, at Lake Konstanz in Germany. This monastic community was founded in the 8th century, and over 20 churches and chapels were built on the island, though only three of them survive. Central part of Singen in Germany
Singen is an industrial city in southern Germany in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The distance to the Swiss-German border is only a few kilometers. Singen is on the railway line from Zurich and Schaffhausen in Switzerland to Stuttgart in Germany. The distance to Konstanz / Constance is about 40 km.
Population of Singen is about 49‘000.

GERMANY: Reichenau - island in Bodensee (lake)
Reichenau Island is an island in Lake Constance (German: Bodensee) in southern Germany. It is connected to the mainland by a causeway that was completed in 1838.
The island was declared a World Heritage Site in 2000 because of its monastery, the Abbey of Reichenau.
The abbey's Minster is dedicated to the Virgin and Saint Mark. Two further churches were built on the island consecrated to St George, and to Sts Peter and Paul. The famous artworks of Reichenau include the Ottonian murals of miracles of Christ in St George, unique survivals from the 10th century.
Today the island is also famous for its vegetable farms.
Large parts of the island are listed as nature reserves.

Sankt Georgen im Schwarzwald is a town in Southwestern Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The town lies at an altitude of 800 to 1000 meters above sea level. The largest part of the municipality, almost 60 km2, consists of forest and fields.
The charming landscape in combination with a variety of exciting destinations in the vicinity make St. Georgen a popular destination for a holiday in the Black Forest (German: Schwarzwald). It has numerous guesthouses and farms with holiday apartments. The mountain town of St. Georgen is not called the sunny mountain town for nothing. While the valleys disappear under a thick blanket of fog, St. Georgen often has bright sunshine.

GERMANY: Beuron Archabbey (monastery)
Beuron Archabbey (in German Erzabtei Beuron or St. Martin) is a major house of the Benedictine Order. It was founded in 1863 by the brothers Maurus and Placidus Wolter.
The abbey still is a centre of study. The library is the largest monastic library in Germany, with over 400,000 books. The abbey also houses the Vetus-Latina-Institut (Ancient Latin Institute), which has for its purpose the collection and publication of all extant old Latin translations of the Bible.
The abbey is located at Beuron in the upper Danube valley in Baden-Württemberg in Germany.

Hey there! A close friend of ours invited us to Remseck Aldingen. So we took the chance to go out for a nice little walk in this small town.
Remseck am Neckar is a town in the district of Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated at the confluence of the rivers Rems and Neckar, about 12 km northeast of Stuttgart, and 7 km southeast of Ludwigsburg.
Five of the six boroughs of Remseck used to be villages and were founded several hundred years ago. References to Aldingen and Hochdorf can be found as early as 1100, Hochberg is mentioned in a text from 1231 whereas Neckargröningen is already referred to in 806. Neckarrems is also mentioned in 1268 as „Rems“; the „Neckar“ was added only in the 17th century.
Today’s Remseck am Neckar was founded on January 1, 1975, by amalgamation of the communities Aldingen, Hochberg, Hochdorf, Neckargröningen und Neckarrems and was initially named “Gemeinde Aldingen am Neckar”, but renamed on July 1, 1977. The town’s new name “Remseck” was chosen due to a castle, which used to be located on a mountain at the confluence of the rivers Rems and Neckar. The “Castle Remseck” was built in 1842 at exactly the same place, further verifying the name “Remseck”.
