???????? HERMOSILLO, SONORA | Mexico’s Best DOGOS & Cerro de la CAMPANA in 42c HEAT! | MEXICO TRAVEL 2022

???????? HERMOSILLO, SONORA - Welcome to part number 18 of my 2022 Mexico Travel series! I’ve been in the northern Mexican state of Sonora for a number of weeks, visiting Ciudad Obregón, Cócorit, Esperanza, Guaymas and San Carlos, now arriving in the sweltering desert city of Hermosillo!

The previous video was a 4K walkaround in the central area; this time we go into more detail with some things to do in Hermosillo, such as seeing preparations for Fiesta del Pitic, we climb Cerro de la Campana (Bell Hill), eat some awesome comida mexicana (mexican food) such as DOGOS, Tacos de Pescado in the local market, and more, all in 42c (107F!) and with a pelvis injury!

Hermosillo is another city in northern Mexico which is lesser visited by foreigners, particularly expats, those looking to move to Mexico or those who prefer to visit colonial or beach locations such as Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende and Cancun. Some may ask the usual ‘is Mexico safe’ or ‘is Mexico dangerous’ questions, but it has a lot to offer!

???????? PARRAL, CHIHUAHUA in 4K | Let's Walk AROUND THE CITY! | MEXICO Travel 2022 | Semana Santa 2022

???????? PARRAL, CHIHUAHUA - Welcome to another 4K Walkaround video from Mexico, this time from Parral in Chihuahua. This video comes directly after the main Parral video. This was filmed during Semana Santa 2022 (specifically the morning of Easter Sunday) Let's walk around the city!

Parral is an awesome city, which I would say is one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico. Many will say Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende takes this title, but there are more options if you are traveling to Mexico, thinking of being an expat or moving to Mexico.

Francisco Villa (Pancho Villa) was assassinated here (a prominent general during the Mexican Revolution), it's well-known for its silver mining (Mina la Prieta), has amazing comida Mexicana (Mexican food) such as dulches at La Gota de Miel and Dobladas everywhere (similar to quesadillas and burritos). There are tons of things to do in Parral!

???????? CHIHUAHUA in 4K | Let's Walk AROUND the CITY! | Walkaround Chihuahua Centro | MEXICO TRAVEL 2022

???????? CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO - Welcome to another Mexico Travel video! This video is a combination of my regular style of travel vlog and my 4K Walkaround videos. I was in Chihuahua and Ciudad Cuauhtémoc in 2021 but my trip was cut short by illness and the time remaining on my 180 days so I'm back to explore Chihuahua in more detail, including Parral, Delicias, Creel, and Camargo.

In this video you will have 30 minute walk from outside the central area, through Centro, ending at the Angel monument, on the way highlighting some of the things to do in Chihuahua. What do you think Chihuahua is like? Is it another northern Mexico city full of modern buildings and no colonial architecture? Is it clean or dirty? Is it a place you would consider if you are an expat in Mexico or are thinking of moving to Mexico, instead of more popular locations such as Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende?

If you're thinking of traveling Mexico, or coming for a short trip or vacation, or wanting to know where to visit in Mexico in 2022, my channel is more focused (nowadays) on northern Mexico and lesser-known destinations, presented in an overly straight-forward and sarcastic style. Enjoy!

???????? TORREÓN, COAHUILA | Mexico's Most INCREDIBLE CITY! | Museo del FERROCARRIL | MEXICO TRAVEL 2022

???????? TORREÓN, MEXICO - Welcome back to Torreón, Coahuila, one of my favourite cities in Mexico! This is Part 24 of my 2022 Mexico Travel series! I’ve spent a considerable amount of time in Northern Mexico, previously filming 2 videos in Torreón in 2021, in addition to Durango, Nombre de Dios, Puente de Ojuela, Matamoros, Gómez Palacio and Lerdo. An INCREDIBLE area of Mexico!

