We have been planning this for a while, and now we embarked on an EPIC bike tour around Nacka National Park, or Nacka Naturreservat. It is a huge area in Southern Stockholm that is dedicated to beautiful scenery, nature, lakes and wildlife.
On our way, we also go through the Southern Cemetery, Skogskyrkogården, charming suburban areas and a typical Swedish gardening colony.

My Swedish friend Luise has made a deal with herself to go into the ocean at least once a month, every month all year long even though she lives in ice cold Stockholm, Sweden. She asked if I wanted to come with her for her January dip to which I reluctantly agreed. I knew the water would be incredibly cold and possibly frozen into ice. These are the things you should try at least once in your life.

Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. It has the most populous urban area in Sweden as well as in Scandinavia. 1 million people live in the municipality, approximately 1.6 million in the urban area, and 2.4 million in the metropolitan area. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Outside the city to the east, and along the coast, is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the county seat of Stockholm County.
