We kicked off this trip to Poland with a visit to Krakow, a city people have been telling us to visit for years and now we know why. Krakow in the summertime was wonderful! We spent our time enjoying castle views from the river side, exploring neighbourhoods covered in street art, eating some of the best pierogie of our lives, and also discovering what we think may be the best ice cream. The following is our travel guide to some of the best things to do in Krakow!
Wawel Castle is Krakow's crowning jewel, and for centuries it was the residence of the kings of Poland. You can see a mix of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque architecture all in one place.
While in the city, we also had to walk the Royal Route, which was once the historic coronation path of Polish kings.
After visiting the basilica, we spent a bit of time walking the Main Square, which just so happens to be Europe's largest medieval town square.
And that’s it for our visit to Krakow! We hope this video gave you a few ideas of things to do around the city. If you have any other places to add to this list or any tips for fellow travellers visiting Krakow feel free to share those.

The best things to do in Tarnow Poland. I didnt expect this in Tarnow. The city is situated in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship since 1999. From 1975 to 1998, it was the capital of the Tarnów Voivodeship. It is a major rail junction, located on the strategic east–west connection from Lviv to Kraków, and two additional lines, one of which links the city with the Slovak border. Tarnów is known for its traditional Polish architecture, which was strongly influenced by foreign cultures and foreigners that once lived in the area, most notably Jews, Germans and Austrians.

Żywiec is a smaller but beautiful tourist destination that is worth a visit. You will be surprised by some of the unique things to do and places you can explore at this hidden destination.
You can definitely plan a few hours of a side trip here while traveling to Krakow or Zakopane. You might wish to revisit it someday again, to take a break and relax at Żywiec.
Żywiec is a city that is definitely worth a visit. In addition, the famous Silesian metropolis of Bielsko-Biała is located less than 15 kilometers to the northwest, but we will talk about it next time.
The Żywiec Archducal Brewery is one of the most famous and successful producers of beer in Poland. The history of the plant began in the mid-nineteenth century, when the decision was taken by Archduke Albrecht Friedrich Habsburg, the then owner of Żywiec to build a brewery. Many of the original brewery buildings have been preserved to this day. They were designed by Karol Pietschka. The Żywiec Brewery Museum astounds with modern solutions, where we will learn the history of the plant and the process of beer production.
Żywiec itself is really nice. It isn't too big. But it has a few tourist attractions!

Just wild animals walked there before: beautiful route in Żywiec Landscape Park, Poland
Relaxing sunny walk among pure nature beauty near Żabnica village in Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. I follow a trail where only animal tracks are visible: foxes, wild boars, deer. The path lies across several mountain streams, allowing to enjoy the many waterfalls in addition to the incredible scenery of the mountainous terrain.

We are crossing now The Beskid mountains over Glinne Pass into Slovakia. The road is beautiful and offers nice views to the mountains around, reaching to High Tatra as we descend from the pass to Námestovo. It was a great evening drive, through a very natural area, with a dense network of hiking and biking trails. Enjoy!

Ahojky přátelé, kamarádi, známí i neznámí.
Jsme Kači a Marek, těší nás.
Jsme nejen cestovatelským, ale i životním párem. Spojuje nás mnoho společných zájmů, sportovních, adrenalinových, letních i zimních aktivit venku i uvnitř. Naší největší vášní je cestování, elektrokoloběžky, jídlo, zajímáme se o zdravý životní styl a věříme na osud. Milujeme přírodu, všechna roční období, zelenou barvu, symbol andělů a sníme o cestování.
Na YouTube se vydáváme po 6 letech zvažování zda ano či ne. Jelikož před 6 lety jsme se poprvé vydali na dalekou cestu – 25 dní v jihovýchodní Asii, konkrétně v zemích Kambodža a Thajsko. Poté přicházely další a další cesty, kratší i delší, do blízkých či více vzdálených zemí, po krásné domovině nebo například v sousedním Polsku, které máme co by kamenem dohodil. Na každé cestě či dovolené fotíme a točíme, to je jasná věc, kdo taky ne. Fotíme a točíme však tak, že dokumentujeme opravdu průběh cesty, abychom si kdykoliv mohli připomenout, co kde kdy a jak bylo a jak krásně nám tam bylo. Z každé cesty jsou fotky uchovány ve fotoknize a videa zpracována do filmu. Takto točit a fotit nás bavilo, pro sebe pro naši vzpomínku.
Ale na základě vlastního přesvědčení, že všechny zdokumentované zážitky a navštívená místa už nemusí ležet jen v počítači a být jen naší vzpomínkou, jsme se rozhodli vstoupit do YouTube světa a vytvořit tak video galerii i zde.
Najděte touhu po dobrodružství, zážitcích a poznání míst nebo nějakou inspiraci. A když něco z toho díky videu najdete, bude to paráda! ????
