We Broke Up

This is the end. @DearAlyne and I are breaking up.

You, the audience, were the first people to know about our relationship 6 years ago.

You were with us during our lows and highs.

You cheered for us.

That's why you also deserve to know about the end of our relationship.

This is the longest video we've ever made. 13 minutes long.

I hope this helps someone out there with their relationship. I hope they can avoid our mistakes before it's too late.

Until then, Alyne and I will remain good friends. We have zero regrets.
Because...

No growth of the heart is ever a waste.

Love you, Alyne.

Thank you very much everyone for all the love you send my way. I assure you, the feeling is mutual.

I am an American Expat in Ho Chi Minh City, (Saigon) Vietnam. (I dislike the word Expatriate). I have lived in Vietnam for 3 years, I am almost considered an expert at living abroad. As I live, work and travel in Vietnam and south east Asia, I want to take you around with me to show you what I saw in Vietnam, in South East Asia and talk with you about my experiences living in Saigon HCMC and take you with me as I travel vlog around Vietnam and South East Asia in 2022. I am not a backpacker but I started by wanting to backpack through South East Asia. I was going to just visit of vacation, but I was going to take part in tourism activities. I was going to be a globetrotting tourist but I never really planed to document mytravels. Was going to be a long holiday trip, maybe I would become a digital nomad. But I knew Vietnam would be my home when I got here, now Saigon is my home, where I work and live, but I still plan to motor bike across Asia, motovlog Vietnam, moto vlog South East Asia, dare I motorbike into China? And also fly around South East Asia, to tour and travel, But for now, this is my Vietnam life, my HCMC Saigon life, my expat life. I always thought living abroad would be scary, but it's interesting and fulfilling. The food is amazing, the culture is fascinating and the people are friendly and welcoming. If you ever wanted to take the leap to travel and live abroad, Tourism in Vietnam is buzzing right now since Vietnam reopens. I am often asked: are Vietnam borders open? Yes indeed, tourism reopened in 2022. Want to know what I saw in Vietnam and my life in HCMC Saigon. What I think about Vietnam and traveling and living abroad? What to do in Vietnam? How do live in Asia? What to do in Saigon? How to work, or work as a teacher in Asia? How to get a visa or what a digital nomads life could be like in Asia or Vietnam? What is it like to be an Expat in Vietnam and South East Asia? I am an expat, a Saigon Vlogger, a HCMC vlogger, a moto vlogger, a lifestyle vlogger, a digital nomad resource, a Saigon nightlife vlogger, an immigrant, a migrant worker. I make vlogma videos, (wth is vlogma) I want a daily vlog, but ain't got the time. But I can do a video diary, which makes me an online creator. Why anyone would watch vloggers as bad as me, I don't know. Sometimes I make food vlogs, foodporn? Did you know yum in Vietnams mean horn.., well, neverminded. I hope you will feel encouraged by my channel. I will show you a lot of things like how to live abroad, how to be a digital nomad, how to work in Asia, how to experience Vietnam, how to make friends and build a life in Asia, how to enjoy the culture and food. How to be a gamer in Asia. How to live a life in Asia, like a normal person. How to be a happy person. I am not a Vietnam digital nomad in HCMC. But I know a few. Did you actually read all that? Tell me in the comments that you did and I will give you shoutout in my next video. Some keywords I like to include are:

Webinar: Alaska with Stephan Lorenz

The wilds of Alaska from Nome and Barrow to Denali, Kenai and the Pribilof Islands are some of the most spectacular landscapes on our planet. These remote locations still harbour a fascinating array of wildlife in breath-taking numbers from rafts of tiny auklets, stunning eiders and puffins to Polar Bears, Moose and Killer Whales. Next week Stephan Lorenz, whom many of you have thoroughly enjoyed listening to during past webinars on Sri Lanka and Brazil’s Pantanal, is back to showcase another of his personal favourite locations - Alaska. This promises to be another beautifully presented webinar and we will all no doubt learn a lot about Alaska’s birds and other wildlife while also touching on other aspects such as the geography, general natural history, conservation issues and more as we have come to enjoy during Stephan’s past presentations.

Webinar: Mexico with Lev Frid

Mexico, a land of stark contrasts, supports an enviable, endemic-rich avifauna, third only to Brazil and Peru in the New World. Home of the Mayans, Aztecs, Zapotecs and Spanish Conquistadores, Mexico is one of the world’s most charismatic countries. Over 1100 bird species have been recorded from within the country’s borders while over 140 of those are endemic and found nowhere else on earth. This week join Lev Frid as he showcases the countries very best birding locations from Baja, Jalisco and Veracruz to Oaxaca, Chiapas and the Yucatan.

Webinar: Cuba with Clayton Burne

Our 8th instalment in our Dream Destinations webinar series features the magical island of Cuba. For such a small place, it has certainly given the world much to ponder over the years from interesting politics, leaders and alliances to world famous cigars and rum. The island also happens to be a paradise for birders and holds an exceptional array of endemic, special, and range-restricted species. Join Rockjumper’s Operations Manager Clayton Burne as he showcases this remarkable island in all its glory. From vintage cars to Che Guevera and all Cuba’s wonderful birds, this will certainly be a fascinating presentation.

Webinar: Colombia with Forrest Rowland

Up next in our Dream Destinations Webinar series is the incredible country of Colombia. Nowhere on our planet can more birds be found, with the total steadily heading towards the 2000 mark! The primary reason for this phenomenal number of birds is Colombia’s exceptional habitat diversity that includes three Andean Cordilleras, two inter-Andean valleys, the lowland rainforests of the Amazon and Orinoco regions, the isolated snow-capped Santa Marta Mountains and the Pacific and Caribbean coasts. One of Rockjumper’s most popular guides Forrest Rowland is back for his second webinar and we could not think of anyone more appropriate to showcase Colombia’s natural splendour, given his depth of knowledge in the region. Prepare to be enthralled by a plethora of fabulous families from tanagers and hummingbirds to antwrens and antpittas. Colombia offers a truly mind-blowing birding experience and we invite you to join us for a small sample of what one might expect in this bird-rich land.

????Another Thailand Lockdown. How will this impact foreign and domestic TOURISM in Thailand?

#DoMoreLife #Thailandtravel #Thailandlockdown
In this live discussion, we will discuss another Thailand lockdown, and how the new lockdown and travel restrictions will affect foreign and domestic tourism in Thailand. This question will be answered for 2021 tourism and beyond. Once again, Thailand has seen a substantial rise in the number of Covid-19 cases. Thailand has been able to secure and distribute less vaccinations for people, so they continue to control the movement of people, impose curfews, impose alcohol bans, close businesses, and severely damage Thailand's economy by implementing the emergency decree, which has included many lockdowns and restrictions. All of this is their way of combating the virus. In the meantime, Thailand continues to push forward with reopening to foreign tourists, via the Phuket sandbox and the Samui plus model. How can a country be partially locked down, and open for foreign tourism at the same time? I hope this video answers this question. In light of all the criticism, I still believe Thailand's government is doing what they feel is best for the safety of the country and its citizens. I love Thailand, and hope it will remain my home.
