How to go from ISTANBUL to BURSA - CHEAPEST & QUICKEST WAY! TAKSIM SQUARE to BURSA OSMANGAZI
In this video, I show you how you can easily travel from Istanbul to Bursa in the cheapest and quickest way! We start our journey from Taksim Square in Istanbul and use the metro and tram service to reach the Bursa BUDO ferry port in Eminonu, then after taking the BUDO ferry to Bursa, we show how you can reach the Bursa Metro and travel to Osmangazi or anywhere within this fabulous city. You can easily do a day trip from Istanbul to Bursa using public transport in Turkey. The entire trip one-way can be done in under 60 Turkish lira, which is incredibly affordable, comfortable and quick too. The ferry tickets from Istanbul to Bursa cost just 39 Turkish Lira (TL). The Istanbul Metro tickets cost 6 TL and the Bursa Metro ticket was the same.
If you have questions such as: How do I travel from Istanbul to Bursa without a car? Then look no further. We have previously used a coach to travel from Istanbul to Bursa which was a good experience too, however, we prefer the ferry as it is much quicker, cheaper, super comfortable and you get incredible views of the Bosphorus. The Bursa ferry has a small cafe where you can buy tea, coffee, juices, toasted sandwiches, and many other refreshments. There is also sufficient leg space, as well as toilets and no traffic delays (as opposed to traveling by coach or car). Hence, traveling to Bursa using the ferry is the number one choice for us.
We show you how to get to Osmangazi, which is the historical city in Bursa, however, you can also go to many other amazing places within Bursa including the Uludağ mountain where you can go up via the teleferik (cable car). Istanbul Turkey: Top 21 Unmissable Things to do (Must watch before visiting!!!)
In this video, I share with you the top 21 things to do when in Istanbul Turkey. This is as close one can get to a full travel guide when in Istanbul, Turkey for at least one week.
Istanbul is a city that has so much to offer and if it is visited properly, it is unforgettable.
I begin this video by sharing my visit to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. The first time I walked on Istiklal Street was quite memorable for me as I was impressed by how much there is to see in terms of shops, particularly food places.
After walking this street, the Galata Tower will appear and it is an absolute must-see if you are in Istanbul because of the fact that it is among the first landmarks you'll see when watching any video or viewing any photos of Istanbul. It is 1,000 years old and the views from above are spectacular.
Another great place I found was Balat. This is a special neighborhood where you can see colorful houses. It's just a nice spectacle and the area is surrounded by trendy cafes and restaurants.
When in Balat, I highly recommend you go and visit the tomb of the legendary Yavuz Sultan Selim's (Selim I) tomb and mosque. Sultan Selim I was the 9th Sultan (King) of the Glorious Ottoman Empire and the First among the Ottoman Sultans who became the Caliph of the entire Muslim world in the early part of the 16th Century. His Mosque is exquisitely designed and the views from up there are wonderful as the entire complex is built upon a hill.
Now if you are in Istanbul for only 3 days, it may be a good idea to stay in Fatih District because you can easily access the Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar, Sultan Ahmet/Blue Mosque, Topkapi Museum and the Byzantine Hippodrome as these are all within walking distance.
I highly recommend spending time at the Topkapi Palace Museum as it was used by the earlier Sultans of the Ottoman Empire when they moved to Istanbul after the Conquest of Constantinople in 1453. You can visit this palace and see incredible exhibits, rooms, and structures. The Topkapi Harem requires an additional ticket but it's well worth buying
Another good palace to visit is the Dolmabahce Palace, which was built around 400 years after Topkapi Palace and is another incredible palace as well as a museum to view.
Eyup Sultan's tomb and Cami is a must-see place because the tomb is occupied by the blessed companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Sayyidina Ayub al Ansari رضي الله عنه
The mosque of Eyup Sultan رضي الله عنه is immensely impressive and you can easily use the cable cars near to the tomb to get up to Pierre Loti Hill to get great views from above.
Rumeli Fortress is also an interesting place to visit because it was built a year before the Ottomans took Constantinople in 1453 and this fortress played a key role in achieving victory.
The Aya Sofia is also in the Fatih District and it's one of the greatest houses of worship and mosque you'll ever visit. This house of worship was first built by Prophet Suleiman/Soloman عليه السلام
I highly recommend everyone to visit the blessed tombs and mosques of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and Fatih Sultan Mehmet (Mehmed the Conqueror) as these are very significant kings among the 36 Sultans from the Ottomans.

