I discovered heaven on Italy's Ligurian coast: Bordighera, a hidden gem for summer travel.
I had the sublime opportunity to visit Bordighera in Liguria with a few friends this summer, and had the time of my life. Such a beautiful place, full of fascinating history, miles of pristine coastline, and obviously the best food in the world. Bordighera is relatively a secret still, only 40 minutes to the infamous Monaco in France, it has all the same beauty and wonder, but is so much more friendly and accessible. You can rent e-bikes, dine on the beach, explore ancient towns, swim in mountain waterfalls, horseback ride, or just chill. I fell in love (hard) there ... and am so happy to share this little poem to a stunner of a city.
Gold Hotel: Where I stayed. Perfectly located, beautiful property, run by an amazing family that really brings you into their world.
Discoveriviera: they delivered the bikes right to the hotel and picked them up too. Best e-bike experience yet (they also do food and wine tours which look amazing)
Dream Ranch: Elisa Orengo's working ranch is a stunner with a great story behind it... she's amazing, and the horseback tours are second to none.
Gymnastics: Marco Pons is a gem. He kept us fit during our stay so we could truly enjoy all that pasta;) Private training right at the hotel was epic.
Woodworking: Aurelia Rezoagli is the Caravaggio of wood ... if you go to Dolceacqua you have to seek him out. If you're lucky, you may even take a class from him.
Winetasting: While you can drink wine everywhere in Bordighera, experiencing it on the medieval streets with Marco Barile brings it to a whole other level of enjoyment.
Tour Guide: I highly suggest taking a walking tour of Bordighera, not only is it lovely to explore the streets on foot, but there is so much interesting history you would never pick up on without an expert, and Simona Gibertini is just that. Contact Nicola at the Gold Hotel for the hookup;)
Beach Club Kursaal: We spent most of our time in the good hands of Kursaal, the best beach club on the Riviera ... every lunch there was a dream, cold local white wine, fresh pastas, amazing service. A vacation within a vacation.

Albenga, que con Vado y Ventimiglia es una de las tres ciudades romanas de Liguria Occidental, tiene el centro histórico mejor conservado de Liguria occidental. Albenga es un obispado (Diócesis Albenga-Imperia), su patrona es San Michele,celebrada el 29 de septiembre, pero la ciudad también está dedicada a Nuestra Señora de Pontelungo,a quien dedica la fiesta y la recreación histórica del 2 de julio.

Las playas de Albenga se suceden a lo largo de 1,5 km de costa con vistas a la isla de Gallinara. Son todas playas de arena fina mezclada con grava, algunas libres y otras acondicionadas.
Aquí nos detendremos en una hermosa zona de camping llamada pequeño paraíso; donde aprovecharemos para disfrutar de un día de relax, donde podremos nadar en este maravilloso mar de aguas cristalinas.
También te mostraremos unas maravillosas imágenes realizadas con el Drone, y te llevaremos de paseo y conocerás la ciudad en nuestro scooter.

In this new video from Libre Con Nosotros, we take you to discover a little paradise; we are in Albenga, a city on the Ligurian Riviera; Albenga is considered the capital of Roman and medieval Liguria.
Here you can enjoy the view of the famous Gallinara island, an islet rich in flora and fauna which owes its funny name to the presence of wild hens in Roman times.
The beaches of Albenga follow one another along a 1.5 km long coastline with a view of the island of Gallinara. They are all beaches of fine sand mixed with gravel, some free and others equipped.
Here we will stop in a beautiful camping area called little paradise; where we will take advantage to enjoy a relaxing day, where we will be able to swim in this wonderful sea of crystalline waters.
We will also show you some wonderful images made with the Drone, and we will take you on a tour and get to know the city on our scooter.

In questo nuovo video di Libre Con Nosotros, vi portiamo a conoscere un piccolo paradiso; ci troviamo ad Albenga, una città della Riviera Ligure; Albenga viene considerata la capitale della Liguria romana e medievale.
Qui potrete godervi della vista della famosa isola della Gallinara, un isolotto ricchissimo di flora e fauna che deve il suo buffo nome alla presenza di galline selvatiche in epoca romana.
Le spiagge di Albenga si susseguono su un litorale lungo 1,5 km con vista sull’isola di Gallinara. Sono tutte spiagge di sabbia fina mista a ghiaia, alcune libere ed altre attrezzate.
Noi qui sosteremo in un area camping bellissimo chiamato piccolo paradiso; dove approfittiamo per goderci delle giornata di relax, dove riusciremo ha fare il bagno in questo meraviglioso mare di acque cristalline.
