These are the TOP 5 things to do in Zurich, Switzerland. If you are here for one day you can do them all.
If you don't know what to do when you travel to zurich this video is perfect for you.
I arrived in Zurich, Switzerland around lunch time got myself to Zurich HB wich is the Zurich main train station and that is where I started the video.
The first stop was Uetliberg, this place is beautiful and you can have an amazing view over the whole Zurich and the Alps.
Then I went to Altstadt which is the old town or old part of Zurich and if you don't know what to do or you don't have a place just come walk around this old town because ere you have lots to do but the first place you should pass through is the Bahnhoffstrasse, this street is where you can find the most expensive and exclusive brands and items in Zurich, Switzerland.
After these 3 places we also checked the Fraumunster churh, where there is the famous Chaggal windows and if you have time to come to Fraumunster church go inside and take some pictures inside.
Last place was Liedenhof Park and this Liedenhof park is a beautiful place to take nice pictures or just to relax because the view from there is stunning, dont forget Liedenhof Park.
So the top 5 things to do in Zurich are:
Visit Uetliberg
Take a walk in Alstadt
Go to Bahnhoffstrasse
See the Chaggal windows in Fraumunster Church
Relax and take amazing pictures at Liedenhof Park

Uetliberg | Beautiful Swiss Autumn | Uto Kulm | Top of Zurich | Switzerland
The Uetliberg (also known as Üetliberg) is a mountain in the Swiss plateau, part of the Albis chain, rising to 870 m (2,850 ft). The mountain offers a panoramic view of the entire city of Zürich and the Lake of Zurich, and lies on the boundary between the city of Zürich and the municipalities of Stallikon and Uitikon. The summit, known as Uto Kulm, is in Stallikon.
At the summit, there is the Hotel Uto Kulm, together with two towers. One of these is a look-out tower (access costs CHF 5, rebuilt 1990), whilst the other is the Uetliberg TV-tower (186 m, rebuilt 1990).
The summit is easily accessible by train from Zürich. Uetliberg railway station lies some 812 m (2,664 ft) from, and 68 m (223 ft) below, the summit of the Uetliberg. It is the terminus of the Uetliberg line, and is linked to Zürich Hauptbahnhof by S-Bahn Zürich service S10. Trains usually run every half-hour, taking 20 minutes.
There are numerous walking paths leading up to the top from Albisgüetli, Triemli or Albisrieden with frequent water fountains and camping spots. Uetliberg also has a downhill mountain bike track which starts in the camping area at the top of the mountain and finishes next to Triemli railway station, also served by the S10. A panoramic footpath leads along the crest of the Albis ridge to Felsenegg, from where the Adliswil-Felsenegg cable car connects to Adliswil and the S4 S-Bahn service in the valley below.
The Uetliberg gives its name to the Zürich-based Uto section of the Swiss Alpine Club, and hence to the Uto Peak in the Selkirk Mountains of Canada, which was first climbed by members of the Uto section.

This is my trip to the top of Zurich Uetliberg during my travels in Switzerland
uetliberg at 2850 feet above sea level uetliberg is the top of zurich standing on top of this mountain at the viewpoint you can get a beautiful panoramic view of the zurich city the lakes and the alps utleyburg is just 4.8 kilometers from the zurich main station and can be reached by train in 27 minutes the summit of this mountain is called as a uto kulm
on 15 september 2017 at seven in the morning we started from a hotel and took a bus to the zurich main station and headed to the platform number 22. here we boarded the s-10 uetliberg train and reached there in around 20 minutes after exiting the train we walked up the mountain a early morning walk in the pleasant weather was a great experience
we walked and reached the top of the uetliberg mountain the top of zurich at the summit of this mountain is a hotel utokulum
on the top of the mountain at the summit near the hotel utokilm you can find two huge towers this is a lookout tower and the access to this tower is five swiss francs the other tower is a tv tower
as i told you earlier you can see the entire zurich city and the lake if you look down from this mountain
this is a breathtaking view of the mountains valleys and meadows around the zurich city the different tones of green due to the shadows cast by the clouds on the meadows is so pleasing and a treat to the eyes
this is the view halfway up from the waving tower there are telescopes placed near the viewpoint which can be used by dropping a swiss franc and you can get a closer view of the different parts of the city below shoba my dear wife was pregnant with our son madhav who is three and a half years old now and we were really missing her during our entire swiss trip as she couldn't travel
we spent some wonderful time at the summit enjoying the view and the pleasant weather after collecting some beautiful memories on our cameras and phones we started walking back to the utiliburg train station exploring the different walking trails around the summit cyclists really enjoy this place as utleyburg offers two official bike trails the trim low and the hockler if you like hiking this is the perfect place for you in zurich utleyburg is a first hiking destination that is easy to reach from several points in the city of zurich a few hiking paths and trails across the albis pass also start at the hotel yutokulm

so this is the uetliberg train station this is the last stop for the trains coming from zurich you can spend some time here sipping hot coffee or a hot chocolate drink at the coffee shops in the platform children can enjoy the kids play area and a small park on the other side of the platform
so trains run between the zurich main station platform number 22 and the utility bug station the s-bahn service s-10 trains usually runs every half an hour taking approximately 20 minutes in either direction
if you're coming by car you cannot drive all the way to utleyburg you can park your car near one of the s-10 train stops like utica waldeg or ringlikon and take a train from there or walk up the mountain
finally it was time for us to board a train back to zurich we would have allowed to spend some more time here but we had to reach zurich by 10 am as we had booked a guided tour to the black forest area and the rhine falls and the bus would be waiting for us there and would leave in time the return journey was equally amazing as we watched through the large glass windows of the train the beautiful countryside of switzerland
dad and mom were visiting switzerland for the first time and they enjoyed every moment of the trip
and we reached zurich main station and walked to the bus station adjacent to the railway station which took us 10 minutes approximately the bus which would take us to the black forest rhine falls was waiting there hope you like this video if you did please give a thumbs up and until we meet next time bye take care

Family-friendly Hikes - The planet walk in Zurich, Switzerland
The planet walk in Zurich is a family-friendly walk from Felsenegg to Uetliberg or back. The entire path is well developed and stroller friendly. It is a common escape for people from the city and well connected to public transport on both ends.
To the top of Uetliberg, you can take the S10, bringing you right to the start of the planet walk on Uetliberg.
In the opposite direction, you can take the gondola from Adliswil to the top of Felsenegg.
Water is plenty along the way, but the sources near Uetliberg are far more common. Between Felsenegg and the hill next to Uetliberg, you will only find a single source of water.
Along the track, you can watch birds of prey, maybe spot a salamander or just enjoy the walk through the forest.
Both at Felsenegg and Uetliberg, you will find restaurants to quench your thirst.
In between, on sunny days, you can also find a small Kiosk next to an old and closed restaurant.
At about two thirds of the way, you can take a detour to a small tea-hut.

In terms of equipment, I opted for the Panasonic G81 with the 12-60 mm 3-5-5.6 OIS lens. I have a couple of cameras (both full frame and M34), but the G80/81/85 is perfect to take on hikes: lightweight, weather sealed and packed with video features.
My idea is to create a video whenever I take a hike (usually 2-3 times a month) and publish it on YouTube, so anyone can enjoy the beautiful nature of Switzerland, as well as my progress as a videographer. I will also comment on my experiences with the G81 (or G80 or G85 - the name depends on the part of the world you live).
