We drive across the delta of the Nile, along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, from Alexandria to Port Said. We make a short stopover there to walk around, to see the Suez Canal, and to eat lunch. Then we continue on southward towards Ismailia and Fayed. The quality of roads we will encounter along our route remains largely unknown. We also want to arrive at our destination before it will get dark. So much for the plans. The first kilometers outside of Alexandria show us however that it might be a long day. Virtual drive, with Polish commentary and a good dose of humor :) ...
Piąty dzień podróży. Plan na dzień jest prosty. Jedziemy przez deltę Nilu, wzdłuż wybrzeża Morza Śródziemnego, z Aleksandrii do Port Said. Robimy tam krótki postój, aby pospacerować, zobaczyć Kanał Sueski i zjeść lunch. Następnie kierujemy się dalej na południe w kierunku Ismailia i Fayed. Jakość dróg, które napotkamy na naszej trasie pozostaje w dużej mierze nieznana. Chcemy też dotrzeć do celu, zanim zapadnie zmrok. To tyle, jeżeli chodzi o plany. Pierwsze kilometry za Aleksandrią pokazują nam jednak, że to może być długi dzień. Wirtualna przejażdżka, z polskim komentarzem i sporą dawką humoru :) ...
