Kuwait City, Salmiya, Jahra and Wafrah are the main destinations in Kuwait.
Kuwait City - the capital
Jahrah - 30 minutes - A town north of Kuwait City with great historic importance.
Ahmadi- 30 minutes - Many of Kuwait's oil refineries are located here.
Hawalli - 20 minutes - Important residential area
Farwaniyah - 20 minutes - Important port in Kuwait
Mubarak Al Kaber - 25 minutes
Salmiya- 15 minutes - Known for its beaches and host high-end real estate. Inner blocks are residential areas of lower cost.
Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh - 25 minutes - Very cheap housing. Residents are mostly Indian blue-collar and semi-blue collar workers. Poor sanitation and plumbing.
Riggae: A quiet and cleaner alternative to Jleeb.
Wafrah and chalets are common getaways for Kuwaitis and residents. Wafrah (113km away from Kuwait City) is basically farmland. Chalets are beach houses in Khairan and Bnaider, where Kuwaitis enjoy beach culture, yachts and participate in water sport activities like scuba-diving. Most Kuwaitis own chalets although some chalets can be rented. Failaka Island has a diverse climate from the rest of Kuwait. Before the war, Az-Zawr, the town on the island was heavily inhabited but after the war the town was destroyed and very few people live there. There is a heritage hotel there now. Ferries can be taken from Kuwait City and Salmiya.
If on a business trip, there are some sites worth seeing:
Al-Mubarakiya, middle of Kuwait City. Traditional-style Shops, Really need to visit.
Sadu House, middle of Kuwait City. Historic house which turned into a museum.
Bait al-Othman Museum, Hawalli. Museum about Kuwait's history, the museum was established through a historical house of Al Othman family.
Kuwait Scientific Center, Kuwait City. Scientific center, includes IMAX cinema and museum.
Museum of Modern Art, Kuwait City. Art museum housed in a historic pre-oil school, includes preserved classrooms.
Failaka Heritage Village, (take KPTC ferry from Ras Al Salmiya (Ras al Ardh) near scientific center or private speedboat near Marina Mall). A port with many old dhows, Failaka Island can be reached by regular ferry services. 3 KD.
Mina Al Ahmadi. Mina Al Ahmadi, lying 19km (12 miles) south of Kuwait City, is an oil port with immense jetties for supertanker traffic. The Oil Display Center pays homage to the work of the Kuwait Oil Company (Reservations needed)
Kazmah Desert Cliffs, (go on Road 80, turn right to Road 801 to Bubiyan, take first exit and turn left). Being one of the few elevations in the Kuwaiti desert these cliffs allow a good view on the bay if the visibility is good. A lot of young Kuwaitis come here on weekends to challenge their Jeeps and Quads uphill.

Hello everyone,
So i went to visit Sheikh Albdullah Alsalem cultural centre with my family and so i thought i could make a short vlog about it.
I hope you enjoy it.
Cameras weren't allowed inside so i had to film my trip with my iPhone 6s, surprisingly it turned out quite good!!. I couldn't film everything because of how crowded it was inside and also because i didn't want anyone to show in my video for privacy reasons.

Yasmin Farms can be called 'greenery in the desert' which is an unusual treat to our eyes. Everything right from fresh milk products to fresh fruits and vegetables is produced here. The beautiful climate-controlled greenhouses are worth watching.
We visited this farm many times and observed many changes every time we come here.

This location is almost 115 Km from Kuwait city and is situated in the Al-Wafra area which can easily be explored via google maps. Yasmin Farm is owned by Alban Dairy and their products are also available at Sultan Center. Anyone can visit Yasmin farms from 8 AM to 8 PM daily but preferable to go on weekends.
There is a free entry to the farm until a certain point and to visit the cattle farms there are tickets at a cost of 3 KD. The farm has a small cafeteria, a store selling fresh products, and a wide variety of dairy products, and a play area for kids. A golf cart can also be hired there. Plan a full-day picnic and bring your own food. Fresh milk ice cream can be taken from the farm's store.

Vegetable/ Fruit Picking - 1 Kd
Animal feeding - 1 Kd
Fishing Rod Rental - 1 Kd
Renting a Barbeque grill - 7 Kd
If you don't want to rent the golf cart then you can take a picnic area only ticket for 1 kd/person. It includes entrance fee + picnic area access for all-day + access to child playground
Wafra is a place in Kuwait that is best to visit during the winter months. You will get a chance to see how farmers grow day-to-day vegetables like Cabbage / Green Chilly / Tomatoes etc.

It's a great rustic farm most famous for its strawberry gardens and Friday strawberry picking. But it also has wonderful produce and a great herb garden nursery .

The Farm is in Al Abdali an average 1:30 hour drive from the city to reach so you need to plan + 3 hours for the roads. The farm is open for public till April end as it becomes too hot to visit. Few details are missing and could make the experience more convenient, starting by having road signs to direct people, despite having ample of land they did not dedicate a small plot for parking and visitors (by hundreds) park chaotically at the road sides causing traffic jams and obstructions in addition to the risk of crossing the busy road especially for families with children. The farm is well maintained, with the strawberry picking as the most popular activity , kids could rent a bicycles or pay for golf cart tour, see the animals and the fields. The farm has a farm market with limited over priced products but excellent flower shop (home grown) for good price. The coffee shops and restaurants are below standard and extremely expensive (we opted to burger King small kiosk) . Overall recommended to visit at least once but would not re-visit

Wafra Farms Kuwait | A Luxurious Farm stay with Family | A Must Visit Place in Kuwait
Wafra area in Kuwait has number of farm houses that one can stay and enjoy with family. These farm houses have air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool and lust garden where they do some farming. Wafra Farms are almost 100 Kms for Kuwait City.
Barbecue facilities are included in the package and one can also relax in the garden, beside the outdoor swimming pool, or in the shared lounge area.
Quad bike was arranged by the caretaker and we enjoyed a lot in our 02 day trip.
The rental cost for 1 night stay is approx 100-150 KWD.

About this farm, its neat...with a very large compound with lots of play space for kids, greenhouses growing vegetables and flowers. Animal pens, with goats, different breeds, birds, ducks, hens.
