About Liyu Lake: The Liyu Lake or Carp Lake (Chinese: 鯉魚潭; pinyin: Lǐyú Tán) is a lake in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, Taiwan. After the development of the lake into a scenic spot, the lake becomes the site of various recreational activities, such as light boat sailing, water sports, etc. It has single lane bicycle path around 5 km encircling the lake and footpaths for strolling along the shore. The Chinan National Forest Recreation Area (Chinese: 池南國家森林遊樂區) and Mukumugi (Chinese: 慕谷慕魚) surrounding the lake displays the old logging trains and the logging displays and aboriginal culture respectively. Sun Moon Lake, named after its physical resemblance to a sun and a crescent moon is the most beautiful lake in Taiwan.
Situated almost 800m above sea level, it draws average 6 millions visitors every year.
Here each day casts the lake in a different light and there are multiple scenic hiking trails weaving through spectacular mountains past exotic flora and storied temples which offer panoramic views of the scenic town. It is a must visit once in Taiwan.

We are Mayur, Gayatri and Om residing in sunny Singapore. Amongst us we have an Indian who grew up in India, a Singaporean ceylonese who spent decade of her life in Australia and lastly our son, a true born citizen of the mixes, half Indian, half ceylonese and very Singaporean.
Our videos mainly consist of mountain climbing trips, some solo journeys but mostly of our family of 3. We thrive with each others company on our road less travelled in our own unique style. We really love off the beaten kind of adventures, eating local food, meeting ethnic tribes, going back in time with some historical sites and simply getting lost. Being in corporate job for the daily survival, our dream here is to inspire people to explore this beautiful world and realise that there is more in life than just 9 to 5.

後日的那天，我們跑到日月潭，
潭依舊，水無存，天降甘霖是大家的心願，
最後一瞥，乾枯且不失景致的日月潭。
水潭從滿水到逐漸乾枯，
裸露出黃色乾裂的土，
再從黃色轉成了綠色草地，
封面圖是水鳥保護區，
原應滿載水與大自然的生態，
現今轉成了綠草與裂痕滿佈，
直至今日，
仍然少了水鳥的再度青睞。