Europes Greatest Singer Tose Proeski | Macedonia
OK, this is quite a claim to make but just mention his name anywhere in the Balkans and you'll see what we mean. Proeski was born in Prilep and grew up in Kruševo as the son of an Aromanian family. After his musical talent was discovered at the age of 12, he was chosen to perform at the popular children's song festival Zlatno Slavejče (eng.: Golden Nightingale) in Skopje, performing the song Јаs i mојоt dеdо in Aromanian language.[6][7][8] This was his first public music performance; however, his successful career began in 1996 when he participated in the teenage music festival Melfest in Prilep.
Superstardom
After spending his time in recording studios in Athens, Greece, Proeski released his third album Ako me Pogledneš vo Oči (If You Look into My Eyes) on October 2002 in Macedonian and Serbian. After the release, Proeski went on a tour throughout Macedonia doing intense promotion. He also went to Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Bulgaria for further promotion. Proeski won Beovizija in Belgrade on April 2003, with Čija Si (To Whom Do You Belong?), a song which became a huge hit in Macedonia and the other former republics. This song was due to represent Serbia and Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 but the EBU stated that too many countries wanted to enter in that year and so some would be forced to withdraw. Serbia and Montenegro (who participated as one country at the time) were one of them.
During the early morning of 16 October 2007, at approximately 6:20 a.m., Proeski died in a car accident on the Zagreb–Lipovac highway near Nova Gradiška, Croatia. He was a passenger along with his manager Ljiljana Petrović in a Volkswagen Touareg driven by Georgij Georgijevski. The Touareg crashed into the back of a truck and then into the median barrier, killing Proeski instantly, crushing the third vertebrae of his neck, although the truck sustained no damage. Proeski was asleep in the front passenger seat at the time of the crash. Of the other two passengers, only the driver suffered serious injuries (head trauma). His longtime girlfriend Andrijana Budimir is an international handball player.
Proeski's body arrived at midnight in Skopje by helicopter of the Macedonian army, and was transported by car to his home town of Kruševo. Grieving citizens gathered to pay their last respects at the airport and also in Macedonia Square. The Embassy of the United States of America, the USAID and the Diplomatic mission of the European Union published official statements on the death of Toše Proeski.[12][13][14] 17 October was pronounced a national day of mourning in Macedonia.[2] The three days following his death were pronounced days of mourning in the City of Kruševo.[15]
After his death, the government of the Republic of Macedonia, gave him the title Honorable citizen of Macedonia

The government organized an official state funeral[16] for Proeski, which was held 17 October 2007 in his home town of Kruševo, including military honour ceremonies by the Honor Guard Unit of the Macedonian army, such as an honor guard, a military orchestra and an honorary rifle salute. The funeral, which was broadcast by the national Macedonian TV was attended by many domestic and foreign delegations, including the President Branko Crvenkovski, the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, members of the Macedonian Parliament and its President Ljubiša Georgievski and other high-ranking officials, the US and the EU Ambassadors Gillian Milovanovic and Erwan Fouéré and other diplomats, representatives of the Red Cross, the USAID and other organizations, sport clubs etc. Since his death, each year on 25 January Mile Stojkoski as a symbol of grief and respect runs a marathon in his wheelchair from Prilep to Proeski's grave in Krushevo. Since 2008 Stojkoski run an additional long distance marathon starting from Krushevo in honor of Toše Proeski. These two notable Macedonians both received the Mother Teresa Award for their humanitarian accomplishments and shared a close friendship.

Представляем Вашему вниманию просмотр достопримечательностей Скопье, Северная Македония. Все, что указано ниже, просмотрено за один день и, в целом, город достаточно компактный для осмотра.
Путешествие София-Скопье-София:
1. Храм памятник Александр Невский, София, Болгария (выезд в Скопье)
2. Невестино, Болгария и мост 16 века, постоенный турками Невестино
3. Крепость Скопье. Первое оборонительное сооружение на этом месте построили римляне, потом славяне в VI веке. Skopje Fortress
4. Мечеть Мустафы-паши Мечеть Мустафы-паши Главная мечеть Северной Македонии, постройка 15 века, смотрится очень колоритно
5. Чуть ниже по улице Самоилова находится церковь Свети Спас. Одна из самых старых в городе. Ее история началась еще в 14 веке. Она как будто врыта в землю. Это не случайно. Во время ее строительства в этом крае правило мусульманство, а значит не одно из задний не должно быть выше мечетей. Во дворе еще одно отличие — могила болгарского революционера Гоце (Георгий) Делчева, боровшегося за независимость Македонии.
6. Старый базар, удивительно передает дух города османских времен. Крупнейший базар на Балканах за пределами Стамбула, расположен в Скопье на восточном берегу реки Вардар под крепостью Кале. С 12 века являлся торговым центром города.
7. Каменный мост, связвает старый и новый город
8. Триумфальная Арка, построенная в рамках программы Скопье-2014 Porta Macedonia
9. Фонтан Воин на коне, памятник Царю Самуилу (болгарский царь, столицей Болгарского царства в то время был Охрид (нине Северная Македония), комплекс памятников местным и не местным героям. Square „Macedonia”
10. Через реку от площади Македония, находится площадь Филиппа II. Там тоже есть фонтаны со статуями приуроченный отцу и матери Александра Македонского

