My First Day in SOMALIA as a Tourist! (Extreme Travel) ????????
Is Somalia dangerous for tourists? What about white tourists? Watch and find out.
Today is my first day in Mogadishu, Somalia and I’m enjoying the Somali culture. I’m putting together a series of 5-10 videos to show you the REAL Somalia from my eyes, and not some drive-by tinted window footage like I’ve seen on YouTube. My feet are on the ground and I intend to interact with the locals in Mogadishu.
Is it safe for tourist to visit Mogadishu Somalia in 2023? I’m not entirely sure yet, but I can tell you that my first day was smooth and my guide and guards kept me safe.
I didn’t encounter any dangers and only got the middle finger twice. All around it was a great day for adventure travel. Keep in mind, if you are a non-black tourist then you will require official military guard every time you step outside of your hotel.

Bosaso is the commercial, biggest and developing city in Puntland, Bosaso is situated in the north-East of Somalia, on the Gulf of Aden. Originally, this place was known as Bander Qasim. It was the name of an Arab trader who came and settled here in the 20th century. If we trace its history, it is quite clear that the Greeks sailed to this place of commerce and it was a strategic location for them. There have been several clans that have ruled the city since ancient times.
Group of Adventure travelers who visited over 190 countries traveled from Garowe, Eyl, Qardho and finally reached Bosaso. they visited some part of the ancient city and enjoyed.
Bosaso is about 1390 KM from the Capital City of Somalia where the distance between Bosaso and Hargeisa is about 870 KM.
Cape Guadaful area has a lot of resources that include: Frankincense, Fishi production, Date Plam, Coal Deposit and Natural water springs and livestock and is one tourist loved to see the real corner of Horn of Africa.

Guys I have to be honest with you in this one. After visiting all 197 countries and thousands of cities around the world, I can say with 100% certainty that Port au Prince, Haiti, takes the crown as THE MOST DANGEROUS. Yes, more than Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, Syria and Iraq COMBINED.
I've never experienced before what I just experienced in Haiti... 80% of the city is controlled by violent street gangs, and when we crossed the sketchy checkpoint to enter the biggest slum called Cite Soleil, we had to get permission from the gang-leading chief to enter. I can't make this stuff up.
I'm just glad that I made it out alive and am here to tell this story. My heart aches for the people in Haiti, who are living through this disastrous situation. I hope the country will return to its thriving days like it was a few decades ago. There is so much potential with stunning beaches, smiling faces, and Caribbean vibes.
Thanks for watching - it took my team of 4 and myself more than 3 weeks to get this story edited. My hope is that this video sparks conversations that contribute to a broader understanding and ultimately, a positive change for the future of Haiti.

???? NAFAQO: Mix mashed potato mix with salt. Pour in water and continue mixing. Cut a hard boiled egg in half and coat it with a clump of mashed potatoes. Mold into a circle, forming a ball and place in an orange coloring mix. Fry the balls and enjoy!
???? FRIED TILAPIA: Score the fish and pour in Mama Wiilo’s secret sauce (including vinegar, hot sauce, saffron and gedo masala). Fry until golden brown.

???? SHAAH: Pour water into a teapot and bring to a boil. Pour in sugar, four scoops of black tea and nutmeg. Pour into a smaller container and add ginger and ground cardamom. Mix well. Pour back into a big tea pot. Pour tea through the strainer and then into a frothing cup. Add half and half and froth.

BEEF SAMBUSA WITH BASBAAS: Basbaas: Mix onions, jalapeños, lemon juice, cilantro, salt, garlic, black pepper and cook.| Folio (sambusa wrapper): In a mixing bowl, add water, flour, olive oil and salt. Take the dough and form balls then flatten. Rub oil on dough and stack. Press the dough to flatten. Cut the folio into four quadrants. | Beef (filling): Blend onions and mix with salt, ground cumin, ground coriander, crushed red pepper, and a dash of ground turmeric. In a big pot, add ground beef and brown it for 30 minutes. Drain the beef. In a big pot, sauté chopped white onions. Add the beef. Add the seasoning. Cook for a few more minutes. ASSEMBLE: take one quadrant and fold it into a cone shape. Stuff with beef and seal the edges.

Inside goat: Moist rub the inside of the goat with a mixture of garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice and bay leaves. Add in carrots, potatoes, celery and onions. Roast the goat for about 6 hours. Serve with Somali-style rice.