Torreón can often be seen as just another regular, industrial city without the history of central and southern Mexico. Yes, it’s a younger city, but that doesn't mean it doesn’t have interesting history or decent food. In fact, the comida Mexicana (Mexican food) I’ve had here is the BEST I’ve had in Mexico (I’m not even joking!).

We visit Bosque Venustiano Carranza, Casa Ricardo Montalbán, Casa del Cerro, Museo del Ferrocarril (insane), and old classics Mercado Alianza, Paseo de Morelos, the Teleferico and Cristo de la Noas! Dios Mío! As you can see, there are so many things to do in Torreón!

You’re treated like a local in Torreón; there are very few tourists so you’re treated like a local… trust me - Something you cannot experience in a tourist area. People from Torreón are, as I say, ICONIC!

If you’re thinking of becoming expats in Mexico or moving to Mexico, you don’t have to move to San Miguel de Allende or Guanajuato. Somewhere like Torreón may not be traditionally ‘pretty’, but it still has a tremendous amount to offer!

Is this the most incredible city in Mexico?

How to Cross the Border from US to Mexico in a Car | QUICK GUIDE

This is a How to QUICK GUIDE on crossing the border from the US to Mexico in a car with foreign (non Mexican) plates. When researching how to drive across the border I came across way too many videos on YouTube that were 10, 15, 20 minutes long and who has time to watch all that? So I decided to make a better one for those looking for good information, QUICKLY!

***Edit: I have heard mixed reports about completing the entire TIP process online. Some say it can be done and others have stated that it cannot. When I was researching the process myself the Banjercito website was often spotty or non functional. For me, I’d rather just visit the Banjercito in person. You will need to stop at the border crossing and get your FMM stamped either way and often the Banjercito and Immigration Office are in the same building. We are not claiming this is the ONLY way to complete the process, but do believe it is the easiest way with the highest rate of success.

Documents needed to cross the border:
1. Valid Driver's License
2. Passport
3. Multiple Immigration Form (FMM)
4. Temporary Import Permit (TIP)
5. Mexican Auto Insurance
6. Original and Copies of Vehicle Registration
7. Original and Copies of Vehicle Title

Wilson's Tips;
1. Make sure your vehicle registration is up to date and not expired. You can face fines and penalties up to vehicle confiscation.
2. Have both the originals and copies of all needed documentation printed out before you get to the border.
3. Don't leave the border without getting your FMM stamped first. There will be a checkpoint several miles down the road. If your FMM is not stamped you will have to return to the border.
4. Don't forget to stop at the border Banjercito and cancel your permit before you leave the country. This is the only way to get a refund for your deposit. You do not have to visit the same one as the border crossing you entered the country at.

???????? FOREIGNER in CIUDAD OBREGÓN, Sonora | Is This RICH MEXICO? | AMAZING Coyotas & HOT DOGS!

???????? CIUDAD OBREGÓN, SONORA - Welcome to Episode 13 of my 2022 Mexico Travel series, this time once again coming from the northern Mexican state of Sonora, in the city, Ciudad Obregón! I’m a foreigner in Mexico originally from the UK and have been travelling full-time for 6 years, including traveling Mexico, I think 7 times now! I love northern states such as Sinaloa, Chihuahua, and Durango - they have just as much worth as Guanajuato and Jalisco - the same is true for Sonora!

Is this RICH Mexico? Sonora is supposedly the 5th wealthiest state in Mexico (depending on sources). In the last video we had a 4K Walkaround in downtown Ciudad Obregon, but this time we go further afield, exploring La Laguna del Nainari, the northern part of the city (hello Beverly Hills), the modernist Catedral Sagrado Corazon (Sacred Heart), Mercado Municipal, have some AMAZING Coyotas (like a cookie/empanada) filled with piloncillo, and yes, a HOT DOG (the best in Mexico) - the Mexican food (comida Mexicana) is NEXT-LEVEL including carne asada and more, as well as a famous Sonora drink, BACANORA (featured in future videos).