Archaeological Site of Aigai - UNESCO World Heritage Site
The Archaeological Site of Aigai is a fascinating and unusual UNESCO World Heritage Site. As the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Macedon, it was the setting for one of the most pivotal events in the history of western civilisation: the assassination of King Phillip II, paving the way for the rise of his son Alexander the Great who subsequently spread Hellenic Greek culture across the known world. It's also home to Phillip's tomb which was discovered completely undisturbed in the 1980s, an incredibly rich archaeological find.
But unfortunately this wasn't a great site visit for us: we weren't allowed to film in the museum or the tombs, and the palace was unexpectedly closed, so I have basically no footage! Apologies for that.

1991 yılında Yugoslavya nın bölünüp dağılması ile tam bağımsız olan Makedonya Atiana İle yaşadığı isim hakkından dolayı ülke ismini Kuzey Makedonya olarak değiştirdikten sonra Avrupa birline katılma konusunda hızlı ve emin adımlarla ilerleyen Balkanlarda Müslüman ve Hristiyan toplumun birlikte yaşadığı bir ülkedir.

Antik çağ kralı Büyük İskender in memleketi olan Makedonya Çağlardan beri Romalılar Avrupalılar, Sırplar , Osmanlılar, Yunanlılar olmak üzere bir çok kez el değiştirip çeşitli medeniyetlerin hüküm sürdüğü bir ülke olmuş. 1991 yılında tam bağımsız olana kadar bu şekilde devam etmiştir.
başkenti Üsküp (Skopje ) Vardar ırmağı kenarına kurulmuş ve şehri ortadan ikiye Vardar nehri bıçak gibi ayırmış ve nehrin eski yakasında Müslüman kesim oturmakla birlikte diğer yakasında Makedon Takının ve Büyük İskender in heykelinin olduğu yakada ise Hristiyan kesim oturmaktadır.
Ülkede çok sayıda heykel var ve azımsanmayacak kadar çoktur. öyle ki nüfus sayımına göre heykelleri saymışlar ve Makedonya da yüzde 4.1 civarında heykel olduğu anlaşılmıştır.
Ülkede, Antik tarih ve Roma Dönemi, Bulgar Sırp , Osmanlı imparatorluğu dönemi, kuzey Makedonya dönemi olarak adlandırılır.
Üsküp oto yollar ile çevre ülkelere bağlantılı olup, havaalanı ile de dünyaya açıktır. dostluk hatırası olarak Üsküp ün yüksek dağında olan Milenyum hacı kimseyi rahatsız etmez. aynı şekilde camilerde okunan ezanda dışarıya ses yayını ile yine Üsküp lüleri rahatsız etmez.
Üsküp şehrini yaya olarak veya bisikletle 1 günde gezebilirsiniz. Vardar nehri kenarında kurulu olduğu için , şehir kolayca gezilir.
Osmanlı zamanında Fatih Sultan Mehmet köprüsü olarak yapılan ve halk arasında Taş köprü , yine Osmanlıdan kalma Üsküp Kalesi, Osmanlı çarşısı, Mustafa Paşa Camisi ve diğer camiler , Kiril Üniversitesi ,Davut paşa Hamamı Makedonya Takı, Büyük İskender Anıtı , ikinci philip anıtı , Üsküplü Arnavut kökenli Rahibe Terasa , Üsküp de gezilecek ve görülecek yerler olarak sayabiliriz.

с. Ясеново скална арка Котката/ Халката
Скална арка Котката над Ясеново е естествено образувание с височина около 10 м., Локация ТУК: намираща се от дясната страна на Скалният каньон на река Каялъ дере над село Ясеново. За да стигнете до нея, влизайки в селото от най-долната част на рида Тузлата за ориентир трябва да служи каньона над селото, камениста пътека (жълто-бяла маркировка) ждрелото. В древността един от най-важните проходи, които пресичали тогава централните части на Стара планина - Химитлийският проход /Химитлийската пътека, Ясенски проход/.Разстоянието не е голямо, до целта е - около 300 м., но със сериозна денивелация. Може да ви отнеме от 10 до 15 минути, в зависимост дали сте напреднал турист.Като ориентир има самотно единично борче, растящо на скалите отстоящо само 20/30 м. от феномена.
Така например, предишното име на с. Ясеново било Химитлий, което означава покровителство, защита, охрана. Според мнозина, това наименование било дадено на селището заради защитата, която оказвали жителите му на преминаващите по Химитлийския проход пътници. Друга теория гласи, че Химитлий би трябвало да се преведе като гладък, като с това име селото се сдобило пак заради започващият от него стар и равен римски път.
