Wild Boar gazing in the Mangrove grasslands.
Regularly sighted in Sundarban forests during the cruise to narrow creeks and canals.
These omnivourous animal primarily feeds on plants, young leaves, grass and fruits.Their supplement diet also comprises of eggs, mice, lizrds and snakes.
Their main predetors are the Swamp Tiger and the Estuarine Crocodiles.

এবছর সুন্দরবনের প্রায় জাযগা দেখা যাচ্ছে বংলা বাঘের পায়ের ছাপ। এ জাযগাটা হচ্ছে হিরন পয়েন্ট এর উল্টা পাশে জঙ্গল টা কেওড়া শুটিতে যেখানে সুন্দরবনের সব চাইতে বড় পায়ে হাটার পথ তৈরি করেছে বনবিভাগ । সেখান দিয়ে বাঘের চলাফেরা । অথচ এখান দিয়ে জানুয়াারী থেকে মার্চ পযন্ত শত শত পর্যটক চলাফেরা করে। একেবারে খোলা যায়গা এবার ভাবুন কি ঘটতে পারে?

সুন্দরবন।সুন্দরবনের গভীরে আছে একটি জঙ্গল।তারনাম গলাখালি জঙ্গল।যেখানে কিছু আদিবাসী জনপদ ও বাঘ বিষাক্ত সাপের বসবাস একসাথেই।
গনি টাইগারের টিম নিয়ে আমরা গিয়েছিলাম সপই ভয়ঙ্কর জঙ্গল গলাখালী তে বাঘ দেখতে।
তারই কিছু অংশ আজ তুলে ধরলাম।

Wild boars forage in the endangered forest of Mangroves| Sundarbans, West bengal
Wild boars forage at a waterbody in the endangered Mangroves forest of Sundarbans near Sagnekhali watchtower. A water monitor lizard feeds on mudskippers in a pond.
A monitor lizard has the ability to speed till 15 km at a stretch.
The unique ecosystem of the Sundarbans is home to various species of animals, birds, fishes and reptiles. One such species, monitor lizard, roams the Sundarbans marshes and swamps blending perfectly with the exposed roots of the Mangrove forest.
Walking through the wetland searching for food in the form of fish, eggs or other mammals, however, here it is searching for eggs as it keeps looking through holes or burrows in the forest.
The transition zone between Asia's landmass and its bordering oceans creates unpredictable and unique ecosystems.
Water monitors, one of the world's largest lizard, are common throughout the coastal areas of Indonesia, Sri Lanka and the Sunderbans, an area of the delta of the Ganges River in India and Bangladesh.
Monitors can grow to 3 meters (10 feet), and blend in with the perfectly exposed roots of the Sunderbans' mangrove trees.

লঞ্চের প্যাকেজের বাইরে আমরা ষাটগম্বুজ মসজিদ আর খান জাহান আলির মাজার দেখেছি।
২য় রাতঃ
লঞ্চে ফিরে কোন কাজ নাই। রেস্ট নেয়া আর দাবা খেলা, গান বাজনা করা এসব। দাবা, লুডু, কার্ড এগুলা লঞ্চ থেকেই দেয়। রাতের খাবার খেয়ে তারাতারি ঘুমাতে হবে কারন কাল অনেক ভোরে উঠতে হবে। পরের দিন ভোরে যাব কচিখালি
২য় দিনঃ
খুব ভোরে উঠে আমরা ফ্রেশ হয়ে চলে যাই আমাদের ২য় স্পটে। আজ সারাদিন আমরা দেখবো অফিস পাড়া, টাইগার টিলা , কচিখালি, ডিমের চড়, জামতলি সী বিচ, কটকা।
২য় স্পট-অফিস পাড়া, টাইগার টিলাঃ
এখানে সবচেয়ে বেশি হরিণ দেখে ছিলাম আর সাথে ছিলো বন্য শুকর। এখানে তৃনভূমির মত জায়গা আছে । ন্যাশনাল জিওগ্রাফিতে যেমন প্লেস দেখা যায় বাঘ হরিনকে ধাওয়া করছে এমন প্লেস। ভালই হাটতে হয়। এখানে তৃনভূমির মধ্যে দিয়ে হাটার সময় দূর থেকে বন্য হরিনের পাল দেখা যায়। হরিন শিকার করতে মাঝে মাঝে বাঘও আসে।তবে আমরা কোন বাঘের দেখা পাইনি। আমাদের গাইড আমাদের বনের মধ্যে দিয়ে নিয়ে গিয়েছিল শেষের রাস্তাটুকু। ভয়মিশ্রিত একটা ভয়ংকর ভাললাগা নিয়ে আমরা বন শেষ করে বীচে গিয়ে পৌছাই তারপর নৌকায় করে লঞ্চে ।

সুন্দরবন ভ্রমণের উপযুক্ত সময় নভেম্বর থেকে ফেব্রুয়ারী।সুন্দরবন ট্যুরটা একদম রিল্যাক্স ট্যুর। রাতে প্রচন্ড ঠান্ডা বাতাস থাকে প্রায় সবসময়।তাই শীতের কাপড় নিতে হবে অবশ্যই।সুন্দরবনে শুধু টেলিটকের নেটওয়ার্ক পাওয়া যায়।কিন্তু কটকার পর সেটাও পাওয়া যায় না।প্রয়োজনীয় যোগাযোগ তাই আগেই শেষ করে নেওয়া ভালো।
খরচ:
আমরা ভার্সিটি ট্যুরে ছিলাম।স্যার ম্যাম সহ মোট ৪৭ জন। তাই লঞ্চে বাইরের অপরিচিত কেউ ছিল না ।
তিন দিন তিন রাত লঞ্চে থাকা+খাওয়া আর স্পট যাওয়া পারমিশন ইত্যাদি সব সহ মোট লেগেছিলো ২০০০০০ টাকা। ট্রেনে যাওয়া আসা ৫৪০০০ আর ট্রেনের নাস্তা, বাগেরহাট দেখা, পানি কেনা আনুসাঙ্গিক বাবদ আরো ৪৫০০০ এর মত লেগেছে । মোট ৩০০০০০ টাকার মত বা জনপ্রতি ৬৪০০ টাকা প্রায় ।
গ্রুপ করে যেতে না পারলে আগে থেকে বুকিং দিতে হয় লঞ্চ গুলোতে । সীট ফিল হলেই নির্দিষ্ট দিনে যাত্রা শুরু হয়। এজেন্সি না ধরে সরাসরিভাব লঞ্চের লোকেদের সাথে যোগাযোগ করলে সার্ভিস ভালো পাওয়া যায় আর দামেও কম পাওয়া যায়।
পদটীকাঃ
সুন্দরবন আমাদের জাতীয় সম্পদ । ঐতিহাসিক স্থান। আমরা ঘুরতে গিয়ে কোন ময়লা বা আবর্জনা নদীতে বা বনে ফেলবো না। আমাদের সুন্দরবন রক্ষা করার দায়িত্ব আমাদের । যেখানে সেখানে ট্যিসু বা ময়লা ফেলবেন না। প্লাস্টিকের বোতল যেখানে সেখানে ফেলবেন না। অন্যজন ময়লা ফেললেই আমি ফেলবো কেন? আসুন আমরা নিজে সচেতন হই। অন্যকে সচেতন করি। যেখানে সেখানে নিজেদের নাম ফোন নাম্বার এগুলা লিখা থেকে বিরত থাকি।
