GULF AIR review: economy class with Bahrain's national airline
Gulf Air, national airline of the Kingdom of Bahrain have a vision to be the regional airline of choice in the Middle East and in this review, I experience their A320 in economy class to see just how good Gulf Air is.
Established in 1950 and one of the first commercial airlines in the Middle East, Gulf Air have been overtaken in size and reputation by nearby airlines such as Etihad, Emirates and Qatar Airways. For my latest flight review I wanted to see how Gulf Air stack up against the competition. Join me as I visit Bahrain International Airport for the first time before boarding my first ever economy class flight with Gulf Air on the backbone of their fleet, the Airbus A320 to Dubai. As always at the end of the review I will share my final thoughts on the overall experience.

Gulf Air 787 to London: Dreamless on the Dreamliner
I flew Gulf Air because they were the cheapest option from Dubai to London, $300 one way incl taxes. The crew were tired, unfriendly, unhelpful and one was quite rude. When I asked what kind of drinks they had, one woman just shurgged I don't know. There was a long hair attached to my headphones from inside the plastic package. The food, which I didn't eat, looked garbage. At least the 787 was great. Fast, clean, beautiful and most importantly, on time into London Heathrow.

I went to Dubai for a weekend! And this is my review of Gulf Air. I had flight GF70 Economy Class from Cairo to Bahrain and then from Bahrain to Dubai. I was very happy with travelling with Gulf Air, and they had cheap tickets. I think I will travel with you again.

Gulf Air B787 9 Falcon Gold LHR - BAH
So as you all know a few days ago I travelled to Bahrain after being away for the last 6 months. However, this time I got to experience flying Falcon Gold on @gulfair new @boeing B787-9 Dreamliner. If you didn’t know I am actually into aviation so this was a big thing for me and let me tell you, Gulf Air certainly impressed me. Not only was the service wonderful but also the dining experience and the attention to detail that has gone into creating the FG seats. The only thing that I personally thought let them down was how far away the screen is from the seats, I am a short girl anyway and had to make sure I was constantly wearing my glasses if I wanted to watch something lol, and also there wasn’t a lot of variety when it came to the movie choices although I got to watch Crazy Rich Asians for the first time lol so I wasn’t really that bothered but it could be a problem for others. Falcon Gold has a 2-2-2 configuration with the window seats being the most private but the good thing is everyone has direct access to the aisle so no more awkward conversation if you’re a solo traveller and have to tell the person sitting next to you “excuse me” because you need to go to the toilet ???? Overall, I really enjoyed my flight and I am very grateful to have experienced this. Even though I am not someone who always fly's business personally I’d always return to Gulf Air if I did. *Disclaimer* This isn’t a sponsored post I am just sharing my thoughts and opinion with you guys, please feel free to comment down below any questions you have and I’ll be happy to answer them (within reason) ????
