Recently my wife and I spent four months in Brazil as a guest of our relatives without major incidents. There were no criminal incidents at all, probably because we followed the advices of our relatives who have been living in Brazil more than ten years. In this video I describe what we did to stay safe I hope it will help you to have a good safe time in Brazil. This is the second video from the Brazil Travel Guide serial.

PACKING FOR BRAZIL & STEPHAN COOKS - TRAVEL VLOG 287 AMSTERDAM | ENTERPRISEME TV

I'm packing for Brazil and it's a struggle! Well actually packing didn't need to be a struggle but I'm being ridiculous :/. Packing for Brazil is not easy though as we're going to be in different nature areas. If you're curious where we're going let's go through the schedule. The Brazil visit is about Ecotourism and needless to say I'm very excited. Also very important news: Stephan cooked for me the first time ever! I'm very picky and don't like prepackaged foods. He managed to make something delicious from scratch but he did tell me lies haha. Hope you enjoy this packing for Brazil travel vlog but

Getting Robbed while Travelling || Story Time #5

Sometimes when travelling, people get robbed. But! If you take the right precautions, stay mindful of your surroundings, and keep your head on straight, you will be just fine. The world is not as dangerous as people may think. We've travelled to dozens of countries, met hundred of locals, and trusted them with our belongings... just know that there are some sour apples out there.

One key to not losing your valuables is keeping things in pockets that are close to your body and difficult to access without you noticing (or just rock a money belt if that's what you're into). Staying in groups also is very helpful as it deters muggers from approaching you. Know that you're most susceptible when your guard is down... enjoying yourself at a bar, or putting your bag down for just a moments time while distracted by something or someone, is just what a slick rick needs to swipe your goodies. Lastly, know that in some places, criminals work in groups and use very unusual tactics to get what they are after. Stay mindful, be smart, and you'll be A O.K!

Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru: Backpacking South America

A year after my charity trek and backpacking escipades in the far east. I strapped on my backpack once again and headed to the southern hemisphere, South America. This was another place on my dream map I'd wanted to visit for quite sometime. It was a 5 week journey that began in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I went over the boarder into Argentina to visit the famous Iguassu waterfalls. In Chile I flew out to Easter Island AKA Rapa Nui in the Pacific ocean. It's so far the furthest place I've ever travelled too.

Back on the main land I ventured to the most southern part of the continent known as Patagonia to see the Torres Del Paine National park. And finally after travelling around Peru where my trip ended. I went to see the ruins of the lost city of the Incas known as Machu Pichu!

Backpacking Brazil - A Couple of Travellers Episode 7

Andy and Steph's trip of South America continues as they head into Brazil.

Episode 7 begins on the Brazilian side of the immense Iguazu Falls. They then take a 20 hour bus to reach Florianopolis, where surfing becomes Andy's daily challenge.

The colonial town of Paraty with is cobblestone streets is the next destination. Here they take a boat to see all the Islands and Steph gets a little too close for comfort with the marine life.

In Ilha Grande 'A Couple of Travellers' become a couple more as they meet up with friends from Australia. First stop on the adventure is unfortunately the doctors for Andy before they go in search for the remote beach of Lopes Mendes.

The groups Brazilian adventure concludes in Rio de Janerio where they battle the crowds to get a view of Christ the Redeemer. They are then mesmerised by the incredible views at the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain. This leg of the journey ends with a football match at the enormous Maracana Stadium.