International tourism isn’t big in Ciudad Obregón. Why? Because of the whole, 'is Mexico safe?' garbage? Is it not deserving of attention just because it doesn’t have colonial history or architecture? What is ‘Mexican’ by definition? The answer isn’t as simple as you may think.

If you’re looking for things to do in Ciudad Obregón, if you’re planning a Mexico trip, thinking of becoming an expat or moving to Mexico, considering states other than the central ones should be something to think about!

AGUA PRIETA SONORA

Un vistazo desde el cielo a la ciudad de Agua Prieta, Sonora.

Douglas, AZ | Border Town

Douglas is a city in Cochise County, Arizona, United States that lies in the north-west to south-east running Sulpher Springs Valley. Douglas has a border crossing with Mexico at Agua Prieta and a history of mining. The Douglas area was first settled by the Spanish in the 18th century. Presidio de San Bernardino was established in 1776 and abandoned in 1780. It was located a few miles east of present-day Douglas. The United States Army established Camp San Bernardino in the latter half of the 19th century near the presidio, and in 1910 Camp Douglas was built next to the town. #exploring

???????? PARRAL, Chihuahua | BETTER than GUANAJUATO? | ABANDONED MINA de PRIETA | Mexico Travel 2022

???????? PARRAL, CHIHUAHUA - Welcome back to another Mexico travel video! This is part 6 of my 2022 Mexico series and it comes from the AWESOME Parral in Mexico's largest state - Chihuahua! There are many cities sited as the most beautiful city in Mexico such as Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende, but could Parral be even better than Guanajuato?

In this Mexico travel vlog, we visit numerous areas, attractions and things to do in the such as Plaza Principal, Guillermo Baca, Juárez, Palacio Alvarado, the abandoned Mina la Prieta (a remnant from Parral's silver mining days), look into the history of the Mexican Revolution and Francisco 'Pancho' Villa, and sample some comida Mexicana (Mexican food) such as dulces (sweets) at La Gota de Miel (a drop of honey) and Dobladas (similar to burritos). Oh, and we get lost in the desert! CLASSIC!

I've been to many locations in Chihuahua and northern Mexico! You can check out my videos from Ciudad Cuauhtemoc, Ciudad Juárez (and El Paso in the USA), Torreón, Durango, Culiacán and more! If you're thinking of becoming an expat in Mexico or moving to Mexico, there is more to Mexico than Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Querétaro! Wherever you decide to go - enjoy!

DOUGLAS ARIZONA
Douglas is a city in Cochise County, Arizona, United States that lies in the north-west to south-east running Sulpher Springs Valley. Douglas has a border crossing with Mexico at Agua Prieta and a history of mining.
The population was 17,378 at the 2010 census
Douglas was founded as an American smelter town, to treat the copper ores of nearby Bisbee, Arizona. The town is named after mining pioneer Dr. James Douglas[4] and was incorporated in 1905.[5] Two copper smelters operated at the site. The Calumet and Arizona Company Smelter was built in 1902. The Copper Queen operated in Douglas from 1904 until 1931, when the Phelps Dodge Corporation purchased the Calumet and Arizona Company and took over their smelter. The Calumet and Arizona smelter then became the Douglas Reduction Works. Douglas was the site of the Phelps-Dodge Corporation Douglas Reduction Works until its closure in 1987. The smoke stacks of the smelter were not taken down until January 13, 1991. The town was a site of the Arizona Copper Mine Strike of 1983

Sometimes it takes me a little while to answer
comments and emails. But now, you can video chat with me
in real time. I can't promise I will always be
available, but if I am, I will answer! And if you leave
me your email during the call, I will send you the
recorded video of our 1on1 session. I'm super
excited about this! It helps me to get to know my
subscribers better, and it helps you to get
immediate answers to your pressing questions!
