Shree Jagannath Temple of Puri is an important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath, a form of lord Maha Vishnu , located on the eastern coast of India, at Puri in the state of Odisha. The temple is an important pilgrimage destination The present temple was rebuilt from the 10th century onwards, on the site of an earlier temple, and begun by King Anantavarman Chodaganga Deva, first of the Eastern Ganga dynasty.
The Puri temple is famous for its annual Ratha yatra, or chariot festival, in which the three principal deities are pulled on huge and elaborately decorated temple cars. These gave their name to the English term Juggernaut. Unlike the stone and metal icons found in most Hindu temples, the image of Jagannath is made of wood and is ceremoniously replaced every twelve or nineteen years by an exact replica.

Konark is the famous Sun temple of india.
Konark Sun Temple Located in the 13th century, the Karkare city of Puri district of Orissa, India. It is believed that the temple was built by Narsinghdev first in the Eastern Ganga dynasty in 1255. The temple complex has been made in the shape of a huge chariot (with a fine-grained stone wheel, pillar and wall. One of the major structures The part is now ruined. The Konark name is composed of Sanskrit angles (angles or corners) and orch (sun), which is the solar deity referred to in the temple, to the sun. That is the position of various angles of the sun. This temple carries the important meaning of various positions in the Surya.
In the 12th century AD 1223-1245, Narsinghadeva (1238 - 1264 AD) was established in ancient mithrabaran, ie today's corner, on the bank of the Chandra Bhaga River, ie this temple of today. However, before that, any disaster is the main sun temple which is unconcerned. What we see as a temple is not the Nat Mandir, the original temple. As a result, the unique architectural style of the Konark temple, wonderful sculptures and unique art collections were exposed in front of the scenes. Many artists of the Konark temple are now in the Sun Temple Museum and the National Museum of Orissa. Every day hundreds of visitors visit the Sun Temple of Konark. The artistry and creativity of ancient Indian architects and sculptors still fascinate people.
The temple, composed of Orissa and Dravidian architecture, is built in a giant chariot on a gray sandstone. The huge chariot of the sun rising from the sea, there are seven pairs of horses in front of him. Seven horses mean seven days a week. Twelve pairs of buildings built on the huge wheels. Twenty-four wheels mean twenty-four sides. Curiosity of the wheels is a major attraction for visitors. Each wheel has sunglasses. Inside the wheels of the wheel, the thorns of the sunglasses. Eight beards mean eight-o'clock. It is still time to know the timing of these sunglasses. At the entrance of the temple is the statue of two lions who are fighting with two warriors.

The Lord Jagannath temple is one of the most auspicious Hindus shrines which has history of thousands of years. Lord Jagannath is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu himself and is considered to be an epitome of power and is also called the Lord of the Universe. Even the Brahma Purana (one of the 18 major Puranas, the ancient sacred texts that were composed prior to 1500 BCE) mentions Puri as a pilgrimage centre for Vishnu devotees.
One of the most auspicious and revered festival associated with Lord Jagannath is Rath Yatra. It is a 15-day long affair celebrated in the Eastern part of the country which is attended by lakhs of devotees who throng the temple town of Puri, Odisha to seek the blessings of the Lord. This year Rath Yatra commenced on July 14.
Lord Jagannath is worshipped alongside brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra, the mythological origin of the Lord has always been subjected to a lot of academic and religious discussions. There are various beliefs associated with the idols of Lord. And, the most interesting thing about these idols is that they are made of wood, instead of metal or stone like other Hindu idols. And another interesting thing is that although the temples have been renovated several times the idols of Lord are still unfinished. The Lord’s had unfinished hands and lower limbs

পুরীতে জগন্নাথ মন্দিরে প্রবেশের নিয়ম:-
প্রবেশ করতে গেলে অবশ্যই Double dose vaccination certificate with print লাগছে এবং আধার কার্ড original লাগছে।
সঙ্গে ফোন, বড় ব্যাগ অন্যান্য কোন জিনিস নিয়ে প্রবেশ করতে পারবেন না, সেগুলি বাইরে কোনো এক জায়গাতে রেখে যেতে হবে। রাখার জন্য আশপাশে অনেকগুলি জায়গা আছে সেখানে টুকুন করে এই সমস্ত জিনিস গুলো রাখতে পারবেন।
হোটেলে থাকার নিয়ম:-
হোটেলে থাকার জন্য আলাদা করে কোনো নিয়ম নেই, আগে যেমন ছিল তেমনি আছে। কোন ভ্যাক্সিনেশন সার্টিফিকেট কোন হোটেলে দেখতে চাইছে না।
