I had been to Comilla for a day trip and here I'm with all the details.
It takes only 1.5 to 2 hours to reach there! So, if you start early in the morning, you can easily visit maximum places in comilla. So here is the details of my comilla trip:

এক সময়কার বৌদ্ধ সন্ন্যাসীদের প্রধান উপাসনালয় শালবন বৌদ্ধ বিহারের অবস্থান কুমিল্লার কোটবাড়িতে।
কুমিল্লা সদর থেকে ২০ টাকা সিএনজি ভাড়ায় কোটবাড়ি বিশ্বরোড হয়ে সরাসরি শালবন বিহার যাওয়া যায়।
????বন্ধের দিন
সপ্তাহের প্রতি রবিবার পূর্ণ দিবস এবং সোমবার অর্ধদিবস বন্ধ থাকে।যেকোনো সরকারি ছুটির দিন বন্ধ থাকে।

কুমিল্লার ঐতিহাসিক নিদর্শনের এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সংগ্রহশালা এই ময়নামতি জাদুঘর, যার অবস্থান কুমিল্লা থেকে ১৪ কিলোমিটার দূরে সালমানপুরে।
১৯৬৫ সালে কোটবাড়ির শালবন বিহারের পাশেই স্থাপন করা হয় এই জাদুঘর। পাশাপাশি হওয়ায় এক সাথে দুটো স্থানই ঘুরে আসতে পারেন পর্যটকরা।
????নব শালবন বিহার
কুমিল্লার প্রাচীন নিদর্শনের এক নতুন সংযোজন কোটবাড়ি এলাকার এই বিহারটি।
এই বিহার পরিদর্শন করতে হলে কোটবাড়ি বাস স্ট্যান্ড থেকে সিএনজি-অটোরিকশা দিয়ে বিহার পর্যন্ত যেতে হবে। এ ছাড়া কুমিল্লা জিরো পয়েন্ট থেকে কান্দিরপাড় সড়ক দিয়ে কুমিল্লা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের দিকে যাওয়া যায়। সেখানে বামের রাস্তা ধরে কিছু দূর গেলেই নব শালবন বিহার।

ঢাকা যাত্রাবাড়ি থেকেএশিয়া ট্রান্সপোর্ট, এশিয়া লাইন বা তিশা ট্রান্সপোর্ট (এসি,নন-এসি দুটুই আছে), কমলাপুর থেকে রয়েল কোচ এয়ার কন্ডিশেন করে আসতে পারেন । যেকোনটিতে উঠে পড়ুন
চলে আসবেন কোটবাড়ি বিশ্বরোড। ভাড়া নেবে ২০০-২৫০ টাকা পর্যন্ত। ২ থেকে ২.৫ ঘন্টা সময় লাগবে।
কোটবাড়ি বিশ্বরোডে থেকে কোটবাড়ি যেতে সি.এন.জিতে জনপ্রতি ভাড়া পড়বে ২০/৩০। কোটবাড়ি থেকে সি.এন.জিতে কিংবা আটোতে করে যেতে পারেন ম্যাজিক প্যারাডাইস পার্ক।
এ ছাড়া কুমিল্লা শহর থেকে ২২০ টাকায় সিএনজিচালিত অটোরিকশা ভাড়া করেও যাওয়া যায়।

দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের সময় শহীদ হওয়া ব্রিগেডিয়ার পদমর্যাদার সৈনিকদের একটি আন্তর্জাতিক সমাধিক্ষেত্র এই ময়নামতি ওয়ার সিমেট্রি। কুমিল্লা থেকে সিএনজি-অটোরিক্সা কিংবা বাসে করে পৌছা যায় ময়নামতির এই যুদ্ধের গোরস্থানে।

ঢাকা হতে বাস বা ট্রেনে সহজেই কুমিল্লা যাওয়া যায়।বাসে কুমিল্লা ক্যান্টনমেন্ট এসে সেখান থেকে অটোতে চড়ে বা পায়ে হেটে যেতে পারেন ময়নামতি ওয়ারসিমেট্রি।যদি এটি দেখতে না চান কোটবাড়ি বাসস্ট্যান্ডে নেমে মাত্র ৩ কিঃমিঃ দূরে শালবন বিহার যেতে পারেন শালবন বিহার পর্যন্ত সি এন জি ভাড়া জনপ্রতি ২০টাকা,এবং সেখানেই ঘুরে নিতে পারেন ময়নামতি যাদুঘর এবং বৌদ্ধ বিহারে।তারপর ১৫/২০টাকা রিকশাভাড়ায় চলে যেতে পারেন ম্যাজিক পারাডাইস বা ব্লু ওয়াটার পার্কে।

কুমিল্লা বাংলাদেশের দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব প্রান্তে অবস্থিত একটি মহানগরী।
রাজধানী ঢাকা থেকে কুমিল্লার দূরত্ব ৯৭ কিলোমিটার। সড়ক অথবা রেলপথের মাধ্যমে ভ্রমণ করা যায়। তবে রেলপথে ঢাকা থেকে কুমিল্লা যেতে মোট ১৯৭ কিলোমিটার পথ অতিক্রম করতে হয়।
কুমিল্লাতে বহুসংখ্যক পর্যটন আকর্ষণ রয়েছে। কুমিল্লার লালমাই ময়নামতি পাহাড়ে একটি সমৃদ্ধ প্রাচীন সভ্যতার নিদর্শন রয়েছে। এখানে রয়েছে শালবন বিহার, কুটিলা মুড়া, চন্দ্রমুড়া, রূপবন মুড়া, ইটাখোলা মুড়া, সতের রত্নমুড়া, রাণীর বাংলার পাহাড়, আনন্দ বাজার প্রাসাদ, ভোজ রাজদের প্রাসাদ, চন্ডীমুড়া প্রভৃতি। এসব বিহার, মুড়া ও প্রাসাদ থেকে বিভিন্ন প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক নিদর্শন সামগ্রী উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে যা ময়নামতি জাদুঘরে সংরক্ষিত রয়েছে।

Comilla Jagannath Temple, also known as Sateroratna Mandir or seventeen-jewel temple, is located in Comilla, Bangladesh. It is dedicated to the Hindu God Jagannath. It dates back to the early 18th century and was built by Ratna Manikya II, who was the king of Tripura.
Lalmai Chandi Temple, also called Chandimura Mandir, is an ancient Hindu temple located on the summit of the Lalmai hill in Barura Upazila of Comilla District, Bangladesh. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Kali. There is a temple dedicated to the God Shiva nearby.
Comilla is bounded by Burichang Upazila and Tripura on the north, Laksham, and Chauddagram on the south, and Barura on the west.
Rani Kuthir is located at Dharmasagor Entrance Road, Comilla. Besides this landmark, there are twelve more landmarks listed in Comilla. There's also six attractions listed in this district in other categories. You will find the exact location of Rani Kuthir on the map above.

We visited some #historical place of Comilla.There are a lot of tourist attractions and each of them are bearing a lot of historical story.By visiting there you can get the Royal feelings too.
For a day trip Comilla is undoubtedly a great place.We missed some of historical place because of rain but it is quite possible to visit all of the main tourist places of this District.
