SKÅNELEDEN SWEDEN - An 8 Day Trek (Ep. 1)
The Skåneleden in Sweden's southern region of Skåne is made up of over 1,300 kilometres of trails. I decided to do a spontaneous 8-day trek across part of the SL1 Section from Örkelljunga to Båstad before traversing around the Bjäre Peninsula and finishing in Ängelholm. All this while celebrating my 31st birthday en route!
I packed up my gear, caught the bus from Helsingborg and did my best to capture the adventure for everyone to enjoy. If you prefer to read about the hike as well, I have included a full blog write including a bunch of photos from the trail on my website which I'll provide the link for below:

Finishing the SL1 trail… almost – Örkelljunga-Lärkesholm – Skåneleden 1 – Day 1
This day started by bus and train late, too late to go and track back home… but finally on Saturday afternoon I reached the city of Örkelljunga… there I started… I did already this section of the trail in a much colder weather but now it’s summer. As always the lakes views and forest are beautiful and I’m really surprised nobody was at the shelter of Lärkesholm.
Oh and when you carve wood… don’t do like me and avoid to put your finger on the way of the knife. Just saying.

Tre Top Platzer i Tyskland, julmarknader och promenader i Stade, Bad Pyrmont och Dorsten.
I denna filmen får ni se vår resa genom Tyskland på väg söderut mot Portugal. Vi väljer oss ut tre Top Platzer, då dessa ofta är lite större och vi hittade städer med lagom avstånd på väg mot våra vänner utanför Duisburg. Det blev stopp i den gamla, fina svenskstaden Stade, i kurorten Bad Pyrmont och i Dorsten där vi inte såg så mycket mera än ställplatsen. Vi promenerade och besökte julmarknader och självklart visar vi upp alla tre ställplatserna i filmen.

Searching for the Swedish squid
In end of october 2022, we went for a trip to search for swedish squid in Gullmarsfjorden. In total we spotted two of them. One sitting on the ground, and changing color when swimming. The other was at first buried in the sand, but got bitten by a fish and started showing off in open water instead.
Night walk and beautiful lakes – Lärkesholm-Åsljunga – Skåneleden 1
The bus arrived this time... if you don't know what I'm talking about, you need to see this video: (the day when I was stuck in Markaryd).
So finally I could do this night walk up to Lärkesholm shelter which is (from my experience), one of the best view from the sleeping bag that you can have. The lake is just straight under your eyes when you wake up.
