GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR: Why We Stayed Here So Long

Rather than moving on to the Galápagos Islands or other parts of Ecuador immediately from GUAYAQUIL, we hung out in the city for five days instead. This city may get overlooked by some tourists during their travel to Ecuador but we decided to explore some well-known sights and even seek out a few little-known attractions in Guayaquil. We found plenty of interesting things to do in Ecuador's largest city. Of course, we found some fantastic food here as well.
Guayaquil's Malecón 2000 makes for a pleasant stroll, as does wandering the old streets of Guayaquil's Barrio Las Peñas. We enjoyed views of the city from atop Cerro Santa Ana. Many people visiting Guayaquil check out the iguanas at Parque Bolívar, however the turtles there are worth seeing as well. When it was time to escape the city for a bit, Isla Santay was the perfect day trip!
The food in Guayaquil may have kept us hanging around just as long the city's attractions. A must-try would be a bowl of encebollado in Guayaquil, and we found an incredible example of this at El Manaba de Portete.

¿Puedo ayudarte a planear tu viaje?

My Trip To Cancun (2021)

In September, I visited Cancun (Mex) for a couple of days and it was fascinating, the weather was so good, and even though I didn't do many activities, I was still able to capture some cool stuff with my Air2S and Pocket2.

Especially the lighthouse and the Mexican Flag, were some places I really wanted to capture, and I finally have them.

Hope you find it interesting... this is just an extra small part of Cancun, next time I hope to capture more interesting places from this beautiful place.
