This was my 2 days journey which started from:
Bangalore to Thrissur
Thrissur to Vagamon covering around 612 kilometers in 2 days.
There are three routes to approach Vagamon from Bangalore :
Route 1: Via Coimbatore - Thrissur
Route 2: Via Namakkal - Kumili
So, lets begin our journey to witness the virtual travel experience of Vagamon which is a part of the God’s own country. And also, lets relish the mist covered hills tops that the valley of Vagamon has to offer.

Just few a kilometer ahead of Vagamon town spotted this beautiful verdant foliage territory where you could laze around for weeks without a soul bothering you. I guess not many Not many have explored Vagamon.
This view for me was so intimidating and I completely lost control, decided to ride up the hills and as I reached the tip of the cliff, it was like a never-ending line of a lush green hills,
Uffs Man, the breadth taking ravine and meandering rivulets all around.
Surrounded by gentle meadows and wooded hills, vagamon height gave me a good treat to senses and I totally surrendered my self to the nature, and my soul was so satisfied and that I totally forgot about the time and it was already 3 hours past I have been spending there.
Set on the higher slopes of western ghats, Foggy Knolls resort attracts the traveller who first visit the vagamon. Its beauty and elegance are so welcoming. My 2 days at this resort was just mind blowing. The hospitality and the service what they offered was world standard.
The resort provides a number of facilities and amenities to make your stay comfortable. They have 2 types of accommodation; one is with a cave structure and another one is bungalow or rather a luxury villa. They also have some activities to make your vacation memorable. Trekking, Camping, Barbeque, Indoor games, Lake fishing and the one I liked the most was Indoor Theater to watch latest movies.
And the real journey begins now…while I was the ending my day 2 am sure this nature is going to heal me and give me fresh new thoughts or ideas to implement in life.
